Eva Longoria & Tony Parker’s Marital Woes Get The Animated Treatment

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 02:39 PM PST

Last Wednesday we learned the shocking news that Eva Longoria had filed for divorce from hubby of 3 years Tony Parker. On Saturday we learned that Tony filed divorce papers of his own. Today, right on schedule, we get our first look at the Taiwanese animated video from Next Media that chronicles the much-publicized split between Eva and Tony:

LOL! I mean … it may not be as funny as some of the other animations we’ve seen but your news story isn’t a news story until it’s been turned into a Taiwanese animated video. Check it out in full, after the jump …

Bless you, Next Media, for keepin’ the LULz coming. I can’t wait to see the next big gossip story to be turned into one of these fun vids.

Satyana Hannigan-Denisof Is One Happy Baby

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 02:26 PM PST

Charlotte Grace Gellar-Prinze isn’t the only beautiful Buffy the Vampire Slayer baby that we get to check in with today … here are a few gorgeous photos of Buffy alum Alyson Hannigan, hubby Alexis Denisof (a BtVS and Angel alum) and their precious baby girl Satyana coming home from a shopping trip together this weekend, having the TIME of their lives!

There is no question that this family just oozes love. They always look so happy to just together … no matter what they are doing, they are just happy to be doing it together. While I have big love for SMG and her beautiful family, the Hannigan-Denisofs are hands down my fave Buffy family of all. Love, Love, LOVE them :D

Checking In With Sarah Michelle Gellar & Charlotte Grace

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 02:14 PM PST

Earlier today we learned the unfortunate news that Buffy the Vampire Slayer is being remade in a new film completely without creator Joss Whedon‘s input and so in order to try and wash away some of the bad taste regarding that news, here are a couple of new photos of BtVS alum Sarah Michelle Gellar and her beautiful daughter Charlotte Grace making their way to dinner here in SoCal last night:

SMG and Charlotte enjoyed a lovely dinner date with another mother and baby daughter couple at Katsuya in Brentwood, CA. Can you believe how big Charlotte has gotten already? We don’t get to see the little Miss very much so I’m always so surprised at how big she grows every time we get to see her. Mother and daughter look great … and I’m just gonna go ahead and say that SMG is the only Buffy for me. Period. The end.

Olivia Wilde Does ‘Details’ Magazine

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 02:01 PM PST

Olivia Wilde, who stars as Quorra in the upcoming new film Tron: Legacy (due out in theaters next month), is featured in the new issue of Details magazine. In her interview with the mag, Wilde describes Quorra as “Joan of Arc but with the hair of Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs” which sounds like a pretty damn cool description to me. Here is one of Olivia‘s racier photos from her Details photospread along with some excerpts from her Details interview:

Wilde, 26, who plays the terminally ill Dr. Remy “Thirteen” Hadley on House, is having a breakout year on the big screen, with roles in the Paul Haggis-directed crime thriller The Next Three Days and the hotly anticipated CGI spectacle Tron: Legacy. In the 1982 original, Jeff Bridges gets sucked inside a computer and engages in a cheesy, futuristic Ultimate Frisbee-meets-Rollerball battle. In this December’s reboot, Bridges returns (sporting a Dude-like beard), only this time there are way cooler special effects, a killer Daft Punk soundtrack, and a secret weapon: Wilde as the cybervixen guide Quorra. The role required that she squeeze into a skintight rubber suit woven out of neoprene and something called electroluminescent lamps. “It was so beautiful that I didn’t need to play the character sexy,” she says. The first time she laid eyes on the get-up, however, she freaked: “I saw the boobs on the suit and I said, ‘Oh, hell no. I’m doing kicks and backflips in this thing?’ ” She describes Quorra as a kind of warrior ninja: “We modeled the character on Joan of Arc but with the hair of Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. But still a total badass.”

From what I understand, Olivia‘s role in Tron: Legacy is much more action-oriented rather than sexy. For the sexy, she lets her Details magazine photos do the talking for her. After the jump, check out the uncensored NSFW image above along with a few others from her photospread …

She looks good, y’all … don’t she? While I do not know much about Olivia‘s work up until now, I’m certain that her role in Tron: Legacy will put her on a whole new level. This Details interview is nice and all but I think I’d like to know more about her. Hopefully we’ll be hearing more from Olivia Wilde in the weeks and months to come.

The Whedon-less ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ Reboot Is Officially In Production

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 01:23 PM PST

In May of 2009 we learned the horrible news that plans were in the works to re-imagine the Buffy the Vampire Slayer saga in an entirely rebooted film that will have nothing to do with Buffy creator Joss Whedon. In December of 2009, Buffy alum Alyson Hannigan went on the record to call plans for a Whedon-less remake a “mistake” … and countless Buffy fans and Whedon faithful agree — me included. Today we learn that the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer script is being written by a woman named Whit Anderson, that the film has been picked up by Warner Bros. Studios and is scheduled for release in 2011 or 2012:

"I didn't really watch much television at all, [says Whit Anderson], but I always watched 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' that was the one show I would watch when I got home. I just loved this character. I was the same age as Buffy and it was so rare to have a female lead character on TV in those days who was strong and capable and smart but also allowed to be feminine." During its seven-season run, the beloved "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" series put some fang into high-school melodrama long before "Twilight" made the undead all sparkly, and one big reason was the ability of the show's creator, Joss Whedon, to put himself in the head of his female fans. Now we'll find out if that rapport works in the other direction as the 29-year-old Anderson works on the script for a Warner Bros. feature-film "Buffy" reboot that is moving forward without Whedon. Anderson, with a chuckle, said she is "fighting through" the script right now, but her concept has already engerized some key supporters. Charles Roven, one of the producers of "Batman Begins," said his Atlas Entertainment signed on after he saw something special in Anderson's tone and story. "Generally, I wouldn't have said 'Let's revive this,' but Whit's take is pretty compelling and a lot of fun, and it's interesting to see all of this re-imagined. This is a completely new reboot. Tone is extremely important and you want the audience to realize what is at stake and the peril is real, but at the same time what's going on should be fun and inviting and keep everyone engaged. It needs to be relevant to today, too, and that is what Whit has found a way to do." Roven added: "There is an active fan base eagerly awaiting this character's return…. While this is not your high-school Buffy, she'll be just as witty, tough and sexy as we all remember her to be." The project has plenty of hurdles ahead, and there is no announced director, but Roven said hopes to see the film reach theaters in 2012 or perhaps even 2011 … Anderson knows that without Whedon … the most devoted fans of the old series will be keeping a skeptical eye on this nascent revival — and sharpening their wooden stakes. Anderson … said she will take the touchstones of the Whedon world but frame them in "a new story" that is very much of the moment. She cited Christopher Nolan's revival of Batman as a supreme example of how a familiar character and revered mythology can be brought to the big screen with a vital new vision.

Firstly, I want to say that I do not blame Whit Anderson for taking up the task of writing the new Buffy script … I don’t think many people would turn down a job like that. BUT, I absolutely feel that any Buffy project that does not have any input, association or even blessing from Joss Whedon is just beyond blasphemous. What a slap in the face it must feel like to Joss to see his beloved creation totally taken over by strangers who will reboot his hard work so that they can repackage, sell and profit from it. I honestly couldn’t care less how creative, inventive or revolutionary this new Buffy is promised to be … she will be a pale copy of the already superior original. While I completely understand the need to move forward on a project that the powers that be believe will be a profitable venture, I can honestly say that I personally have ZERO interest in anything having to do with it. I don’t need a new Buffy. I don’t want a new Buffy. Without Joss Whedon‘s involvement, this new Buffy will NEVER be Buffy. I normally LOVE reboots and retellings of stories in new, inventive ways … but this feels so wrong. Without Joss, I’m just not interested.

How about you?

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 12:48 PM PST

Yesterday afternoon David and I made our out to Laurel Tavern in Studio City, CA to celebrate the birthday of our dear friend Angie! Angie returned to the scene of the crime from last year’s celebration and held court as we all lavished love and presents on her ;)

Angie is one of my newer LA friends but she has quickly become very special to me. It was so much fun getting to hang out and celebrate her yesterday, we had a blast. We have more plans to future celebrations after we get thru Thanksgiving so I’m really looking forward to that. Please send all of your BIRTHDAY LURVE to Angie today :D

Last night, David and I met up with his friend Brian for a quick drink hang-out session in West Hollywood before we retired for the evening. It was a very nice but very cold Sunday here in LA. The 2010 American Music Awards Are Handed Out

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 11:46 AM PST

Last night the celebs made their way out to the Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles, CA last night to attend the 2010 American Music Awards. Tween sensation Justin Bieber was the big winner at the show, taking home 4 awards (including Artist of the Year) but there were plenty of the Lucite trophies to go around for other deserving artists. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals last night:

Look at little Willow Smith showing off her unique fashion sensibilities. Homegirl is only getting started … the little girl is just fabulous. New mama-to-be P!nk was lookin’ fabulous herself … altho she wasn’t bumpin’ out too much on the red carpet, she did have that beautiful glow that all pregnant women have. The pairing of the New Kids on the Block with the Backstreet Boys was just … genius! Separately, the boy bands are just meh … together, they’re actually interesting again. After the jump, check out some photos from the show itself and read some deets about who won what, who sang what and what went down at the American Music Awards last night

Although she was nervous about kicking off Sunday night’s (November 21) American Music Awards, Rihanna took the “challenge” and ran with it. Sporting crimson spirals and a skimpy two-piece, the Barbadian songbird turned out energetic renditions of Loud tracks “What’s My Name?” and “Love the Way You Lie (Part II)” revved up with tropical touches like a drum circle and dancers in fringe-laden outfits. The songstress’ hip-twisting, percussion-heavy set scored a standing ovation from the star-packed crowd. Rihanna’s set established the tone for the rest for the evening, which was marked by similarly epic stage productions. After picking up the award for Pop Music – Favorite Band, Duo or Group, the Black Eyed Peas performed their single from The Beginning, “The Time (Dirty Bit),” hanging out in oscillating Technicolor boxes as dancers sporting cubed headpieces head-banged below … Onetime “American Badass” Kid Rock turned in a low-key, acoustic performance of “Times Like These,” a tribute to his hometown of Detroit … Although most of the action took place during the performances, Nicki Minaj punched up Rihanna’s acceptance for Soul/ Rhythm & Blues Music – Favorite Female Artist by loudly plugging the release of her Pink Friday debut. The singer took the cheeky move in stride, gushing “Don’t we all wish we could have green hair and make it look good like Nicki?” when she took the mic and playfully patting Minaj on the behind as they headed backstage. Pint-size “Whip My Hair” singer Willow Smith, rocking a yellow-and-gray outfit, introduced her “big brother” Justin Bieber, who took to the ivories for “Pray.” Flanked by a huge choir, the teen phenom’s impassioned rendition of the ballad scored a standing ovation … When T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist Justin Bieber picked up his second award of the night, the teen superstar unexpectedly thanked a legendary entertainer for paving the way. “I wanna thank Michael Jackson, because without Michael Jackson, none of us would be here,” the Biebs said … The night closed with an epic performance from a crew of artists once known for their fan-hysteria-inducing powers. Chart-busting boy-banders New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys played a medley of some of their major hits. All nine fellas switched between BSB and NKOTB jams like “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and “Hangin’ Tough,” sporting club-ready looks and working synchronized moves. The collective closed the set with “Larger Than Life” — a move likely designed to signal that the boys are back.

I’m sorry … as fun as some of the AMAs performances was, I cannot in good conscience condone a music awards show that would name Justin Bieber as the Artist of the Year. I get the kid is popular and that fans vote for the AMAs but to name Bieber as THE artist who musically surpasses all other artists for the year is just … silly. Bieber winning the Arist of the Year award at the AMAs is no different than Bristol Palin winning Dancing with the Stars. Yes, fans should have a say in artists winning awards, but when awards that are meant to reward talent — actual talent — are given out in popularity contests, then those awards of merit really have no meaning at all.

Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino Does ‘GQ’ Magazine

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 11:19 AM PST

Jersey Shore star Mike The Situation Sorrentino is featured in the new Men of the Year issue of GQ magazine as the Sensation of the Year. In his GQ interview, The Situation explains how he always dreamed big that he would become “somebody special” … I guess, in his mind, his dreams have finally come true. Here is one of The Situation‘s GQ photos along with some excerpts from his first-ever (and quite possibly his last-ever) GQ magazine interview:

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has gone from a fist-pumping Jersey Shore dweller to GQ's "Sensation of the Year." The Situation made roughly $5 million this year from various endorsements, is a regular fixture on the red carpet, and has since been a contestant on ABC's Dancing with the Stars. And it won't stop there. This guy dreams big: "I always had dreams my whole life, of being somebody special. Someone out in the world that everybody knew of and everybody liked. Somebody unique. Even when I was down on my luck, in my head I still had those dreams." They've certainly paid off; he's even taking meetings in Hollywood. While running all over L.A., GQ's Alex Pappademas and the Situation discuss his competitive nature, trying to ditch the Jersey Shore camera crews for a hookup, and his stint as a shirtless waiter in a strip club. "He says he wasn't an actual stripper, then admits he did it once, wearing 'like, a red-white-and-blue thong and maybe, like, an Uncle Sam hat.' He quit the gig after a few months: 'I didn't mind the attention from pretty girls. But then if I got attention from unattractive girls, it just felt kind of cheap.'"

See folks, dreams can come true. If someone like The Situation can find success like this then I’m of the mind that anyone can do so as well. With the right time, right place and a whole lotta luck, even self-professed guidos can make their way into the GQ magazine Men of the Year issue. After the jump, check out one more photo from The Situation‘s GQ photospread …

I just hope The Situation is being smart about his business. This ride will not last for long, it cannot. He may think he’s “somebody special” now but we are all special in our own way … he’s just lucky that he’s being paid for his specialness. If he’s smart, he’ll put some of that $5 million away for the time when his particular brand of specialness is no longer in high enough demand for financial exploitation. If you would like to get into the head of Mr. Sorrentino, you can read the online version of his GQ interview HERE. The 2010 Men of the Year issue of GQ will hit newsstands on November 23.

Jake Gyllenhaal Busts A Move On ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 10:04 AM PST

In case you missed it, our dear Jake Gyllenhaal appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Friday to promote his upcoming new film Love and Other Drugs. But, before Jake sat down to chat with Jimmy about his film, he surprised the audience by coming on stage to perform a rap song about Sarah Palin with Jimmy Fallon. Here are a few screencaps and deets from this BRILLIANT performance of the song Gonna Eat That Talkin' Sandwich: The Sarah Palin Song:

After setting female pulses racing with his recent nude magazine covers, Jake Gyllenhaal turned his talents to rapping last night. The actor in a appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon with a boyband called The Banana Boyz. He then showed off his impressive dance moves as he joined the host in a very bizarre rap called Gonna Eat That Talkin’ Sandwich: The Sarah Palin Song. The … number was inspired by Jimmy’s rather odd claim that Sarah Palin reminds him of a BLT sandwich. And in his head-to-toe yellow outfit with a yellow bandana, Jake showed that when it comes to talent, he’s no one trick pony. But as Jake says, it all comes down to rhythm.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is exactly why Jake Gyllenhaal rules so hardcore. Fun stunts like this aren’t new for our dear Jakey poo, he is very happy to show off his fun and funny side as much as possible. This performance with Jimmy Fallon is just the latest reason why so many people heart him so. Check out video of Jake and Jimmy performing Gonna Eat That Talkin’ Sandwich: The Sarah Palin Song

I’m thinkin’ Jake and the Banana Boyz need to take this show on the road, don’t you? I’d love to see more of Jake performing inspired music like this. Can someone please make it happen? What do y’all think, fun right?

Prince William Saves A Man’s Life Hours After Getting Engaged

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 09:34 AM PST

Early last month, before Prince William proposed to longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton while on holiday in Kenya on October 20, we learned that the young prince joined the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue team and would be actively flying helicopters on search and rescue missions in the UK. Today we learn that his Royal Hotness actually saved a man’s life on one of these search and rescue missions just hours after he announced his engagement to the world last week. Here are some of the deets from Prince William‘s heroic efforts:

Prince William was involved in a helicopter rescue mission on Mount Snowdon just 48 hours after announcing his engagement to Kate Middleton, it was revealed today. The search and rescue pilot was part of a four-man crew on board an RAF Sea King which was scrambled to help walker Greg Watkins who was stuck 3,000ft (914m) up the mountain in stormy conditions. The 28-year-old Prince, who is based at RAF Valley in North Wales, was called into action at 1.30pm on Thursday after the father-of-two collapsed with chest pains. He was winched on board the helicopter before being taken to hospital in Bangor to be treated for a suspected heart attack. Mr Watkins, who was today recovering after an operation, said the actions of Flight Lieutenant Wales and his crew had saved his life. He told the Sunday Mirror: ‘If it wasn’t for him and the rest of his crew, I’d be dead. ‘Hearing his helicopter getting nearer and nearer was the best sound I’ve ever heard. He and his crew saved my life’ … The rescue mission was launched just five hours after the Prince returned to the base following his engagement … ‘I didn’t know much about what was happening at the time,’ he said. ‘I didn’t know Prince William was flying the helicopter until we landed at the hospital. Even then, I felt too unwell for it to register much. The winchman helped me out and on to a stretcher and whispered “Prince William’s just flown you here”. I looked up at him and just said ‘Oh. Tell him thank you’. ‘It didn’t really sink in until I woke up after my operation. Now I think it’s amazing. Being winched off a mountain by an RAF helicopter was the last thing I thought was going to happen to me. But for it to be flown by Prince William is unbelievable. He added: ‘I’d only been watching him announce the engagement on TV with Kate a few hours earlier – it was his first mission since going back to work. I feel lucky to be alive but even luckier to have been rescued by the future King of England. I want to tell him how grateful I am to him and the rest of his crew. He’d probably say he was just doing his job but, to me, he and his crew are heroes. The weather was appalling up on that mountain. How he managed to get the helicopter so close defies belief.’

Are you seriously kidding me right now? A real life prince, who is in line to become King one day, is actually engaged in the practice of saving lives on search and rescue missions … as his day job? This story reads like a modern day fairy tale, in a weird sort of way. The Prince of Wales is out saving lives by day, planning his royal wedding by night all while he awaits his coronation as King of the United Kingdom … and this is real life! This story is pretty cool, ain’t it?

Unseen Photos Of Lindsay Lohan As Linda Lovelace Have Been Released

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 09:02 AM PST

On Saturday we learned that Lindsay Lohan had been fired from appearing in the upcoming Matthew Wilder biopic Inferno in the lead role as porn star Linda Lovelace. Yesterday we learned that actress Malin Akerman has been cast as Lovelace in the film. Today we get to see a few previously unseen promo photos of Lindsay in character as Lovelace in a series of photographs shot by Tyler Shields. Now that she will NOT be appearing in the film, I guess Tyler decided to release the photographs to TMZ:

Lindsay Lohan won’t be playing Linda Lovelace on the big screen — so these never-before-seen “Inferno” promo pics are the last glimpse we’ll get of Lindsay channeling Linda. Celeb photographer Tyler Shields shot Lindsay back in July as part of a promotional shoot for the movie. A few pics got released … but here are a few more we just got our hands on.

I really must reiterate how happy I am that Lindsay will not be starring in this film. Considering her on-going woes with substance abuse, I cannot for the life of me see how she needs to be A.) working on a film so soon after she completes her stint in rehab and B.) working on a film where she will portray a hardcore drug abuser. I know that Lindsay is meant to portray Linda Lovelace in these photos but I cannot help but see her own fragility in these new photos. After the jump, check out a few more previously unseen promo photos of Lindsay Lohan as Linda Lovelace

As you may recall, Shields is the guy who photographed the early promo posters and promo photos for Inferno that feature Lindsay as Linda Lovelace … now that she’s out, these photos are pretty much useless to him. I know I give Lindsay grief for the things she always gets away with but the sight of her being choked in the last photo is just … too much. IMHO, getting fired from Inferno was the best thing to happen to Lindsay Lohan all year.

‘Real Housewives’ Star Kim Zolciak Is Pregs!

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 08:30 AM PST

Last month Star magazine broke the news that Kim Zolicak, star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, is pregs with her third child with Atlanta Falcons footballer Kroy Biermann. Kim‘s mother immediately denied that she was pregs … so Star magazine countered with a photo of Kim posing with a gender test for her unborn child. Today we learn from Zolciak herself that she is, indeed, pregnant with Biermann‘s child … she officially confirms her pregsness in the pages of the new issue of Life & Style magazine:

Life & Style can exclusively reveal that Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak and boyfriend Kroy Biermann are expecting their first child together! “I was surprised!” Kim, 32, tells Life & Style about the pregnancy. “While it wasn’t planned, God clearly has a bigger and better plan for us and we’re excited.” At first, Kim denied reports that she was pregnant when a jealous ex leaked the news back in October. “I was appalled and disgusted by that,” she says. “I wasn’t through my first trimester — you never know what could happen.” But now Kim is three months pregnant and ready to share the wonderful news, telling Life & Style: “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.” Kim, who has two daughters from a previous marriage, Brielle, 13, and Ariana, 9, has been dating Kroy since May – viewers saw her meet the 25-year-old Atlanta Falcons defensive end on the Nov. 14 episode of Housewives. “He makes me a better person,” says Kim. “I love everything about him.” The couple has yet to find out the sex of the baby, but boy or girl, Kim can’t wait to start a family with the football star. “I definitely don’t want to get married while I’m pregnant,” she says. “But I can see myself marrying Kroy in the future.”

To be honest, I really believe that Kim at first denied the report of her pregsness because she was not in control of the information. Her love of fame and fortune is very obvious so I’m sure it incensed her that her big news got reported without her involvement. Still, I guess I’m happy for her that she is expecting a new baby. And, as you may recall, we learned from THIS photo that Kim is carrying a baby BOY. I guess this means that her on-going dalliance with “Big Poppa” is now completely dunzo as I cannot imagine that he will continue to fund her lavish lifestyle now that she is carrying another man’s baby. I hope Kroy Biermann knows what he’s getting himself into with this baby … my gut tells me that a 25-year old professional sports athlete may not really understand what getting this involved with Kim Zolciak entails … but he’s gonna learn real quick. To be honest, I can’t wait to see how this baby news plays out in front of the cameras on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Dude, Kim is going to be a mother again … I’m having a hard time imagining her caring for a newborn child. OY!

Disney Maintains That Fairy Tales Are ‘Alive & Well’

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 07:50 AM PST

Yesterday the LA Times published a story that made it very clear that the Walt Disney Company had decided that they will no longer be making animated films based on classic fairy tale stories in lieu of focusing on making original films that will have a “wider appeal”. In the wake of public disappointment to that news, the official Disney Facebook page was updated with an official statement from Ed Catmull that maintains that fairy tales will remain “alive and well” at Disney. Catmull was quoted in the LA Times article regarding the end of Disney fairy tale films and now claims that the LA Times article is “erroneous”. Here is Catmull‘s full official statement as posted on the Disney Facebook page:

A headline in today's LA Times erroneously reported that the Disney fairy tale is a thing of the past, but I feel it is important to set the record straight that they are alive and well at Disney and continue this week with Tangled, a contemporary retelling of a much loved story. We have a number of projects in development with new twists that audiences will be able to enjoy for many years to come. – Ed Catmull

It is interesting that Catmull claims that Disney has “a number of projects in development” in this statement but was quoted as saying “we don't have any other musicals or fairy tales lined up" in the LA Times article. You will also note that this new statement only says that fairy tales are “alive and well” but doesn’t actually mention any of these new “projects in development”. To be honest, this latest message kinda feels like Catmull is trying to placate fans by recanting a bit on what he told the LA Times while not offering specifics … is he actually saying that Disney will continue to make fairy tale films or does he just mean that the spirit of Disney‘s fairy tale history will remain “alive and well”? I truly hope that Disney does NOT abandon the practice of creating animated films based on classic fairy tales. But, we won’t know what Disney will do for many years. I’ll wish upon an star and remain hopeful that Catmull‘s latest statement is true … that the fairy tale is truly “alive and well” at Disney and that they will continue to make animated films based on classic fairy tale stories.
