| Tom Hardy Gets A New Tattoo Posted: 27 Nov 2010 01:11 PM PST Hottie Tom Hardy, who has just been cast in the upcoming sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, is very fond of tattoos so he decided that he needed to get a bit more ink done on his fine bod and paid a visit to Darkday Tattoo Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia: 
The way I understand it, Hardy decided to get his next tattoo from artist Bryan Glatiotis after he saw his work on the arm of a young woman on the set of his current film This Means War (which is in production in Vancouver). | Let’s Go, Ok Go Posted: 27 Nov 2010 12:52 PM PST I managed to avoid all shopping yesterday on Black Friday because I was too bizzy chilllin’ at home watchin’ movies on the couch. I did manage to get out of the house last night to meet up with my new friend Jen for dinner at Dominick’s. She and I had the best time … we talked for 3 hours about music and concerts and life and everything in between. She and I agree on so much music and we’ve seen some of the same shows over the years (altho, on opposite sides of the country) that we lost track of the time. We had a blast. Tonight, I’ll be making my way out to Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles to see Ok Go live in concert: 
I’ve seen the band live over the years (going back to a show in Detroit back in 2004) and never get tired of seeing them rock out on stage. I’m really excited so that’s what I’ll be doing tonight. David gets home from his Thanksgiving trip back East tonight as well so … today is going to be a great day! Happy Saturday!!

| The LA Galaxy Take On The Newcastle Jets & Lose Posted: 27 Nov 2010 11:58 AM PST On Thursday we learned that David Beckham and the LA Galaxy soccer team made their way to Sydney, Australia to play a friendly match this weekend again the A-League Newcastle Jets. Yesterday we saw photos of Becks kickin’ with with 600 little Aussies at a soccer clinic ahead of today’s game. Well, today in Oz was actually yesterday for those of us on this side of the planet … and it is my sad duty to report that the Galaxy fell to the Jets by a score of 2-1: 
David Beckham, hampered by a back problem, played a full match in the LA Galaxy's 2-1 loss to the Australian A-League's Newcastle Jets on Saturday. Landon Donovan of the United States put the Galaxy ahead in the eighth minute. Beckham started the sequence that led to Donovan's goal. His pass found striker Edson Buddle, who combined with Chris Birchall before Sean Franklin whipped in a cross. Jets defender Taylor Regan and goalkeeper Matthew Nash both missed the ball in a mixup, allowing Donovan to finish for the goal. The Galaxy could have doubled the lead minutes later when a long-range shot from Juninho struck the underside of the bar and appeared to cross the line, but was not awarded. Galaxy coach Bruce Arena praised Beckham after the match, saying the English star wasn't fit to play but insisted he wanted to stay on. Beckham, who has also battled a groin injury in recent weeks, said he always wanted to play. "I normally wouldn't have played but I think when a game like this comes up you want to play," Beckham said. "Tonight was tough obviously, getting myself fit for it. I haven't trained since our last game but aside from the back pain, I enjoyed the game … the majority of time I was pain free." Beckham said he was impressed by the quality of the Jets, saying he hoped to return to secure a win over Australian opposition. "Maybe third time lucky," Beckham said. "It's obviously disappointing to lose the game tonight, but we'll be back." At the end of the match, Beckham handed his shirt to a female fan in the crowd. He later sent a shirt to Newcastle captain Kasey Wehrman.
Ah well, could’a would’a should’a. It sucks that Becks played with an injury but a loss is a loss … them’s the breaks. It’s a big time bummer for the Galaxy to fly all the way to the other side of the planet just to lose a game to a much more talented team but here’s hoping everyone involved had fun. Even in defeat, Becks was very generous with his shirtlessness. After the jump, check out a couple photos of David Beckham stripped to the waist as he made his way off the field at the end of today’s match … 
Well, I suppose the sight of shirtless Becks gives some of us reason to celebrate. Better luck next time, Galaxy!

| Jared Leto Does ‘Details’ Magazine Posted: 27 Nov 2010 11:06 AM PST Jared Leto, whose band 30 Seconds to Mars will be releasing their EPIC new music video for their new song Hurricane any day now, is featured in the new issue of Details magazine. In his interview, Jared talks about his struggles growing up, his attitude toward acting vs. singing, his on stage persona and more. Here are a few excerpts from Jared‘s Details interview: 
DETAILS: Your mother was a circus acrobat when you were growing up. How did she get into that line of work?
Jared Leto: Well, my mother was and is an artist, but she was also a single mother with two boys, so I’m sure there were times her occupation wasn’t as creative as she wanted it to be. We clawed our way out of the muddy banks of the Mississippi with food stamps in one hand and whatever you could hold in the other. She’s a photographer; she’s worked in design; she was a rock-climbing guide; she rescued wolves for a while. DETAILS: You’ve said that when you were young you’d break into people’s houses and just sit in their living rooms. Why did you do that?
Jared Leto: My brother and I didn’t have many rules for ourselves and really didn’t acknowledge that there were any rules in the world. We would often break into schools. I assumed everyone did. I mean, we broke out of schools a lot as well. We were the kids that other kids weren’t allowed to play with. There wasn’t any deep ill intent, but we were compelled to do certain things. I think it was about experience, a feeling you get when you’re on the edge. DETAILS: As Jordan Catalano on My So-Called Life, you became an iconic nineties crush for sensitive, smart alterna-girls. Was there a downside?
Jared Leto: I didn’t notice that stuff. I was just grateful to have the work. It was a very short period of time in my life. It was 17 episodes, and I barely spoke!
Leto‘s Details interview continues after the jump … DETAILS: Your band, 30 Seconds to Mars, has this fantasy-fiction lexicon—your fans are the Echelon, for instance. You seem to be in touch with your dorky side.
Jared Leto: Much more than people realize. I was never really the cool kid or the jock. I was always very much the lone wolf. If I could have ever figured out how to play Dungeons & Dragons correctly, I’d probably still be playing it. DETAILS: What does music allow you to express that acting doesn’t?
Jared Leto: I don’t think it has to be defined that way. Just because you like a sunset doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a sunrise. There are different things in life that are worth the pursuit. This has been the longest project I’ve ever worked on, the longest commitment I’ve ever had to any creative endeavor. We’ve been signed since 1998. DETAILS: In concert you wear eyeliner, crazy hairstyles, elaborate outfits. Do you regard it as another acting gig?
Jared Leto: No, no, no. As a musician, it’s about revealing more of who you really are. I’m not handed a script with dialogue; there’s no cinematographer or editor. I’m not so interested in creating a persona. There have been shows where I’ve been very plain and shows where I’ve worn a dress. I’ve got a skirt on right now. I was in Japan and all the busboys were wearing them. DETAILS: You’re known as a ladies’ man. What’s the quickest you’ve ever gone from saying hello to someone to being in bed with them?
Jared Leto: Well, you know, I’ve lived a life. I’ve certainly had my experiences out there, but I wouldn’t be so much of a gentleman if I talked about them. I would furthermore say, if you hope to have any respect at all, you probably shouldn’t talk about them. DETAILS: You turn 39 this month. Any plans to settle down?
Jared Leto: I don’t really believe in settling down. That term implies that the current path I’m on isn’t valid. It’s not always about living your life the way people have lived before you. DETAILS: You and Kanye West recorded a song together called “Hurricane,” which is in part about persecution. Did you bond over all your haters?
Jared Leto: I see Kanye as a fellow artist. I think there’s a connection there, but I don’t think it’s about feeling persecuted. It doesn’t matter if you’re President Barack Obama or Bono or the Pope—there’s someone out there who wants to fuck you and someone who wants to kill you.

Curiously, Brian‘s son Kassius is not seen in this photo but that doesn’t mean that he wasn’t at the park as well. You gotta admit, this is a really cute pic of Brian and Megan. I’m a huge Disney fan so I get the appeal, I’m sure they had a much more fun day playing at the Magic Kingdom rather than fighting other shoppers at the malls around town.

| Kim Zolciak Likes To Smoke While Pregnant? Posted: 27 Nov 2010 08:59 AM PST Last Monday Kim Zolciak, star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, finally came clean and admitted that she is 3 months pregnant with another child (her third overall and first with new boyfriend Kroy Biermann of the Atlanta Falcons football team). But last month, you may recall, Star magazine reported Kim‘s pregsness when they published a photo of Zolciak posing with a gender test for her new baby (it’s a boy, btw). Kim admitted this week that she originally denied that she was pregs last month because she knew she was in her first trimester and she wasn’t comfortable talking about her pregnancy so early for fear of “what could happen” in the first trimester. BUT, Kim apparently had no problem with “what could happen” to her baby while she smoked a cigarette earlier this month, well after she knew that she was pregnant: 
Kim Zolciak from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” took a smoke break while watching an NFL game a few weeks back — it wouldn’t be a big deal … but Kim is three months pregnant. Here’s the timeline: the photo was taken in Atlanta on November 7, outside the Georgia Dome. Two weeks later, Kim and baby daddy Kroy Biermann (who plays for the Atlanta Falcons) announced they were expecting. In case you’re thinking “Maybe Kim didn’t know she was pregnant when she decided to smoke” — well, think again. Kim told a tabloid this week she denied the pregnancy rumors in October because “[I] wasn’t through my first trimester — you never know what could happen.” Exactly. Calls to Kim’s reps were not returned.
I can’t even deal with this woman. Not only is she happy to show off her irresponsibility to the world on her reality TV show but this photo is proof in my eyes that her irresponsibility knows no bounds. There is no way Kim did NOT know she was pregs on November 7, when this photo was taken. My guess is that she will deny that the photo was taken on the 7th, she’ll prolly remind everyone that she used to be a nurse’s aid and therefore knows the dangers of smoking while pregnant, yada yada yada. In the end she will face no consequences for getting caught smoking while pregnant and she will dismiss the whole matter as quickly as possible. The unfortunate thing is that her unborn baby is the only one who may suffer the consequences of her horribly irresponsible actions. In all honesty, I wouldn’t be surprised if Kim is still smoking and/or drinking her beloved wine … pregs or not. Naturally, I cannot know for sure and except for this photograph, it’s all speculation. I just hope, for her unborn baby’s sake, that Kim wises up and just stops being her normal, uncharming and selfish self for the duration of her pregnancy … but, I fear that may too much to ask. | Willie Nelson Busted! Posted: 27 Nov 2010 08:23 AM PST In what is likely the must unsurprising news you’ll hear all day long, singer Willie Nelson got arrested in Texas last night on marijuana possession charges. The offending substance was found by a border patrol agent who smelled the loco weed inside Willie‘s tour bus … a subsequent search uncovered the marijuana and Willie got taken into custody: 
A U.S. Border Patrol spokesman says country singer Willie Nelson was charged with marijuana possession after 6 ounces was found aboard his tour bus in Texas. Patrol spokesman Bill Brooks says the bus pulled into the Sierra Blanca, Texas, checkpoint about 9 a.m. Friday. Brooks says an officer smelled pot when a door was opened and a search turned up marijuana. Brooks says the Hudspeth County sheriff was contacted and Nelson was among three people arrested. Sheriff Arvin West didn’t immediately return a phone message left at his home Friday, but he told the El Paso Times that Nelson claimed the marijuana was his. The singer was held briefly a $2,500 bond before being released.
It is very common knowledge that Willie Nelson is a staunch supporter of the legalization of marijuana who often and very openly discusses his use of the controlled substance. I’m actually very impressed that Willie decided to man up and admit that the marijuana was his when he could’ve very easily had someone else take the blame. At this point in his career, I highly doubt that Willie Nelson is worried about what an arrest for marijuana possession charge might mean professionally … in fact, as an advocate for the legalization of marijuana, he may likely regard this bust as a badge of honor.
