Facebook Trademarks The Word "Face!" Posted: 24 Nov 2010 12:40 PM PST The take-over continues! The US Patent Office has officially granted Facebook's application for the trademark for the word "face," despite it being opposed by Aaron Greenspan, the man who took Mark Zuckerberg to court over the social networking site's creation back in the day! However, the Patent Office, or USPTO, has granted the site a Notice of Allowance, which means that so long as they pay an issue fee to them within the next three months, the word "face" belongs to Facebook so long as it involves "[t]elecommunication services, namely, providing online chat rooms and electronic bulletin boards for transmission of messages among computer users in the field of general interest and concerning social and entertainment subject matter, none primarily featuring or relating to motoring or to cars." Well, so much for any chance at copycat social networking sites! LOLz!

Watch Out, Charlie! NYPD Want To Interview Denise Richards Posted: 24 Nov 2010 12:30 PM PST Charlie Sheen's escort during his meltdown at The Plaza Hotel last month, Capri Anderson, filed a criminal complaint on Monday against the TV star for assault, battery and false imprisonment - and now police want to talk to a witness, Denise Richards. The NYPD contacted Denise about the events of that night. She was across the hall and went inside Charlie's hotel room after the incident, so she may be able to recall evidence. Richards told police that she will "fully cooperate" in the investigation.

Canada Saved The Quaids' Lives From Hollywood Star Whackers Posted: 24 Nov 2010 11:30 AM PST Canada should get a medal or something for saving the delusional Quaids' lives! Randy Quaid and wife Evi are crediting Canada for saving their lives from "Hollywood Star Whackers" who they believe are hunting them. Looks like they're trying to get in Canada's good graces, in an effort to convince their Immigration and Refugee board to give them refugee status. Here's what Randy had to say about it: "I feel good. If it wasn't for Canada's refugee laws my wife and I would be dead." Randy is currently going through two separate hearings with Canada's immigration board, which are as follows: - To determine his refugee claim - Determine whether he is admissible to Canada If things don't go well for Randy, they'll deport him back to the U.S. Does Canada really want to deal with the Quaids on a permanent basis? Kate Gosselin is FINALLY speaking out on reports that two of her children were recently expelled from school, as well as the fate of her TLC show, Twist Of Kate, and she claims that all of the bad press is just a bunch of lies! She explains: "Two of my children, no, are being tutored at home, with a teacher who is working closely with our kindergarten teachers in school, doing the identical curriculum. The pressure was getting to them. You have the divorce anger mixed in with that. The goal is to get them back into school as soon as possible." "We're sort of still trying to shape it [into] what it needs to be and what is going to be fun. So no, not canceled." Yeah…there's something a little off about all of that! And let's not pretend that it's only the DIVORCE that is causing the problems, bb!
