Jennifer Aniston Spends Thanksgiving In Cabo San Lucas With Friends

While many of us were freezing out sweet buns here in the chilly US for Thanksgiving yesterday, Jennifer Aniston and some of her friends were sunnin’ themselves on holiday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Here are a few photos of Jen (wearing the only bikini she owns, apparently) with a male friend in Cabo for Thanksgiving yesterday:

You wouldn’t catch her wearing a red carpet outfit more than once. But it seems that when it comes to the beach, Jennifer Aniston is sensibly more conservative. Enjoying yet another Mexican holiday this Thanksgiving weekend, Jennifer recycled a purple bikini which she first wore a year ago. The former Friends star is in the country with her good friend, comedian Chelsea Handler, who also chose a revealing purple two-piece. Jennifer, who takes frequent breaks to Los Cabos, showed off her slender figure in her favourite purple two-piece, teamed with a sarong and hat to protect her skin. The 41-year-old is holidaying with a group of friends, in a break from filming her new movie Wanderlust … In New York she has been wrapped up warm against the wintry weather, but in Mexico it was time to strip down and enjoy the warm sunshine. Jennifer has taken dozens of holidays in Mexico in recent years – including breaks with ex-lovers John Mayer and Gerard Butler. But usually she brings along a large group of close friends, and celebrated her 40th birthday there with pals Sheryl Crow, Courteney Cox and Kathy Najimy. Reports recently surfaced that she was planned to buy a holiday home in the country with her close friend Courteney Cox.

There is no doubt, Jen LOVES vacationing in Cabo … and she very obvs really LOVES this purple bikini. Dude, if I looked as good in this bikini as Jen does, I’d wear the damn thing every single day. You know who else looks hot in a bikini? Chelsea Handler, that’s who. Check out a couple photos of Chelsea and her male friend in Cabo with Jen yesterday …


Hot. I have to say … I was expecting to see 50 Cent chillin’ with Chelsea in Cabo cuz those two have been hanging out quite a bit lately. I guess they’re not quite ready to do holidays together but … well, you never know. As much as I enjoyed my Thanksgiving here in chilly SoCal, I have to admit … Cabo looks nice for Thanksgiving … don’t it?

Michelle Williams Continues To Channel Her Inner Marilyn Monroe

Last month we got our first look at actress Michelle Williams in full make-up as Marilyn Monroe in her new film My Week with Marilyn. Today we get to see another promo photo of Michelle as Marilyn and I gotta say, I much prefer this photo to the first Marilyn photo we saw last month:

Michelle Williams joked that she wasn't quite her normal self these days — and it's all Marilyn Monroe's fault. 'I feel like we live together,' the actress said, of portraying the iconic blonde in a new movie My Week With Marilyn that just completed filming at Pinewood Studios. Michelle explained that she has immersed herself so deeply in interpreting (definitely not impersonating) Monroe that her judgment had become a little cloudy. 'At a certain point, something else does take over. I don't quite feel myself these days,' she told me as we sat in her dressing room at Pinewood — which was eerie in itself, because it was where Monroe made The Prince And The Showgirl back in 1956, with Laurence Olivier starring opposite her and also directing. My Week With Marilyn focuses on the relationship that developed between Colin Clark, a handsome Old Etonian and Oxford graduate who worked as a general dogsbody on set, and Monroe … My Week With Marilyn also explores the nature of fame and celebrity, with Clark and Monroe's security guard smuggling her away from her American handlers for a glimpse of England.

To be honest, I never saw Marilyn Monroe in Michelle Williams before she got this role … but I wholeheartedly believe that she is capable of bringing the legendary icon to life on the big screen. Not only am I curious to see Michelle‘s portrayal of Marilyn in this film but I’m also terribly curious to see Emma Watson in her first big movie after the Harry Potter film franchise. Thus far, I’m loving what I’m hearing … and seeing from My Week with Marilyn. I can’t wait to see more.

David Beckham & The Galaxy Kick It With Some Little Aussies

Yesterday we saw a few photos of David Beckham and his LA Galaxy teammates making their grand arrival in Sydney, Australia ahead of their friendly soccer match against the Newcastle Jets this weekend. Today we get to see a few photos of Becks and the Galaxy kickin’ around the ol’ soccer ball with a bunch of kids in Oz earlier today:


The Galaxy guys participated in a coaching clinic for 600 wee little Aussies in Newcastle before they got down to the serious biz of practicing for their game this weekend. Ugh … how much fun does this look? I’ve never been so jealous of a bunch of kids before … blah!

Leftovers

I don’t know about you but I had THE best Thanksgiving Day yesterday. Well, OK, it wasn’t the best ever but it was pretty damn good, if I say so myself. This year, I bucked tradition and stayed home … which, to be honest, is no different from any of my other lazy days spent at home, alone but there was a quietness yesterday that made the day feel especially lazy … and fun. After I finished up work early, I lazed about on the couch watching The Twilight Zone marathon on KTLA all day long:


The Twilight Zone is one of those TV shows that scared the HELL out of me as a kid … but as an adult, I really enjoy the fun stories in most of the eps. It’s just so easy to watch episode after episode all day long without having to move a muscle.

I did manage to get out of the house last night to meet up with Angie and Jen to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows:


I really wanted to see the movie again, yes, but I really really wanted to hang out with Angie and Jen last night :) We had fun, ’twas a nice night out.

I’m gonna try and hang out with Jen again later today but, for the most part, I’m gonna take the day nice and easy. While so many other people are dealing with crazy Black Friday bullshizz all over town, I’m gonna just relax. Happy Friday, y’all!!

Lindsay Lohan Feasts On Freedom For Thanksgiving

Last weekend we learned that Lindsay Lohan would NOT be allowed to leave the State of California so that she could travel back East to spend Thanksgiving with her mother Dina Lohan in Long Island, NY. Instead, L. Lo was given permission to leave her Sober Living home in Rancho Mirage, CA to travel up to Los Angeles, CA to spend Thanksgiving with her father Michael Lohan. Here are photos of Lindsay feeling not-so-photogenic as she departed her Sober Living home early yesterday to trek up to her dad’s house for Thanksgiving dinner:

Lindsay Lohan is a free woman … for around 15 hours – LiLo got a one-day pass at Betty Ford to celebrate Thanksgiving … in L.A. … with her dad. Sources close to the actress tell TMZ, she’s leaving her sober living facility in Palm Springs this morning to make the 2-hour drive … but she has to be back by late tonight. We’re told a bunch of Lindsay’s friends are coming to dinner … along with Michael Lohan.

Considering how much freedom Lindsay has been getting from the Betty Ford Center lately (freedom, I might add, I do not think she should be getting), I am impressed with how well she’s been handling herself. Even tho I do not think Lindsay should be enjoying all these day passes away from rehab to do all sorts of fun stuff when she should be focusing on her sobriety, I am relieved at least to know that she has not misused the trust that she’s been given. Here’s hoping that Lindsay is truly thankful and appreciative for all the good fortune in her life. Yes, she is still a bit of a trainwreck but she continues to enjoy special treatment in such a way that keeps her out of jail and in cushy rehab programs. It is up to her, solely, to take advantage of all the opportunities to get better that continue to be given to her. I think we can all be thankful that Lindsay appears to be on the right track these days.

Christina Aguilera & Matthew Rutler Go Bar-Hopping Together

Earlier this week we saw a curious photo of newly single Christina Aguilera exiting a hotel here in SoCal hand-in-hand with her male … friend … Matthew Rutler. Today we get to see a couple photos of the pair holding hands again as they made their way out of the gay bar The Abbey in West Hollywood, CA late Wednesday night … behold:


HMMMMM. It would appear that Xtina and Matt are spending quite a bit of time together these days … but are they really romantically involved as all the hand-holding implies or what. I’m hearing that Mr. Rutler here is quite the womanizer so he sounds like a bad boy to me … but mebbe that’s exactly what Xtina is lookin’ for these days? It’s also possible that Matt, a guy who Xtina met on the set of Burlesque, is just a well orchestrated decoy to throw us off the scent of what’s really going on in Xtina‘s private world … a beard, perhaps. I find it interesting that the couple decided to hang out at The Abbey, which is a well known and very well attended gay bar in West Hollywood. Whatever is going on between these two, it looks like they are having fun together (especially since Xtina looks like she’s all funned out in these photos). I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what becomes of these new … friends.

Eliza Dushku & Rick Fox Serve Thanksgiving Dinner To The Needy In Boston

Lovebirds Eliza Dushku and Rick Fox were among the 200 volunteers who were on hand yesterday to serve Thanksgiving meals in Boston, MA in an effort to give back to those in need. As you may recall, yesterday we saw photos of some of the celebs who served Thanksgiving dinners here in SoCal but Eliza and Rick were doing their part to give of their time and energy in Boston:

A [trio] of celebrities spanning the sports, political and entertainment helped serve Thanksgiving Day meals at a Boston homeless shelter. U.S. Senator Scott Brown was joined Thursday at the Pine Street Inn by actress Eliza Dushku and former pro basketball player Rick Fox, who's fresh off a run on TV's Dancing with the Stars. The three are the best known of the 200 volunteers who will help serve 1,500 dinners Thursday. The Pine Street Inn planned to roast 63 turkeys, and the fixings include 460 pounds of mashed potatoes and 307 pounds of corn and peas. Deserts were also chosen from an assortment of 188 traditional pies.

I just love these two so much and I really love that they decided to give so generously of their time to help feed the needy in their beloved Boston community. Much love and thanks goes out to not only Eliza, Rick and Senator Brown but also to the 197 other Bostonians who were on hand to help serve Thanksgiving meals yesterday at The Pine Street Inn as well as the countless other volunteers who continue to work with the needy all around the world. So many of us, me included, take for granted how rich our lives are … I’m always so impressed with the folks who work to enrich the lives of others. Well done Eliza and Rick … you guys rule!

Britney Spears Shares Her Thanksgiving Message On Twitter

On Wednesday we saw photos of our dear Britney Spears and her beau Jason Trawick making their way thru LAX Airport here in SoCal bound for a then unknown destination for Thanksgiving. According to Britney herself, she and Jason made their way to her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana to spend the holiday with her family and friends:


As some of you may recall, Britney spent her Thanksgiving last year down under in Australia because she was on the last leg of her world tour The Circus starring Britney Spears … this year, her day was more traditionally spent at home with her family. Pink reader Lauren pointed me in the direction of a few photos of Britney enjoying Thanksgiving yesterday with her family and friends at a relative’s home in Kentwood. Yay!! As you can see, Britney‘s sons Sean Preston and Jayden James were there along with Britney‘s parents Jamie and Lynne Spears. Her little sister Jamie Lynn was there as well as Britney‘s manager/friend Larry Rudolph. It looks like a fine, down home Thanksgiving was had by the entire Spears family! It’s likely that Britney will remain in Kentwood for the rest of the weekend before she returns home to SoCal … to get back to work on her new album! Enjoy your stay, Brit … but y’all come back now, ya hear?

Bill Condon Tweets The First Photo From ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’

Director Bill Condon gave Twilight fans much to be thankful for on Thanksgiving yesterday because he posted the FIRST PHOTO to be released from the set of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn on the film’s official Twitter profile:


As you may recall, we’ve already seen photos of the principal cast making their arrival on the Breaking Dawn set in Louisiana and we’ve seen photos of stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson filming on location in Brazil but we’ve yet to see anything official from the upcoming sequel film. After the jump, get your FIRST LOOK at a photo shared with the world by Bill Condon from the actual production of the film …


Feathers, hmmmmm? This photo was posted without commentary but as you can see, a girl’s hand (very likely Bella Swan‘s hand) is seen clutching a bunch of feathers (likely from a pillow). To me, the implication is that Bella is clutching a bunch of feathers in ecstasy, ripped from a pillow on her bridal bed. Much ado has been made about the steamy honeymoon sex scene that is described in the novel Breaking Dawn … it is said that the film will be very faithful to the book description. My educated guess is that this photo is a tease from the movie’s sex scene … it implies that sex is taking place without having to actually show anything sexual in nature. Whatever is going on, this is our first look from the film … sooo …. what do y’all think?
