That’s really the only rational explanation we could think of for this random ridiculousness.

Almost 20 years after her husband’s infamous Supreme Court confirmation hearings, Virginia Thomas wants Anita Hill to apologize for telling the world Clarence was a pube-planting, porn-quoting perv.

And she asked for her apology on tape.

Virginia Thomas, the justice’s wife, has rekindled the controversy by leaving a voice mail message at Hill’s Brandeis University office seeking an apology.

“Good morning Anita Hill, it’s Ginni Thomas,” said the message left earlier this month, according to a transcript provided by ABC News. “I just want to reach across the airwaves and the years and ask you to consider something. I would love you to consider an apology sometimes and some full explanation of why you did what you did with my husband.”

“I certainly thought the call was inappropriate,” Hill, who worked for Clarence Thomas at the Department of Education and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commissions, said in a statement released to the Associated Press.

“I have no intention of apologizing because I testified truthfully about my experience and I stand by that testimony,” she added.

Hill, a Brandeis professor, told reporters that she held onto the message for nearly a week as she weighed whether it was legitimate. Eventually, she turned it over to campus police with a request that it be sent to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The FBI’s Boston field office declined comment.

We say there was liquor involved. We can see a whole sitcom-style scene in which Ginni pours a glass of Chardonnay, trying to live a more Bravo Housewife lifestyle, finds Anita’s card, calls and leaves a message and then tries frantically to delete said message, hanging up when Clarence walks into the room. However, Clarence’s ex Lillian McEwen says Jesus made Ginni do it.

“In his autobiography, Clarence described himself as a person incapable of doing what Anita Hill said he did,” McEwen said in an interview. “He is married to a woman who is loyal to him and religious in a way he would like to be. This combination of religiosity and loyalty and belief that he is really the kind of person who he describes in his book would just about compel her to do something like that.”

We like our explanation much better.

As sad and concerned as most Yankees fans might be this morning, last night’s game wasn’t without it’s share of laughs in restrospect.

Nutjob Grim LaRogue, who lists his job on Facebook as “prophet” and claims to have majored in alcohol, mixtapes and wandering evolution from the “University of Thrown Out of Home,” stormed the field at Yankee Stadium last night to fight for his imaginary girlfriend.

An unhinged fan with a crush on Cameron Diaz ran onto the Yankee Stadium field during Monday night’s game to confront A-Rod about his love for the stunning starlet, sources said.

But Grim LeRogue, 33, was tackled by Stadium security as he attempted to rush the third baseman in the top of the fifth inning in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series, cops said.

At this point you might be asking why we’re calling him crazy. This could’ve just been driven by bonehead friends and alcohol, right? Keep reading.

Tucked in LeRogue’s pocket, police found a picture of Alex Rodriguez with his face crossed out and a drawing of a small gun pointed at his head, a source said. Etched on the photo were the words, “You gotta go, buddy.”

“He was absolutely out of his f—–g mind,” said the source, adding that LeRogue was rambling the entire time he was in custody.

“I think it’s publicity for his book,” said his mother, Catherine Rogan. “I’m sure he’s fine,” she said of his condition.

Last night, Kanye West put his mind on display for the world to see at the L.A. premiere of his self directed film “RUNAWAY”. Bossip was in the building for the private screening and film was everything but boring. We have to admit there were a couple of scenes when we felt like saying “WHAT THE HELL ???” but with the music from Kanye’s upcoming album narrating the film… it help connect those lost moments.

We’re not surprised to hear that someone decided not to embrace Kanye’s vision…which is normal and Yeezy himself was completely fine with it until the writer from the LA Times f*cked up the title of his new album.

“I would’ve taking offense 2 the LA Times review of the movie but the extremely condescending writer accidentally complimented my suit! Thx I believe the writers name was Kriss Lee who so bent on giving a soulless description of my work that he decided to call the album…

….not even by the write name… ironically but I feel more strategically removing the word ‘Beautiful’ from the title! Wooooooooooooow! I assumed a respected media source like the Los Angeles Times would send a writer that would at least have the respect to call the album..

We don’t know if we would say this out loud, but an up-and-coming rapper out of Mississippi is claiming responsibility for both Trina’s latest fashion faux pas and her latest misguided single. Problem is, she also claims Trina‘s not giving credit where it’s due.

Miz Smurff felt so strongly about this violation of her talent, that she took her impression of the Mad Rapper to Twitter.

We don’t really hear it. A fan of both *clears throat* “ladies” tells us that Trina’s single was originally called something else. K-Ci & JoJo Claim Crack Was Never Their Problem, They Just Hit The Bottle REALLY Hard

K-Ci and JoJo take their turn on reality television tonight with the premiere of their new TV One reality series, K-Ci & JoJo…Come Clean. The nine episode series offers viewers an unvarnished glimpse into the journey of the R&B superstars as they fight their shared demon, alcoholism, in an attempt to save their lives and careers.

R&B legend Charlie Wilson; actress and celebrity lifestylist A.J. Johnson; recording industry mogul André Harrell, and their Jodeci bandmate, Devante Swing will also make appearances throughout the series. The series premieres Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 9 PM and 9:30 PM ET in two back-to-back episodes.

After learning about the show we were excited to hear about the brothers getting off rocks and jumped at the chance to interview them. The last thing we expected was for both brothers to deny using cocaine and to reveal that it has been alcohol that has taken such a toll on them, but that’s exactly what they said. Check out our interview below:

BOSSIP: Watching the teaser, we noticed that a lot of the promotion focuses on alcoholism. Since the public perception has always been that there was substance abuse, or some type of drug abuse, was alcoholism the worst of your substance abuse?

JoJo: No No No. Stop right there, I don’t want to cut you off, but I have to stop you right there. There was never no drugs, okay? Ok, whatever you want to call it, marijuana yeah okay, but other than that drugs like cocaine and all that, no that never came to into play. Alcohol was my choice of drug, because that's a powerful drug too, so we're just going to focus on that and let people know, we are not the only ones. If you were to dissect the whole industry you'd be surprised.

TV One Producer: When you watch the program you will see that part of the treatment is a medical treatment that is supervised by doctors.

Bossip: That's what we wondered when we saw the promo video. What kind of medical treatment was JoJo getting done in that?

Damon (K-Ci and Jojo’s manager): Accelerated detox. To answer your other question, that's why we wanted to be so open, to show people what they came up positive for and what they came up negative for. In order to do the treatment they had to know what was being taken so they had to be tested. All that will come out on the show.

Because you're skinny, or looking a certain way, people definitely assume you’re doing something, so we definitely wanted to set that straight on the show. We definitely addressed it and let people see what it was. They wouldn’t have been eligible if it was something other than that.

K-Ci: In the black community, if you're skinny, they automatically say you're doing something. If you look back I've always been skinny. But for some reason when I get on that stage I think I'm something. I know I don't have no muscles.
