Snoop Dogg’s Got A Royal Gig In The Works

Before the formal shi-shi froo-froo celebration of Prince Williams’ engagement, his brother Harry will be throwing the couple a Hip-Hop themed party, headlined by none other than Snoop D-O-Double-Gizzle.

At least that’s what Harry would like to see happen.

The Queen had better get out her earplugs – grandson Harry wants rappers Snoop Dogg and Tinie Tempah to play at big brother William’s engagement party.

Prince Harry, 26, is said to be organising the bash to celebrate Wills’ engagement to Kate Middleton. And Brit chart-topper Tinie and US megastar rapper Snoop are high on his list for the entertainment.

I hear Harry and his pals plan to lock down Snoop when he lands in London next week. They have already contacted Tinie, who was in Australia having a barbecue with Kylie’s parents. As you do.

I’m told: “Tinie has been approached to perform at the engagement party. “William and Harry hit it off with Tinie at the Wireless festival and requested that he perform at their shindigs. Tinie’s schedule is packed, but he will clear his diary for this. The party will be low-key but fun with mini-burgers, fish and chips. They’ll do a formal party with their family too, but this one is for the cool kids.”

And to think: a couple of years ago, Snoop wasn’t allowed to play live for ANY Brits. Much less the Royal Family.

Teen Shot And Crippled By Son Of A Police Officer Files Lawsuit

A teen in Queens, New York will never walk again after being shot by the son of an officer.

According to published reports Kamesha Williams was at a friend’s house in Bed-Stuy on May 29, 2009, when Evan Bryant and another teen started horsing around with a gun that belonged to Bryant’s father, a NYPD officer.

Although the gun from the shooting was never found, Bryant was convicted of possession of a concealed weapon and sentenced to nine years in prison, but with new developments in the case, Williams and her family are filing a lawsuit against the New York police department for the incident.

DeShawn Snow has finally accepted that cute and positive doesn’t sell on the Reality TV circuit.

Looks like she’s given up on her VH1′s Charm Zchool meets America's Next Top Model project “Second Chance,” in exchange for pimping her attempt to bounce back from Eric for ratings.

DeShawn Snow is back on the scene with her all new reality show. The newly divorced and liberated Snow now has a new attitude with a significant weight loss to go with it, millions in her pocket and the love and support of her two sisters and comical sidekick Mother.

No network has formally announced picking up the project, but an industry insider tell us that Bravo has expressed interest in the show and would like to air it in the third quarter of 2011. What should viewers expect from the girl whom some considered too human?

Expect Snow to tackle serious issues as she takes on being a single Mother of three, a business woman working to expand her Foundation and Snowball Production Company empire, and see DeShawn as you've never seen her before as she enters back into the dating scene.

You already know one of the sisters has dreams of being the next Neffie.

Does A Woman With A Past Deserve A Second Chance?

All too often we hear terms like ho, slut and skank used to describe women who have made some (or several) less than admirable sex-related decisions in life.

Although most of the bad decisions we make can be chalked up to youth and/or being under the influence, the ghosts of a woman's past haunt her regardless of maturation with age. Judged by the weight of past sins, it is difficult for a former girl gone wild to regain the respect of men and women.

Yet, in the same breath, we can use synonymous terms to describe a man and he is regarded with the same level of respect. His image remains (for the most part) intact, and his love life suffers no consequence. It is an unfair double standard that allots for the promiscuity of men while imposing saintly standards of sexual morality on women.

This thirteen-year-old has been getting quite a bit of attention this year, belting out R&B remakes on YouTube. With her dad’s support, she could create a classic of her own, like he did. Do you know which 80′s R&B singer is her dad?

Perri Jones is the daughter of none other than 80s hit maker Oran “Juice” Jones. While he’s best known for the stalker classic “The Rain,” Oran actually has been making it rain on the low, providing music for commercials and films.

Now he’s focused on promoting the careers of his kids: Perri’s older brother Mookie is a rapper.

With labels taking a strong interest in this little girl with the big voice – Oran took his daughter up to a meeting with Def Jam last week – Perri’s released her first original song.

Even Barbara Bush and her old geriatric self knows a douchebag when she sees one:

Barbara Bush has shared her thoughts on Sarah Palin, and it sounds as if she hopes the former Alaska governor decides against running for president. “I sat next to her once, thought she was beautiful, and I think she’s very happy in Alaska,” Bush said, before adding, “and I hope she’ll stay there.”

The former first lady made the comments in an interview with Larry King, which will air Monday night on “Larry King Live.” Barbara Bush is not the only prominent Republican woman to speak poorly of Palin in recent days. On Monday, Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, whom Sarah Palin vociferously opposed during the state’s most recent — and still ongoing — Senate election, said that the former governor lacks the “leadership qualities” and “intellectual curiosity” necessary to be president.

In the interview with Larry King, Barbara Bush also said that she “loved” her son George W. Bush’s new book. When asked about the Tea Party in the same interview, former President George H. W. Bush said that “some of [their] ideas make a lot of sense,” but added that he is “confused by it” and said he does not “know what it really is.”

That’s pure comedy…
