Kanye Premieres "Runaway" In L.A., Reveals Past Suicidal Thoughts

Kanye West premiered his new "Runaway" movie short yesterday in L.A. And he surprised his fans with an interesting reveal about wanting to end his life at one point.

While at L.A.'s Harmony Gold Theater, 'Ye revealed to press and fans that he has come through some very dark times. In an interview, he revealed that he contemplated suicide during the past few years after the deaths of his mother and a close friend, and a life that the public could see was spiraling out of control. He said:

“There were times that I contemplated suicide. I will not give up on life again. There’s so many people that will never get the chance to have their voice heard. I do it for them.”

Wow. Glad he found a way through the heartaches and hardships and can hopefully be a model to other people contemplating suicide. Walking away from an urge that will benefit no one is always the right choice.

Lookin' good 'Ye. By the way, his next single likely releasing this Friday will feature 11...yes, 11...artists. And all of diff persuasions:

Rapper Joe Budden Owes $13,000 In Back Child Support?!

There’s an arrest warrant out for Joe Budden who is allegedly $13,000 behind on child support. Hudson County officials have issued numerous warrants this year in an attempt to capture “deadbeat dads.”

According to the New Jersey Journal, Joe failed to appear at a child support hearing in May regarding the $12,983 he owes. Back in August of 2009, Joe Budden was arrested because he failed to pay child support, so this isn’t his first run in with the law over this.

It's Mr. and Mrs. Dean's first day out with Baby Egypt Daoud Dean! The newlyweds Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz were spotted bringing their newborn baby Egypt to his first check-up.

Alicia's mom was on grandma duty as she and Swizzy took baby Egypt to his first Pediatrician visit on 5th Ave in NYC:

With grandma's help with the now 5-day old baby, Alicia and Swizzy were able to do a little shopping after the doctor visit:

Alicia's looking like a happy and healthy new mom. Congrats again to the couple.

T.I. Says Prison Will Make Him Better, Reunites With Suicide Jumper He Saved

In a very honest radio interview yesterday, rapper T.I. talks about his upcoming jail bid, lessons learned, and reunites with the man whose life he helped save last week. Watch the interview inside...

In an interview on V-103 Monday, T.I. spoke about his approaching 11-month jail bid saying, "After this, I will become a better person. I am not without flaw. One thing from my flaws that I have always done, I have accepted responsibility."

Back in 2008, Clifford Harris aka T.I. plead guilty to a weapons charge in exchange for a light prison sentence and probation. But during his probation, police in California arrested him on a drug charge several weeks ago. Now he's been ordered back to prison for violating his probation.

One of the issues he opened up about was the betrayals he has seen in his life. He says the same people who laugh and cheer for you on your way to the top, are the same ones who laugh and cheer on your way down. It's a wound that seems very fresh in response to how he feels he's been treated by the public.

TIP says his very public mistakes may be unacceptable and inexcuseable, but that does not make them unforgivable. He expressed that the people who point fingers and judge his actions are no better than him. And most of those people don't contribute to the community like he does.

During the interview, TIP was reunited with Joshua Starks, a man he helped talk out of suicide in Atlanta, last Wednesday. Joshua said that TIP's appearance was unexpected and not staged. He thanked him for showing him that "things will get better."

As for his own legal problems, Mr. Harris says "I'm truly sorry and apologetic for having to put people who have supported me in this position. I won't say I'm sorry. I'll show I'm sorry. I'll speak with my actions."

He reminded the audience that he was not prepared for manhood growing up, saying he learned everything by trial and error and that's been his biggest issue. He ended by saying this latest arrest was his final lesson.

So what changes will T.I. be making? While he didn't get into specifics, he says, "I'm going to take it a day at a time," but the public will see that change in the music.

BURIED BEEF: Ciara & Keri Hilson Kiss & Make-Up

If you were hoping for a claws-out-yaki-pulling-good-ol-Georgia-beat-down fight from R&B chicks Keri Hilson and Ciara, you can keep twiddling your thumbs and waiting.

Last night, the two ladies acted as...ladies...and put their ongoing rumored "beef" to rest. Via UStream of course. A video clip of what went down when you read on...

So Cici and Ms. Keri took to Keri's Ustream last night after Ciara made an appearance on "106 & Park". And told their fans that there is no beef...and their boxing gloves are over there in the corner.

The two have been pitted against each other over the past year or so, with alleged backstage fights at Summer Jam and even supposedly having to be kept away from each other at award shows.

I'm not too convinced that there never was any beef, esp. after both ladies dropped diss tracks that seemed clearly meant for each other. But all that matters now is that they have "put it behind them", and all is well in the R&B world again. I hope you kids can now sleep at night knowing everything is all gravy.

The fabness that is 9-year-old Willow Smith was spotted strolling the streets of NYC yesterday after her "106 and Park" appearance. We've got the flicks of her, mom, dad, and cousin out and about. Plus, video of her shedding a tear last night on "106 & Park" after debuting her "Whip My Hair" video when you read on...

The Smith family was in tow yesterday in Manhattan to support little Willow on her big video debut day. Mama Jada was decked out in her usual fly gear of twill coat and pants with white heels and a tan turtleneck. And Will was a proud papa as his little girl got ambushed by fans and the paparazzi. And her cousin Jade was on hand too. Damn, does everybody in that fam have "spinoff" type names?

Cute. And in case you missed Ms. Thing's BET debut last night, here's the vid:

She cried when Rocsi and Terrence presented her with a plaque for her single as her birthday present. How precious! Check out the official video for "Whip My Hair" here. Loves it.

It's just been confirmed that Rihanna will open the 2010 American Music Awards this year. Find out who else will be performing and when you can expect a new album from Eve inside...

Rihanna will be this year’s opening act for the 2010 American Music Awards. She joins a list of other musical heavyweights like Usher, Pink, and Bon Jovi, all set to perform. The show will air live on ABC from LA’s NOKIA Theater on Sunday, November 21.

And in other music news...

Eve fans will be pleased to know she's just announced a release date for her next album. In a recent interview she said her long overdue and now renamed CD, Lip Lock, is scheduled for a March 11 release. She also hints that we can expect a Ruff Ryders reunion in the future, in case you are still interested...

We can't confirm it yet, but our sources at Mya's Washington, DC birthday party spotted the singer and NFL Baller Larry Johnson canoodling and telling photogs "No pictures!" Hmmm....we know what that means. See Mya's party pics inside...

This past Saturday, CÎROC hosted a private dinner to celebrate R&B singer Mya’s 31st birthday in Washington, D.C. at Jordan 8 restaurant. While Mya's guests dined on lamb chops, filet mignon and CÎROC, the birthday girl was spotted getting kissy kissy...with NFL baller Larry Johnson! But she made sure no one got pictures of that.

In the meantime, Mya plans to drop a new album in 2011.

And her new rumored boo, Larry Johnson kicked it as well. Larry has been linked to tv host Julissa and TLC's Chilli in the past. But maybe Mya is the one.

Music industry head honcho Andre Harrell had his 50th birthday party at The Darby in NYC over the weekend. And he had all his close friends from over the years there to help him ring in the mnilestone.

Diddy's been good friends with Andre since the beginning. So it's only right he was the host of the shindig. The Motown Records President/CEO had him, Russell Simmons, Chris Rock, and many others there to party it up.

I see Janice Combs is adamant about not changing up a damn thing about her look. I swear if we looked at pics from a decade ago--you wouldn't be able to tell which pic is now and which is then.
