Watch: Britney Spears, ‘Till The World Ends’ (30 Second Clip)

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 06:30 PM PDT

Last month we saw a photos of Britney Spears on the set of her new music video for Till the World Ends and last night we saw footage from the filming of that video on the MTV documentary Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale (which you can watch in full HERE). Right now we learn that the video for TTWE will be released this Wednesday … and get this, we’re not getting just ONE music video … we’re getting TWO MUSIC VIDEOS! Check out a 30 second clip of one of the videos below.

Apparently, there will be two videos for Till the World Ends. One video, the director’s cut, will be more story-oriented and will revolve around an apocalyptic vibe (which, Larry Rudolph tells us, is also the vibe for Britney‘s upcoming concert tour show). The second video will feature more dancing, less story. I LOVE it. I can’t wait to see them both! But for now … how about a clip of what’s to come:

Wee!!! Love, Love, LOVE IT!!

Watch: Robert Pattinson Mobilizes The ‘Twilight’ Army Against ‘Breaking Dawn’ Photo Leaks

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 05:26 PM PDT

Last week, spoilery photos from the unfinished movie The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn leaked their way to the Internets and during an interview with MTV News, the subject came up and Robert Pattinson decided to comment on the photo leaks. Pattinson seemed very happy that the topic of the leaks came up because he seemed anxious to weigh in and offer his $0.02. Find out what he has to say on the matter below.

Rob is really interested in inspiring the legion of Twilight fans to help sniff out the people responsible for the leaks. It is his wish that the “good fans” find out who the “little shit” fans are that decided to leak the photos:

If the movie studio does not want Twilight fans to see the photos, then having Robert Pattinson himself say “don’t look at the photos” and the matter will be completely settled. I think it’s funny that Rob is pitting “good fans” versus “bad fans” because who can determine which is which? Honestly, the more they talk about this photo leak, the more people will want to seek out the photos. It’s prolly a better idea to not say anything at all. I’ve seen the photos and they are kinda upsetting. The sex scene photos are … just wrong. The birth scene photos are just … gross. But, now that Rob is Team No Leaks, I doubt we’ll get to see any further photo leaks from the film. Big fat Boo!

Christina Aguilera Says She And Britney Spears Are ‘Old Friends’

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 04:30 PM PDT

Christina Aguilera wants it made perfectly clear that she and alleged rival Britney Spears are, in fact, old friends. In new comments she made to Celebuzz, Xtina says that her friendship with Britney goes all the way back to their days as co-stars on the Mickey Mouse Club. So, all those years of feuding that everyone has been talking about for, like, ever appears to be nothing more than hogwash. Once and for all, Xtina wants it known that she and Britney are friends.

Don't expect Christina Aguilera to shy away from questions about her public pitfalls or alleged rivalry between Britney Spears, as she sets the record straight on her "old friend" … In a press call this morning, Christina elaborated on her recent shout out to Brit, in which she tweeted support for Femme Fetale: "At this point in the game, I think it's important to show support … especially for female artists." She went on to say the two are "old friends" going way back to their Mickey Mouse Club days.

I am SO glad that Xtina is happy to set the record straight … because now that we know that Xtina and Britney are friends … maybe they actually **might** entertain the notion of going out on tour together. Don’t get me wrong, I’d LOVE for Britney to tour with Nicki Minaj … but can you imagine what a major success it would be if Britney and Xtina toured together? That would, in all likelihood, be the BIGGEST TOUR OF ALL TIME. I’m not holding my breath, to be honest, but … at least we know that Xtina and Brit Brit are friendly. If they really are BFFs going back to their childhood days, then I don’t think it’s entirely out of the realm of possibility that they might work together professionally on … something.

Amanda Seyfried & Ryan Phillippe Enjoy A Romantic Date Night In Paris

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 03:30 PM PDT

Yesterday we saw photos of lovebirds Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe (along with third wheel Matthew McConaughey) as they made their arrival in Paris, France together. It turns out that Ryan and Matthew are in Paris to promote their new film The Lincoln Lawyer and Amanda tagged along for a romantic getaway with loverman Phillippe. Last night, the pair hit the town for a romantic date night … check out the photos below.

The couple had to stop their car so they could snap photos of the sparkling Eiffel Tower … just like regular ol’ tourists. Altho Ryan has to work some on this trip, it would seem that he is carving out a lot of free time to spend with his new lady. Paris is just so romantic … couples in love sometimes do some crazy things! I can’t wait to see what kind of fun and/or craziness Ryan and Amanda get up to in France ;)

Victoria Beckham Loses Her Cool While Parenting Her Kiddies

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 02:30 PM PDT

Victoria Beckham is ALWAYS the perfect picture of restraint and control but over the weekend at an LA Galaxy soccer match at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA, her poshness lost her cool for a split second when her children — Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James, Cruz David and BFF Ken Paves — forced her to give them a stern talking to. I mean, she was wide-eyed and pointing her finger and everything! It’s a side of Vicki B. that we don’t usually get to see.

Pregnant Victoria Beckham put her foot down at husband David's LA Galaxy match over the weekend when her sons started misbehaving. Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6, were in big trouble as they started acting up in the stands beside their no-nonsense mother. As Cruz grabbed Brooklyn's ears and yanked on them, the 36-year-old fashion designer pointed her finger and told them to cut it out and pay attention to their father's football match. Her rant came as she admitted that being a mother is the most difficult job she has ever taken on. The former Spice Girl said in a pre-recorded interview broadcast on Heart FM that parenting is 'the hardest job in the world'. But she managed to keep her sons under control at the match, and Brookyn and Romeo ended up belting out America's national anthem once they had calmed down. But their glamorous mother didn't seem to be in the mood for a singsong. She kept her hands in her jacket pockets and didn't join in.

LOL! Every single mother on Earth is forced to, at one point or another, whip out her finger, bug out her eyes and scold her children … so this isn’t at all a unique situation. But, it is the first time that I have seen Vicki B. look so … normal and motherly. I am so used to seeing VB lookin’ all glum and expressionless that this flash of emotion is just brilliant. See, VB is capable of more than just 2 emotions. This is a side of Posh that I would love to see more of.

Movie Review: ‘Source Code’

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 01:49 PM PDT

After our fun-filled day by the beach, Darion, his mom, David and I made our way to the AMC Theater at Century City to see Source Code. Now, I’ve had mixed feelings about the film from the very first time I saw the trailer a few months ago. On the one hand, the trailer didn’t make the film look all that good … on other hand, well, Jake Gyllenhaal is in it so …. you can see how I was torn. When I learned that Duncan Jones (David Bowie‘s son) directed it, I was sold. Overall, I liked Source Code very much … tho, for me, the ending left much to be desired.

I’ve heard some people say that Source Code reminds them of Inception and while I can see how some people can make that connection, I totally do not think the movies are all that similar. The storylines are totally different and there really isn’t all that much overlap thematically. In Source Code, we are are taken on a journey that tries to make us understand the concept of alternate realities and for the most part, I was on board with what the movie was trying to say … but the ending, I’m sorry, no I just didn’t buy it. I’ve watched my fair share of sci-fi programming that has given me a “working knowledge” of time travel, alternate realities, other dimensions etc. (and by “working knowledge” I mean, I’ve come to believe in a set of fictional rules that seem feasible to me if time travel, alternate realities, etc. actually existed). The ending of Source Code just did not work for me in the framework of my “working knowledge” of sci-fi temporal travel so … yeah, no, I didn’t like the ending. The rest of the movie, tho, I thought was inventive and entertaining. As much as I love Jakey poo, I felt he overacted a bit in some scenes but not enough to turn me off entirely. The support cast was fine but they were like background wallpaper … none of them really added anything to the story that stood out for me. I wish Source Code wasn’t a PG-13 film because the action felt a bit watered down. But, again, the inventiveness of the story, the twists and turns and overall plotline really entertained me. I don’t expect this film will do gangbusters at the box office but it’s worth seeing. If you miss it in theaters, you’ll be just fine seeing it on DVD or on cable.

Did any of y’all see Source Code this weekend? What did you think?

A Perfect Day In LA

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 01:02 PM PDT

David and I got to spend the entire day hanging out with Darion and his mom Janai after spending the night before celebrating her birthday with all of Darion’s friends. As much fun as we had Saturday night, I much preferred the one-on-one time we got to spend with Mama Lowenstein yesterday. We met up in Santa Monica, CA for a late brunch and then did some playing on the Santa Monica Pier before calling it a day. We had a blast.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous so it truly was the perfect day here in LA. The sun was shining brightly, the breeze was blowing coolly … the weather was just perfect. I wanted to take Darion and his mom to the pier because I wanted to get them in the photobooth at the Playland Arcade. I know Darion’s mom always has her bag of tricks with her so with props in hand (and on face) we went crazy in the photobooth:

We had too much fun. Darion’s mom only visits a couple times a year so we have to enjoy her while we can … this trip was a great infusion of her amazing energy but, yeah, I’m already anxious for her to come back for another SoCal visit.

It’s Monday. Blah. Happy New Week, tho!!

Watch: ‘Britney Spears: I Am The Femme Fatale’ In FULL

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 11:43 AM PDT

Last night MTV aired the documentary special Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale which gave viewers an inside look at Britney in the studio, Britney at home, Britney enjoying a bit of downtime with her BFF assistant Brett Miller and Britney on the performance stage. Inter-cut with the “day in the life” footage of our dear Britney, she was also featured answering questions for MTV interviewer Sway. In case you missed it or just want to watch it again, you can watch I Am the Femme Fatale IN FULL below.

It should come as no surprise that I LOVED the special entirely. While it may not have been as in-depth as I would’ve liked, we did get to see a lot of great behind-the-scenes footage of Britney in the studio with will.i.am (which felt staged, to be honest) and on the set of her upcoming new video for Till the World Ends. Here is the full 30-minute video of Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale:

You can see that Britney is much looser in rehearsals than she was on stage … but she needs to warm up and get back into the swing of things. She will be amazing on tour this Summer, I just know it. I Am the Femme Fatale was a fun little MTV special. I really enjoyed it, did you?

Courteney Cox Continues To Enjoy A Family Vacay With Co-Star Josh Hopkins

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 11:22 AM PDT

Last Friday we saw a few photos of Cougar Town co-stars Courteney Cox and Josh Hopkins frolicking together in the ocean as they holidayed together with friends in St. Barts (you may recall the couple frolicked so hard that their clothes came off in the water). Today we get to see new, supercute photos of Court and Josh at the beach again … but this time, Courteney‘s daughter Coco Riley got in on the fun. I don’t know about you, but these 3 look like a very happy family.

Courteney Cox might insist that she's just good friends with her hunky co-star Josh Hopkins, but he seems happy to play the father figure to her daughter. The Cougar Town friends have been holidaying in the Caribbean island of St Barts and Josh was having a great time with Coco in the surf. Courteney's six-year-old daughter was practising some beach gymnast moves in the water with the actor alongside her mother. The youngster, who dressed in a rainbow-striped bikini, leapt into his hands to be lifted over his head before diving back into the ocean. The trio frolicked in the turquoise sea for hours before Coco accompanied Josh onto the sand to demolish some sandcastles. The former Friends actress, 46, flaunted her fabulous figure in a tiny black string bikini, while 40-year-old Josh also showed off his toned torso in bright green swimming trunks.

I mean yes, of course, adults can spend time together like this as friends but … they really do look like a happy family. I know that Courteney still loves her estranged husband David Arquette very much but she hasn’t looked this happy in ages. Coco seems to have really taken a shine to Josh so … I guess we’ll see what happens. These photos are cute, y’all. It would seem that everyone is having a great time on this vacation together ;)

Josh Hutcherson & Liam Hemsworth Nab The Male Leads In ‘The Hunger Games’

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 11:05 AM PDT

Last month we learned that actress Jennifer Lawrence won the coveted role of Katniss Everdeen in the big screen adaptation of The Hunger Games and it was widely rumored that Weeds star Hunter Parrish would get the male lead role as Peeta Meelark. Today we learn that Hunter did NOT get the role (boo!) because Josh Hutcherson (The Kids are Alright) has been cast as Peeta and Liam Hemsworth (The Last Song) has been cast as Gale Hawthorne.

Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth have joined the cast of Hunger Games in the roles of Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthorne, respectively, Lionsgate announced today in a release. Both actors will star opposite Jennifer Lawrence, who will play Katniss Everdeen, the heroine who volunteers to represent her remote district in the brutal annual survival test. Hutcherson, for one, has long thought he was right for the part … The Hunger Games, based on Suzanne Collins' best-selling trilogy, will be directed by Gary Ross and released by Lionsgate on March 23, 2012.

Blah! I had my heart SO SET on Hunter as Peeta that this news is actually a big bum out for me. Nothing against Josh, he was really fantastic in The Kids are Alright, but he is not what I envision Peeta to look like. Actually, I’d rather the roles be reversed and Liam play Peeta and Josh play Gale. Blargh! But, it’s done … the roles have been cast and there is no turning back. I am SO in love with The Hunger Games trilogy so I am very much looking forward to the movie adaptations. I pray they get it right. Thankfully, because I started reading the books before the casting was announced, the characters live in my mind NOT as these actors … which I think is a good thing. I’m curious about the casting of the other characters but … boo … I’m bummed that Hunter won’t be in the films :(

A New Beyoncé Album Is Reportedly Due Out This Summer

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 10:02 AM PDT

Hold on to your hats, Beyoncé fans!! According to a new report out this week, it is rumored that Beyoncé will release a new album this Summer … as early as June! You may recall that we learned last week that B decided to fire her father Matthew Knowles as her manager so it seems like she had a bit of housecleaning to do before she releases her next blockbuster album. Now, this album news has NOT yet been officially confirmed … but the timing feels right for a new Beyoncé album.

Beyoncé Knowles will release her fourth solo album in late June this year. The singer unveiled six tracks from her latest studio album to label bosses in New York last week, and is believed to have received a rapturous response. “It was just amazing,” Sony Music Australia boss Denis Handlin told The Daily Telegraph. “These songs, the best description I can give is groundbreaking. “She’s gone to another level,” Handlin added. Last week it was announced that Knowles had ended her professional relationship with her father, Mathew Knowles, who has managed the singer’s career for 14 years. The currently untitled album will be released in time for Beyoncé’s headlining slot at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Woot!! This is great news. Beyoncé always brings the heat … and we are LONG overdue for a new B jam to take over the planet. I don’t want to get my hopes up too high before this news is confirmed but … how fantastic would it be to get a new album from Ms. Beyoncé this Summer? Bring it on, B!

‘Glee’ Creator Ryan Murphy Kinda Apologizes For Calling Kings Of Leon ‘Assholes’

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 08:51 AM PDT

Remember back in January when Glee creator Ryan Murphy boldly exclaimed “Fuck You … Assholes” at the band Kings of Leon for their unwillingness to let Glee use one of their songs on their show? Remember how much of a douche that made Ryan Murphy look? Well, it would seem that Murphy has finally realized that it prolly wasn’t the wisest thing to launch such a vicious verbal attack against a band merely because they did not want their music to be used on a TV show and he is expressing regret for his actions. It’s not really an apology … but it deffo is a mea culpa so … that’s progress?

The Ryan Murphy-Kings of Leon feud has taken on a life of its own since The Hollywood Reporter first reported the Glee creator’s comments in a January cover story. Now, Murphy tells THR, he wishes he’d expressed himself differently. Specifically, the part where he told the band, “Fuck you” and called KOL’s Followill brothers “self-centered assholes.” “I didn’t speak with as much clarity as I would have liked,” he said on the set of Glee Friday afternoon. “Who am I to say ‘Fuck you?’ That’s not what I meant. I completely understand when artists don’t want a show or another artist to interpret their songs. In fact, I respect it. It’s their personal work and I’d feel the same way. We get turned down all the time and I’ve don’t fight it or even go back after a rejection.” Murphy points to a recent request to use a song by Bjork in the show, which the Icelandic singer turned down. “She read the scene and didn’t think it was the right fit for her song,” he recounts. “I told her, ‘That’s completely cool,’ and she said to come back to her down the road. We deal with that every day.” Last month, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl also spoke out about the matter, siding with fellow rockers KOL, whom Murphy chided for “missing the big picture: that a 7-year-old kid can see someone close to their age singing a Kings of Leon song, which will maybe make them want to join a glee club or pick up a musical instrument.” Said Grohl: “It’s every band’s right… Fuck that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee.” Grohl’s words seem to have stung Murphy, an admitted Foo Fighters fan. “I’ve never felt that if you don’t give Glee your music, there’s something diabolical about you,” says Murphy. “To the contrary: I support artists and what they choose to do… I think Kings of Leon are cool as shit. The Foo Fighters are brilliant. We’d love to do one if their songs, if they were ever interested. But if it’s not their thing, then OK. I personally wish them luck will still listen to their music.” Lesson learned? “Don’t say fuck you to someone in the press,” Murphy cracks.

In all honesty, I don’t know how much I believe that Murphy is genuinely sorry for what he said but I absolutely believe he regrets what he said publicly. It seems to me, IMHO, that Ryan Murphy has gotten way too big for his britches with all the success that Glee has enjoyed in the past few years. I find it funny that even his compliment (Kings of Leon are cool as shit) has to use derogatory profanity in a positive way. It seems to me that Ryan Murphy is just trying to put the feud he started to bed once and for all. I can’t help but feel that Murphy‘s attack on KoL is more personal than anything else. Why didn’t Murphy feel compelled to call Björk an “asshole” for not allowing Glee to record one of her songs … which is exactly what KoL did? But, I suppose none of that matters. I guess we can kinda take this mea culpa as an apology and move on. To me, Murphy still strikes me as a douche but at least he seems to be aware of his douchiness … and that is the first step towards douche recovery.

Watch: New ‘ThunderCats’ Footage Is Screened At WonderCon 2011

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 08:13 AM PDT

On Saturday we got to see some fantastic new footage, screened at WonderCon 2011 in San Francisco, from the upcoming superhero film Green Lantern and today we get to see new footage from the upcoming animated series reboot of ThunderCats. As you may recall, in late February we got to check out the first ThunderCats trailer … but this new footage, also unveiled at WonderCon this weekend, gives a better look at what to expect from the new series. Check out the video below.

I know I had my doubts initially but I am deffo warming up to the new anime style of the series … and I am loving the serious tone of the show. The villain Mumm-Ra looks really cool so, yeah, I’m even more excited then I was when we saw the first trailer a couple of months ago. This new footage looks so great, don’tcha think?

Britney Spears & Sons See ‘The Lion King’ In Las Vegas

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 07:47 AM PDT

Britney Spears and family made their way to Las Vegas, NV for the second weekend in a row in order to get in a little rest and relaxation. A week ago, Britney made her way to LV to put on a couple of promo concerts in celebration of the release of her new album Femme Fatale. This weekend, she and her boys made it a mini vacation. Britney took her sons to see The Lion King at Mandalay Bay and posed for a couple photos with members of the cast afterward. Check out those photos below.

I understand Britney and her sons Sean Preston & Jayden James attended a matinee performance and were THRILLED to meet actors Kissy Simmons (who plays Nala), Niles Rivers (who plays Simba), Derrick Williams (who plays Mufasa) and Ntsepa Pitjeng (who plays Rafiki). The Lion King is one of my favorite shows so I know that Britney and her boys had a blast! They all look so cute and so happy … I’m thrilled they had a great time together.

People magazine reports that Britney, her sons and boyfriend Jason Trawick were spotted elsewhere in Vegas enjoying a nice family dinner together:

For the second week in a row, Britney Spears headed to Sin City. One week after taking the stage at Rain Nightclub, Spears returned to Las Vegas’s Palms Casino Resort along with beau Jason Trawick and her two boys. The four grabbed a casual dinner in the private dining room at Nove Italiano, where the kids enjoyed a mozzarella pizza, which was waiting for them as they arrived. Meanwhile, Spears drank a Sprite and ate halibut. According to a source, “Britney was very quiet … but her kids were very nice and looked great.”

LOVE IT!! Britney has been so bizzy lately and she will be much bizzier as Summer approaches with he new concert tour on the horizon. I’m happy to see Britney take a bit of time to just enjoy time with her sons and her boyfriend. Very soon she will not have time for this kind of relaxation so … good for her. Sounds like she had a great weekend ;)

Reese Witherspoon & Jim Toth Share Their Wedding Photos With ‘People’ & ‘Hello!’ Magazines

Posted: 04 Apr 2011 07:16 AM PDT

A week ago we learned that actress Reese Witherspoon and her finacée Jim Toth got themselves married in a beautiful wedding ceremony in Ojai, CA. This past week we got our first look at newlywed Reese rockin’ her shiny new wedding bling and today we get our FIRST LOOK at Reese‘s wedding photos. Reese sold her photos to People magazine here in the US and Hello! magazine in Europe. Check out her new magazine covers and some deets from her special night.

From People magazine: Reese Witherspoon’s country-elegant March 26 wedding to Pennsylvania native Jim Toth, 40, mixed her Southern roots with inspiration from her 1920s ranch estate. “Timeless California architecture, rustic materials and beautiful gardens,” says a pal, gave the actress the perfect storybook setting for her special day in Ojai, Calif. Wearing a custom-designed Monique Lhuillier blush-hued gown with a Chantilly lace corset bodice and full tulle A-line skirt, Witherspoon, 35, “wowed,” says a guest. “She took your breath away.” The gown was adorned with a double-face silk satin ribbon with cascading silk flowers, which matched the dress of Witherspoon’s daughter Ava, 11, who served as maid of honor in her own custom Lhuillier. he bride changed into a second Lhuillier design – a white silk minidress with a party skirt – for the reception. “There was a real family feel,” a guest tells PEOPLE. “There was so much joy in the room and a lot of laughter,” adds another.

From Hello! magazine: In a magical ceremony just before sunset at her secluded Californian ranch, Reese Witherspoon got her very own happy Hollywood ending on March 26. And this week’s HELLO! exclusively features beautiful pictures from the star’s elegant, but relaxed wedding to her very own leading man, super agent Jim Toth, who manages A-listers like Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson and Tobey Maguire. Clad in a custom-made Monique Lhuillier blush-hued gown with a corset bodice and full A-line skirt, the bride was radiant as she exchanged vows with 40-year-old Jim. It was the family affair the Oscar winner has alwayed dreamed of. The Walk The Line star’s 11-year-old daughter Ava served as maid of honour, also looking pretty in a Monique Lhuillier dress. Meanwhile, her seven-year-old son Deacon was ringbearer, walking the aisle in a three-piece suit similar to that worn by his stepfather. The ranch, a place where the family often spend quality time together, provided a rustic yet romantic backdrop to the wonderful occasion. Guests, including Gwyneth Paltrow, her fellow Iron Man star Robert, Kate Hudson and Renee Zellweger, mingled in a tent decked with chandeliers fashioned from reclaimed wood and hundreds of jars with twinkling candles inside. With 80 white doves released moments after the pair said: “I do”, it was a wedding their showbiz friends wouldn’t forget.

You know, I thought I was gonna hate the light pink wedding dress but I kinda don’t. It’s very pretty, very elegant. I much prefer the People cover to the Hello! cover. The photo of Jim gently kissing his new bride on the head is just adorable. If you would like to see more photos from Reese and Jim‘s wedding (including fun photos from the wedding reception), you can do so in the pages of these new magazines! Let’s send our love and congrats to Reese and Jim one more time. They make a very lovely couple and I truly wish them a long happily ever after.
