More Photos From ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ Episode Of ‘Glee’ Have Surfaced

Posted: 19 Oct 2010 02:18 PM PDT

Earlier today we got to check out the full performance of Time Warp from the upcoming Rocky Horror Picture Show episode of Glee, that will air on Fox next Tuesday night, and right now we get to see a whole new batch of promo photos from that ep:

While the first batch of promo photos from this ep, the ones we got to see last week, were pretty cool, I think this new batch is even better. Check ‘em out, after the jump …

They are really pimpin’ out this episode … will it be the most popular Glee episode yet? I guess we’ll have to wait until next week to find out.

‘Tron: Legacy’ Pays Homage To ‘Tron’ In Its Latest Poster Artwork

Posted: 19 Oct 2010 02:04 PM PDT

Tron: Legacy, the sequel film due out later, has just released a new poster which pays homage to the classic 1980 movie poster of the original Tron movie. Here is what the original poster of Tron looks like next to the new, updated poster for Tron: Legacy:

I love it!! I cannot wait to see this film. I’m really curious to see how Tron: Legacy stays true to the original awesomeness of Tron while offering some new awesomeness of its own. Thus far, I’ve been very impressed with all the promo stuff we’ve seen … I can’t wait to see more.

Is Samantha Ronson To Blame For Christina Aguilera’s Divorce From Jordan Bratman?

Posted: 19 Oct 2010 01:55 PM PDT

It’s been a week since we first learned that the marriage between Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman is dunzo and in that time rumors have been flying around over what was the cause of the split. One particularly popular rumor is that Xtina‘s marriage to Jordy couldn’t survive her alleged cheating … particularly with other women. Of course, none of those rumors have been confirmed … so it’s all pretty much hearsay. Today, a new report from the TMZ offshoot website TooFab is claiming that Xtina‘s close relationship (whatever that means) with Samantha Ronson is at least partly to blame for the divorce … because Jordan was jealous of Sam:

Following Christina Aguilera's Oct. 14 divorce filing from music producer Jordan Bratman, 33, speculation has run rampant as to what led to the split. It seems that a major factor was the 29-year-old singer's increasingly close, emotional friendship with deejay (and Lindsay Lohan's ex) Samantha Ronson, 33, a source tells TooFab. "Christina's been friends with Sam for a while, like they all went to Cabo in September with Nicole Richie, but they were hanging out a lot more in recent months, and they created a new posse of girls that Christina hung out with, so it started to be really frustrating for Jordan, that she had this relationship with these girls, but particularly this close one with Sam," the source tells TooFab. "Jordan was feeling less than a man. It seemed like she was more interested in hanging out with Sam than him. This had been going on for several months." As an aside, the source tells TooFab that Ronson's ex, Lindsay Lohan, was also unnerved by her relationship with Aguilera, 29. "It caused a lot of problems with Lohan and Sam. Before [Lohan] went into rehab, she was really frustrated with her relationship with Sam because of the Aguilera thing. She was extremely jealous."

I find it a bit puzzling that people are so quick to assume that something romantic is going on between Xtina and Sam just because they like to hang out. The implication is that just because Samantha is gay then every woman she hangs out with she must be sexually involved with? No. I’m not saying that there is nothing romantic going on between them, I’m just saying that the assumptions being made are totally ridiculous. In the end, whatever relationship Xtina has with Samantha is beside the point. Xtina and Jordy‘s relationship fell apart because of their own personal issues. Whether or not Xtina and Sam are good friends or goooood friends is nobody’s business but their own. And let’s remember, these rumors and reports are all based on nameless sources … all of it should be taken with a huge grain of salt.

Mariah Carey Films An Episode Of ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’

Posted: 19 Oct 2010 01:38 PM PDT

Mariah Carey updated her official Twitter profile yesterday and today to announce that she filmed an appearance on an upcoming episode of the ABC reality TV series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. According to Mimi‘s tweets, the ep will air in December and will be appropriately holiday-themed (which works well with the fact that she will be releasing a new holiday album a few weeks before the ep airs). Here is the photo that Mariah shared along with her accompanying tweets:

So amazing down here@ Baker HS w/Extreme Home makeover! Loving Ty,Micheal,Tracy,Johnny-all the kids@the school+the Gaston family! / Show airs Dec.12th-they r in for a HUGE suprise! Don’t miss it-verrrry festive! Absent the great promo this appearance on the show will do for her Xmas album, I think it’s fantastic that Mariah Carey chose to work with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to help bring some much-needed holiday cheer to one deserving family. It’s unclear what Mariah‘s role on the show will be but I’ll be tuning in just in case she decides to perform. I can’t wait to see what the folks at Extreme Makeover have in store for the Gaston family.

Guy Ritchie, Robert Downey, Jr. & Jude Law Take In A UFC Fight

Posted: 19 Oct 2010 01:18 PM PDT

Yesterday we got our first look at Guy Ritchie, Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law on the London set of Sherlock Holmes 2 (which began principal filming production this week) and today we get to check out a couple photos of the BFFs sitting ringside at an Ultimate Fighting Championship boxing match at the O2 Arena in London last weekend:

Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law and director Guy Ritchie were front and center Saturday night at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Fight Night at O2 Arena on in London, England. RadarOnline.com has pictures of the Sherlock Holmes pack in action. The trio are in London shooting a sequel to last year’s blockbuster movie, Sherlock Holmes. The as-yet-untitled new film will be released late 2011. Downey, Law and Madonna’s ex were on hand to watch the fight of the night between Michael Bisping and Yoshihiro Akiyama.

OMG … here we go again. When these three amigos filmed the first Sherlock Holmes film back in late 2008, they sparked up a three-way bromance that took place off the set and in the public eye. The guys were practically inseparable for the duration of filming … it would appear that they are planning to do the same this time around. I can’t even think of a more “guy” thing to do than to attend an fighting match together … you can almost smell the testosterone. I can’t wait to see where they show up next.

Game Over

Posted: 19 Oct 2010 12:52 PM PDT

Thank the Sweet Baby Jebus … I finished my game! For the past couple of weeks, I have been horribly distracted with the video game Pokémon SoulSilver for the Nintendo DS. A good friend from way back in the day back in Detroit inspired me to play the newest Pokémon game (well, the newest game released here in the US, Japan has an even newer game right now) since it is an updated version of the game that we were obsessed with back in 2000 … and, naturally, I got obsessed all over again (which is exactly why I won’t have a video game system set up on our TV cuz, well, you’d never hear from me again). I am happy to report that I FINALLY finished the game … by successfully battling and defeating the original Pokémon hero Ash:

There are 2 endings of this damn game … and then there is still more game-play to be had. But, I got it all done … at last.

So naturally, I started playing the next most recent game, Pokémon Platinum. You know what … I need help. And I promise, I’m gonna get help … as soon as I finish this new game. I swear.

Tonight, I’m having dinner with a good friend from Detroit who is now living in San Francisco, CA and is visiting LA for the week. I haven’t seen her in ages, so I’m really excited. Happy Tuesday, y’all!!

The Cast Of ‘Glee’ Does ‘GQ’ Magazine

Posted: 19 Oct 2010 11:05 AM PDT

Glee castmates Dianna Agron, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of GQ magazine. As you my recall, earlier today we got to see these 3 Glee actors in the full performance video of Time Warp from next week’s episode devoted to the music of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but right now we get to see their racy new magazine spread in the new issue of GQ. Here is the Glee coverphoto and some excerpts from the coverstory article:

Glee, the sing-along comedy about high school theater geeks has quickly become the most popular show on television. Now, in it's second season, the gay-positive, anti-stereotyping, song-and-dance TV sensation has spawned hit soundtrack albums, a sold-out concert tour, a Golden Globe award, and a passionate fan base of self-professed "Gleeks," propelling the cast further into stardom with every episode. GQ's Alex Pappademas sits down with stars Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith, and Lea Michele to discuss their relationships with their characters, cast mates, the racy GQ photo shoot, and the "no-trailer-sex" rule on set:

Lea Michele on people's insisting she get a nose job:
"I was one of the only girls in my high school that didn't get one. And if anybody needed it, I probably did. But my mom always told me, growing up, 'Barbra Streisand didn't get a nose job. You're not getting a nose job.' And I didn't. Fuck those people. That's why I'm proud to be on a positive show and to be a voice for girls and say, 'You don't need to look like everybody else. Love who you are.'"

…on why the camaraderie among the show's cast needs to last:
"Someone from [another] television show came up to us at an event and said that and I got offended. Our show won't still be running in season three if we're not feeling that way, because then we won't be real, and people will see it. So let's hope that everything stays that way. Because I need this. I need this family!"

…on the GQ photo shoot for this story:
"I don't know how they got me to do half the stuff I did. But I was in really good shape this summer, so…"

Dianna Agron on the shoot and rumors that she and Michele are real life lovers:
"When it was just Lea and me, I was like, 'We're in skimpy clothes, we're up against each other. This is feeding those rumors.' I've never been shot in so little clothing."

…on being the pregnant Cheerleader on Glee:
"I remember Ryan saying, 'You're about to get pregnant.' And I thought, 'Bring it on.' When they put the pregnancy pad under my cheerleading outfit, I was walking around the set, and people were like, 'Only on Glee!'"

Cory Monteith on growing up in Canada and dropping out of high school:
"You have to really look to get into trouble in Victoria, but I was industrious. Skipping school. Drinking. All that kind of crap. Things started off innocent like that. I definitely found myself in some places that I'm very fortunate I came back from…. The last thing I want to do is kind of imply to readers in high school that you too can drop out and be an actor and get on a big show and be -famous and make a shitload of money."

…on Ryan Murphy's "no-trailer-sex" rule:
"The first I heard about that was in the media. I was like, 'Oh, really? Dammit!"

…on what really goes on inside those trailer:
"They all, like, hang out. 'This sounds really cliché, but it's true—it's the high school experience I always wanted. Where we're all growing into this new life together and figuring it all out as we go. I remember I'd come home from fifth, sixth grade, and I'd watch Saved by the Bell and be like, 'I hope my high school experience is like that.' And it totally wasn't. It sucked.'"

The rest of the online version of this coverstory article can be read HERE. After the jump, check out a batch of photos from the accompanying photospread. The photos were shot by photographer Terry Richardson and they are, as you can imagine, very Terry Richardson-esque …

Wow. Lea Michele ain’t shy, is she? It looks like the Glee kids — well, the girls at least — are lookin’ to shed their wholesome images for this racy GQ spread. What I don’t get is why the Dianna and Lea have to strip down (Lea to their panties) while Cory remains fully clothed … with layers of clothing, actually. I suppose when you hire Terry Richardson for a photoshoot, it’s to be expected that the women will be exploited a bit more than any guys featured in his photos. I mean, the photos are hot … but there’s something about the way the girls are portrayed next to the fully clothed guy that kinda rub me the wrong way. What do y’all think?

The City Of Stonnington In Australia Bans Ed Hardy Clothing

Posted: 19 Oct 2010 10:37 AM PDT

Taking a cue from some nightclubs around the world, the city of Stonnington in the South East Melbourne region of Australia has decided to BAN all use of Ed Hardy clothing within their city limits. Here is the message that was posted by Stonnington officials on the window of a shut down Ed Hardy boutique in town:

I have no words … except to say, Bravo! I mean … this is just too awesome for words. I think I might have to pack my bags and move my ass to Stonnington. Woot!

‘Happy Days’ TV Dad Tom Bosley Passes Away At 83

Posted: 19 Oct 2010 10:23 AM PDT

Very sad news to pass along today … TMZ is reporting that Happy Days TV dad Tom Bosley has passed away at the age of 83:

Tom Bosley — who famously played Mr. Cunningham on “Happy Days” — has died at his home in Palm Springs … TMZ has learned. Family members tell us Bosley had been battling a staph infection. He was 83 years old.

As you can see, the TMZ report is very light on details … still, the news is very, very sad. As you may recall, TV mom Barbara Billingsley who starred on Leave It To Beaver passed away at her home in Santa Monica, CA over the weekend … I guess it’s lookin’ like a bad week for TV parents :( Happy Days was one of the many sitcoms that I watched over and over and over again in reruns when I was very little. When I would get sick and stay home from school I would get to watch Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Alice, One Day at a Time, Mork & Mindy and other like sitcoms … those were the good ol’ days of classic TV. Tom Bosley played a great TV dad in Howard Cunningham (or as Fonzie would call him, Mr. C) and he will be sorely missed. Let’s send our love and condolences to the Bosley family today.

Willow Smith Is Ready For Her Close-Up

Posted: 19 Oct 2010 09:58 AM PDT

Yesterday we got our first look at Willow Smith‘s FABULOUS new music video for her song Whip My Hair and today we get to see photos of the Lil’ Miss Thang out and about in NYC with her famous parents Jada Pinkett and Will Smith on the day her music video took the Internets by storm. It’s clear, Diva Willow is ready for the spotlight:

I know that some people think that 9 going on 10 years old is a bit young for a child to be embracing fame and fortune but in Showbiz families, it’s just par for the course. Considering that Will and Jada are huge stars in their own right, it’s only natural that their children would want to follow in their footsteps. The couple’s other son, Jaden Christopher, is already a little movie star himself. I am LOVING Willow‘s hot song … and I wish her much success. The girl is just adorable. I’m certain her parents will take good care of her as she embarks on her own path to fame and fortune. I can’t wait to see how Willow Smith‘s career unfolds.

Hugh Jackman Enjoys A Playdate With His Children

Posted: 19 Oct 2010 08:58 AM PDT

Last week we saw photos of Hugh Jackman celebrating his 42nd birthday in NYC with his wife and children (lookin’ about as adorable as possible) and today we get to see even CUTER photos of Hugh enjoying a playdate with his kiddies over the weekend. As you can see, Oscar Maximillian and Ava Eliot have got themselves a pretty fun dad to play with:

Are you kidding me with these photos? OY! So adorable, I can’t even stand it. Photos like these are actually pretty standard where Hugh Jackman is concerned. It’s actually very rare to see any photos of Hugh out with his kids without any personal contact with one or both of his children. He is a very hands on dad and it’s clear from the looks on his kids’ faces that they really appreciate his love and attention. Sigh. Hugh Jackman sure looks like a fun daddy, don’t he?
