Looks like a wife is on the horizon for Jay-Z's Roc Nation label newbie J. Cole. YBF has the exclusive deets when you read on... We've learned that Rapper J.Cole (Jermaine Cole) very recently popped the question to his college sweetheart Melissa Heholt. The two met as freshmen at St. John's University in Queens, NY. And after dating for six years, he popped the question. Keeping the people close to you who were down before the crazy fame and fortune really pop off...smart move. Random fact: J graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Communication and minor in business. Pics of the couple:

It's a war of words between Nick Cannon and Chelsea Handler, after Chelsea made a few remarks about Nick's comedic skills on twitter. Find out deets inside....
It all started when Chelsea heard Nick would be hitting the stage in NYC to do some stand-up. She tweeted: "I just heard nick cannon is starting a comedy tour. Who's going to do the comedy?" *snickers* Nick, who's doing weekend shows at the Gotham Comedy Club in Manhattan, issued a quick response sparking a Twitter feud: "Wow @chelseahandler I actaully used to have respect for you as a comic. But for one artist to diss another in the same art form. #Tasteless," He continued: "Soon as I get off stage tonight, I'm going in on @chelseahandler I'm about to be relentless! OFF WITH HER HEAD but right now I got to focus." Chelsea simply responded by tweeting a picture of grape soda and the caption, "@nickcannon pls drink this before you tweet me again." Umm....I don't get it. Grape soda? Nick then spent the rest of the night making snarky remarks about Chelsea, which she didn't respond to. He commented on her looks and implied she only got her tv show "Chelsea Lately" by sleeping with executives at E! Well I do know her now ex-live in boyfriend is the President of Comcast Cable--and Comcast owns E! channel. Ouch! Then, Mr. Cannon ended his rant with a tweet directed at Chelsea, shock jock Howard Stern and rapper Eminem, all of whom have said negative things about him the past. "Why do all these angry ugly whitetrash folks want beef with me," he tweeted in exasperation. "What I do? I'm a harmless corny dude!" Nick.....focus on becoming a daddy and making Mariah happy. I know that's a full-time job.

Rihanna has finally joined all the fellas with her own KODAK commercial. It rolled out online tonight, and we've got the vid, plus T.I.'s brand new track "Get Back Up" when you read on...
Drake, Trey Songz, and Pitbull aren't the only ones flashing their KODAK smiles and sending their pics to each other. Rihanna's joined in on the fun. Her commercial is called "Fashion Shoot" and was shot in NY. Here's her commercial she shot with her besties Ursula (hairstylist), Mariel (stylist) and the other chick always with her:
Boom. About the So Kodak campaign, Rih says: “I am excited to team up with Kodak on this project. I am an avid fan of photography and love taking pictures, so this was a natural fit for me,” said Rihanna. “Being on tour, traveling around the world, I have so many cool moments that I have captured on my camera.” Nice.

Break out the cigars and incense! Rumors hit the net earlier today, but we awaited an official confirmation. Now a rep for Mr. and Mrs. Dean has finally confirmed. The couple has welcomed their brand new baby boy into the world today.
The deets when you read on... It's definitely a baby boy for Alicia Keys & Swizz "Kasseem Dean" Beatz. In a statement to People.com, the couple's rep confirms: "[Alicia and Swizz] have joyfully welcomed their first child, a son Egypt Daoud Dean on Oct. 14 in New York City." Looks like that walk of hers yesterday got the baby dropping started. Baby Egypt joins 3 siblings--2 brothers and a sister--who are Swizzy's children from previous relationships. Swizz tweeted late last night about how lucky he has been with the blessings in his life. And friend of the couple, Mary J. Blige, tweeted a congratulatory message to the newlyweds. The couple married at the end of this past July in Corsica in a private and intimate ceremony. Can't wait to see these baby pics. Congrats to the couple! |

We can now confirm all of the cast members of Donald Trump’s 2011 edition of “Celebrity Apprentice” because the show started taping yesterday. The newest addition is NeNe Leakes of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta!” As we reported yesterday, NeNe will join Star Jones, Meatloaf, Robin Leach, LaToya Jackson, Dionne Warwick, David Cassidy, Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, John Rich, 2010 Playmate of the Year Hope Dworaczyk and supermodel Niki Taylor. I'm not a fan of drama. But tell me you aren't itching to see a big fight between NeNe and Star Jones!

Posted: 15 Oct 2010 03:24 PM PDT  Yung Berg aka Christian Ward’s alleged baby mama, Beanna, is heated that he hasn’t ever seen his alleged son, let alone take care of him. She even brings her son out to talk about his “father.” We have the video and the deets and Melyssa Ford's new KING magazine cover when you read on… Yung Berg’s alleged real baby mama (yes we know, that sounds foolish, as does this story), Beanna, says she got pregnant with her son, Lamont, back in high school and when she told him about her being pregnant, he didn’t want anything to do with him or her. Lamont is 7 years old and also has autism. Beanna says Young Berg constantly changes his number and she has a hard time getting in contact with him so that’s why she decided to make this video. She claims she doesn’t want his money or HIM, she just wants him to take care of his kid. When she asked the little boy what was his dad’s name he says “Uh, you mommy.” She asks him again and he says “it’s Lamont’s dad.” She then asks him what he would say to his father if he could talk to him. He said, “You need to stay with me.”

This just in--rapper T.I. was sentenced to 11-months in jail for violating his probation. Details inside...
T.I., government name - Clifford Harris, appeared before U.S. District Judge Charles Pannell Jr. at 2 p.m. today. He was joined by his six attorneys, including Don Samuel, Ed Garland, Steve Sadow, Janice Capek, Kristen Wright and Dwight Thomas. Seems like he hired everyone in ATL except Phaedra from "Real Housewives of Atlanta". Anyway, remember that T.I. was still on probation for federal weapons charges when he was arrested Sept. 1 on drug charges in Los Angeles. He was out of jail for all of 3 minutes before he made the biggest illegal u-turn of his life. His probation officer alleged that T.I. committed three violations of his supervised release from prison: possessing ecstasy, testing positive for opiates and associating with a convicted felon. Tip was then ordered to appear in court today. Access Atlanta reports,
Damn homie. So how are he and Tiny going to explain this to the kids tonight? And P.S. I guess the suicide "stunt" didn't work at all. UPDATE: Sources in the courtroom say T.I. begged the judge not to send him back to prison, and admited that he needed to get help for drug addiction. Celebs like Trina and Eve hit up the 2010 Hennessy Artistry event at Cipriani's in NYC last night. Bobby Brown and others kicked it before Eve and Erykah Badu hit the stage, folks like Q-Tip, Roots, and D-Nice all hit the stage.
Also last night, Mary J. Blige and others hit her GOTHAM magazine cover party at Capitale. All the pics when you read on... Trina's really trying to make this red hair work. And I just can't say I'm feelin' it. I see she matched her shoes and hair though.
Toccara was there looking fab with Ms. Eve.
And the performers all snapped a pics--Ron Isley, Erykah Badu, The Roots, E-V-E, and Kat Deluna. I see Ms. Badu is rocking a new blonde mushroom look: Oh my stripes!

| Bishop Eddie Long's Church Hit With Sexual Harassment Suit! Posted: 15 Oct 2010 12:16 PM PDT
The legal woes of Bishop Eddie Long continue to sprout like a beanstalk. This time, a lawsuit was filed against his New Birth Missionary Church alleging sexual harassment against a top church supervisor. Find out the deets inside..... For a quick recap, four young men have filed sexual misconduct lawsuits against Bishop Eddie Long. Then last week, a bank sued him for failing to pay off a $1.9 million loan used to buy a gym in Clayton County. Now, another lawsuit has been filed in federal court. For this case, Tama Colson has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the church, accusing a church supervisor of improper sexual behavior and then retaliating against her when she complained. Tama claims Michael Ceaser, who oversees all technical support for the video recording of church services, showed her "a picture of a penis" on his cell phone. Sigh. Tama says she complained to a security official at the church who warned her that Ceaser and his boss were, "part of Bishop Eddie Long's inner circle and were never disciplined for any wrong doing." The suit goes on to to claim that Michael Ceaser had engaged in improper behavior with other women at New Birth and, "the church's leadership did not discipline Ceaser, but ran the women out of the church." This legal mess may be a bit tricky for Tama herself as Bishop Long's spokesperson says New Birth has a strict policy to report sexual harassment within 48 hours. And Tama did not make her complaint known until nearly a year after it happened. But the law of the state is still applicable. Is it morally right to tell a victim they have a specific time frame to come to terms with their trauma and report it? We'll see how this one plays out for the Bishop...

So, Diddy stopped by "The Late Show with David Letterman" and Brett Favre and his recent sexting/cheating drama came up in the discussion. That led Diddy down the path of the virtues of sexting, saying men and women have been communicating this way since the invention of mobile devices. Boris Kodjoe did an interview with AOL's Black Voices recently where he discussed his TV show 'Undercovers' and addressed rumors circulating about his tax evasion. Get the full interview when you read on...
There's been rumors floating that Kodjoe's NBC show, "Undercovers," is close to being cancelled. The show debuted with an audience of 8.7 million viewers and dropped the next episode to 7.2 mill. The actor quickly put these rumors to rest saying, "We're doing great, this year has been a weird year for new shows – there hasn't been a runaway hit. It has to do with so many different things, from programming to budgets and the economy as a whole. The bottom line is, we have a great show and everyone who sees the show loves the show, which is great." He continued saying, "NBC and Warner Bros. love the show, and they're supporting the show, now we're in a position to build and that's where we want to be. We want to find our audience and keep our audience, and that's what we're doing. I'm beyond-the-moon excited about doing this. It's literally the first time in a long time that two African Americans have been able to lead a one-hour drama on NBC. It's been over 30 years! So to be in this position is just a tremendous honor, and I'm proud to be a part of it."
Kodjoe is also pleased that NBC is now the most watched network in black households. The actor commented, "That's another aspect that I'm so proud of, again, my people have come out to support, and that's what we have to do! If we want programming to change and if we want programming to become more diverse in film and in TV, we have to be the ones to support. We have to buy tickets and come out and spend, because at the end of the day, it's a business and it's based on numbers. 'Undercovers' is a great example because we have come out to support and we have to continuously do that. I'm so excited about that. It shows that all those stereotypical things that's out there don't have to be the only form of programming depicting us " Fabulous. Good to hear that the shows with black leads and prominent roles are being received well. He also answered questions about reportedly owing the IRS over $200k. His response: "It's something that has been taken care of a while ago, the press got wind of it way late, after it's been already done and arranged and everything is taken care of. No worries. Here's one way to work your ass off to keep your husband and other athletes faithful. Tia Robbins, wife of St. Louis Ram Fred Robbins, has launched her own company that serves as roach spray for the groupiedom in the pro-sports world.

Tia, who is now pregnant with the couple's first child, and Fred got hitched just in May of 2009. But chick hit the ground running to find ways to stop all the cheating and groupiedom in the NFL and beyond. Her company, named Off The Market, is described as "a company whose goal it is to keep athletes and their significant others faithful." Apparently she noticed the engrained culture of cheating in the multi-million pro-sports world. They host dinner parties, events, and other fun things--but for couples only. According to CNBC:
Damn...call me cynical but I'm actually surprised there's 40 couples actually making an effort of fidelity in the pro-athlete world. I guess Tiger, Kobe, Shaq, and a bunch of others' invites got lost in the mail. Despite the fact I believe a man is going to cheat if a man wants to cheat no matter what, I actually love this idea.
