Mariah Carey Tapes Her Xmas Special + More Tony & Eva Divorce Drama

Not allowing her protruding belly to stop her from doing what she loves, Mariah Carey joined Snoopy to celebrate the recording of a "Charlie Brown Christmas" special in New York City last night. Check out the pics of the Christmas special plus read the new messy details emerging about Tony Parker filing his own divorce papers... 

The "Charlie Brown Christmas" special is part of the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Rockefeller Center and Mariah Carey was there glowing in her red peacoat.

Check out the kid in the background dancing. Lol.

In cheater files...

Details about Tony Parker filing his own separate divorce papers in Texas have surfaced. In addition, the internet is buzzing about the way Eva Longoria found out Tony was cheating on her with her former friend Erin Barry. 

According to the NY Post, Tony hid a secret file, which contained info on Erin, on his computer at home. He forgot to hit the "log off" button and Eva allegedly discovered Erin's number and a series of sexy text messages he had sent her. SMDH. Although the couple was already headed for divorce,  this was "the straw that broke the camel's back"

Accordng to TMZ, Tony filed for divorce today. Although Eva filed for divorce earlier in the week in Los Angeles, Texas divorces can be handled very quickly -- in as little as 60 days. Tony states the reason for divorce:

"The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between Petitioner and Respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationships and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation."

Oddly enough, although the couple signed a prenup, Tony does not mention it in the divorce filings. In the divorce papers, he says "Petitioner believes Petitioner and Respondent will enter into an agreement for the division of their estate."

Hmmm... this should be very interesting. And might get very messy.

Tis the season to be... a member of Oprah's audience. Oprah introduced Part 1 of her annual "Oprah's Ultimate Favorite Things" episode, where she gave her audience members thousands of dollars worth of her favorite items. She surprised her guests with some amazing gifts and we are uber jealous that we couldn't be there for the fun. Read on to find out what she had in store for her audience....

With paramedics on sidelines, prepared to help any overexcited guest, Oprah started her big and we mean BIG giveaway. The biggest surprise came when Oprah wheeled on a huge holiday box on stage and revealed an  enormous inflatable cruise ship. The audience screamed and cried when she announced that they were going on a seven-day Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas cruise. Must be nice.

Bishop Eddie Long To Settle Sexual Abuse Cases?! + DeShawn Snow Returns With Reality Show?!

Bishop Eddie Long, pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, was in court yesterday to address the allegations of sexual abuse filed against him by four young men earlier this year.  Find out if they may settle the case and get the church announcements about former Atlanta Housewife and New Birth member DeShawn Snow's reality show inside...

 

 

The first court hearing for Bishop Eddie Long's sexual misconduct case was yesterday, and the one thing that seemed clear was all of the parties involved want to resolve the situation soon. Reports from Atlanta say the case is headed for "settlement talks".   Lawyers for the bishop and the four young men who have filed suits against him said they want to avoid a trial and resolve the dispute in mediation by early next year.

During the hearing on Friday, both sides asked to have a mediator resolve the explosive allegations, and Judge Johnny Panos set a February date for mediation. If that doesn't bring a settlement, the first of possibly four separate trials could begin in July or August.

And what exactly would they be talking about in mediation?  Well...the attorneys said that the court will hear from expert witnesses who will talk about the relationship that SHOULD be there between a professional, like a bishop, and a parishioner, like the young men who have filed suit against him.  Hmmm.  I'd love to listen in on that one.  If all allegations do ring true, I hope the young men in this case haven't been emotionally damaged beyond repair.  And that everyone can move on.

 

 

In other New Birth Missionary Baptist Church news, one of its members who continues to be blessed is Sister DeShawn Snow.  Rumor has it that the Lawd and BRAVO may be bringing her back to televison in 2011. 

The former Atlanta Housewife and newly single lady (her ex-husband knocked up one of their college friends) has a new reality show that focuses on her weight loss, her non-profit foundation, her Snowball Production Company empire, and entering the dating scene.  She will be featured alongside her two sisters and her mom (her sisters pictured above).  

Though no network has formally announced picking up the project, an industry insider says Bravo has expressed interest in airing the show in the third quarter of 2011.

WHAT'S BEEF: Nicki Minaj Goes In On Lil' Kim During Hot 97 Interview, Says Foxy Snitched To Her About Kim Talking Ish

More shots fired!  During an interview with HOT 97’s Angie Martinez, Nicki Minaj threw stones and didn’t hide her hands when asked about her Lil’ Kim “issue.”  Find out what she had to say inside…

 When "Roman’s Revenge" dropped, the blogosphere went crazy saying that the song was directed at Lil’ Kim. But Nicki never really confessed up to that and said it was about a “few” people. But in yesterday’s interview, Nicki took the gloves off and got dirty. Or maybe she put the gloves on and got ready for a fight. You decide.

On Lil’ Kim’s constant barbs at her:

"She just really jumped out the window (regarding Lil’ Kim taking this drama so far). You have to watch who you pick fights with. I think people mistake me for a real Barbie. And they forget where I'm from. And if I have to revert back, I can and I will. Don't play with me."

On paying homage to Lil’ Kim:

“I respect you. I love you. I have said it time and time again. And if that's not good enough for you mama… then there's something deep rooted in you…That's your insecurity bothering you. It's not Nicki Minaj. It would have been any girl that started popping.”

On why she thinks Lil’ Kim is hating:

"You know what scares people? Success. When you don't make moves and you don't climb the ladder everybody loves you because you are not competition. But once you start to make moves...”

On respect in the rap game:

"We all take from each other. Nothing is new under the sun. Why in the black communities do we need to hate on each other? Instead of saying thank you for showing me love....thank you for keeping my name alive. The same way she opened doors for me, I'm opening doors for her. Do you understand what I'm saying? Because nobody was playing your music and you damn sure couldn't get an interview to save your life. But now you getting interviews and every time you do an interview they ask you about Nicki Minaj.”

This chick said Kim wasn't getting interviews or getting her music played to save her life until she came along. Fightin' words. Nicki said this whole thing with Kim did hurt her feelings because she was such a fan of hers. She then revealed that it was actually Foxy Brown who pulled her to the side and let her know that Lil' Kim had been saying nasty things about her. Messy!

I hope these ladies work it out. I mean I never heard about Dolly Parton getting at Reba McEntire. Or Madonna versus Cyndi Lauper. There’s enough room for everybody to "shine" ladies. I think..
