The Who's Roger Daltrey recently spoke out against the quality of music that now becomes mainstream, and he singled out Simon Cowell as partly to blame! He explains: "We really need to break away from The X Factor and American Idol - that Simon Cowell thing. I really think the music industry will beat this slump and come back stronger. Groups like The Who, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles wouldn't have made it past the audition stage, let alone be shown on TV. That's the joke of it. The music they make on the shows is absolute tripe. He's made a good industry out of it, but it's belittled the power of music. He wouldn't know what the "X Factor" was if it bit him on the bullocks. There's people who like caviar and people who like fish and chips - but most people like fish and chips." We think that's a pretty unfair generalization, considering how many legitimately talented singers have emerged from those types of competition! And many of them would have not had the means to succeed in the industry without Simon and his shows! But every one has a right to their own opinion! What do U think?? Team Simon or Team Daltrey?? Anti-Facebook Pastor Was In A Three-Way With His Wife And Male Church Assistant! Posted: 21 Nov 2010 12:20 PM PST WTF?! This guy's worried about Facebook when he's up to THAT shit?! Rev. Cedric Miller, a New Jersey pastor and leader of Living Word Christian Fellowship Church, gained notoriety this week when he called the social networking website a "portal to infidelity" and demanded that married church leaders delete their accounts or resign. However, this guy has no business discussing infidelity, because in 2003, he and his wife were involved in a three-way sexual relationship with a male church assistant! The pastor was forced to confirm the relationship during his testimony in a 2003 criminal case against the aforementioned assistant. Again. WTF?? Shady shady! Mark Twain Is Still In Demand! Posted: 21 Nov 2010 10:20 AM PST The Autobiography of Mark Twain is an unexpected success! The four-pound, 500,000 word tome has landed on several best-seller lists and gone back to press six times. Editors at the University of California Press expected very little interest and only printed 7,500 copies to start, but now the total print run is up to 275,000. Bookstores and retailers can't get the book fast enough! Kris Kleindienst, owner of Left Bank Books in St. Louis, said: "It sold right out. You would think only completists and scholars would want a book like this. But there's an enduring love affair with Mark Twain, especially around here. Anybody within a stone's throw of the Mississippi River has a Twain attachment." Booksellers believe it's a perfect holiday gift and are desperate to get them in stock for the holiday season. Rebecca Fitting, owner of the Greenlight Bookstore in Brooklyn, added: "He's surprisingly relevant right now. When you look at how much he wrote and the breadth of the subjects he wrote about, you know that if he were alive today, he would totally be a blogger." Ha! Love it.

Jeff Goldblum's Restraining Order Against Stalker Gets Denied Posted: 21 Nov 2010 09:40 AM PST Jeff Goldblum's stalker, Linda Ransom, has been following him since 2001. She's been arrested five times for trespassing and stalking and will be getting out of a mental institution within days. Goldblum's legal team asked a judge for a preemptive restraining order against Ransom, but the request was denied. The judge believed that there needed to be a fresh threat. Wow!
