BronBron Wishes He Could Turn Back Time

LeBron James Miami Heat Cleveland Cavaliers The Decision

“Big Three” haters, don’t get gassed! By no means is LeBron regretting his move to Miami. And the Heat have won every game since that season opener against the Celtics that had everybody talking.

He does finally admit that he could’ve bounced from Cleveland with a little more finesse though.

James did not go into specific detail into what he would have changed. But from the sound of it, James would have gone a different route.

“If I had to go back on it, I probably would do it a little bit different,” James said to reporters on Sunday in New Jersey before his Heat played the Nets. “But I’m happy with the decision I made. There’s always going to be a misunderstanding. I don’t know what I would [have done], but I definitely would have changed it.”

James also admitted that the Heat were always his first love.

“Not really,” James said, when asked if he came close to signing with another team. “It was some meetings that were better than others. But at the end of the day, this was the team I felt like I had the best opportunity to win for a long period of time. I didn’t have a list, one through six or one through five, whatever the case was.”

Hmmm. Do you think Dan Gilbert regrets reacting like a dumped Prom Queen?

Trigga vs. Drizzy: “Aston Martin Music.” Who Owns It?

Trey Songz Drake Aston Martin Music Remix Trigga Mix

Before “Aston Martin Music” became T*ts Rozay’s latest hit, it was a Drizzy mixtape cut (or something like that) floating around the web. Trey Songz and his imaginary rapper self Trigga decided they could do better.

The track leaked over the weekend features Trey singing and rapping over the Rick Ross version of the song, featuring Chrisette Michelle. And we were cool with Trey rapping ’til he tried to freestyle at the end. At least we hope that’s what happened, ’cause…

In case you missed it, here is Drake’s original.

Which one would you ride to?

Jesus Take The Wheel: Drive-By Shooter Murks 14 Innocent Bystanders At Soccer Game

Honduras Soccer game massacre

Daaaaayum! We hope that recent rash of violence in Mexico isn’t spreading to other parts of Central America.

Fourteen people were shot and killed at a soccer field in northern Honduras, a police spokesman said Saturday.

Juan Lopez, a police spokesman in the industrial city of San Pedro Sula, said 10 people died on the scene, while four more were transported to an area medical center for treatment. They died of their wounds, he added.

“We’re investigating to see what sort of organization could be behind this. The most likely (scenario) is that the attack was directed at one or some of the men on the field and that the others were caught in the crossfire,” Lopez said.

He declined to identify the victims.

Crazy.

In White Folks News: Indian Hotel Takes A Charge For Katy Perry And Her New Hubby

Katy Perry Russell Brand India wedding

Maybe Russell Brand took a little too much “Aldous Snow” to India with him for his wedding to Katy Perry last week.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have dodged charges for disturbing the peace with their wild wedding in India last week, but the resort where their nuptials went down…not so much.

Managers at the Aman-i-Khas hotel where the couple got hitched have been charged with violating noise laws, with the late-night festivities breaking the district’s rules against loud music after 10 p.m.

It didn’t help that the event took place adjacent to a sacred tiger sanctuary.

In the wake of the celebration, a local politician announced that investigators would determine whether there was any wrongdoing.

Officials said today that Perry and Brand, who decamped from India for a honeymoon in the Maldives this week, are off the hook for any transgressions. But the resort management now faces penalties that range from a fine to jail time.

DoingTheMost.com. The Perry-Brands AND the Indian government. Because we can’t imagine it could’ve been that serious.

Bronx DWI Mom To Serve A Year For Every Year Her Young Victim Lived

Posted: 31 Oct 2010 10:33 AM PDT

Carmen Huertas Bronx DUI

An emotional Carmen Huertas was sentenced to a maximum of 12 years in prison for driving her daughter and friends around NYC after getting plastered at a family party.

Huertas’ recklessness lead to 11-year-old Leandra Rosado’s death.

Carmen Huertas tearfully apologized, and spectators audibly wept, as she was sentenced Friday.

“I did not intentionally set out to harm Leandra or any of the other girls,” she said through sobs. “If I could go back in time, I would.”

Leandra’s father, who had recommended that Huertas serve one year for each year his daughter was alive, was also present at her sentencing.

“What haunts me the most is I promised to protect my daughter. And I feel like I failed her,” Lenny Rosado told the court in an emphatic and emotional speech.

He was a single father, raising an only child. He said his loss has made him question his faith. He has no reason to rush home any more, no reason to look forward to holidays. His daughter will never grow up, go to college. She will never marry or have children of her own.

“I am not a monster,” Huertas, dabbing her eyes with a tissue, said at her sentencing. “I am a loving mother who made a terrible decision that caused the death of a wonderful child. I know that I must be punished.”

Supreme Court Justice Charles Solomon had said during her plea that he would not sentence Huertas to the maximum 5 to 15 years but said Friday said the sentence had to be a deterrent so othes wouldn’t make the same mistake.

SMH. All these lives destroyed when people tried to stop her from getting behind the wheel.

Gmail Founder Paul Butcheit Proposition 19

Who would’ve thought those geeky Silicon Valley types were such fans of burning it down?

Gmail’s founder Paul Butcheit just cut a $100k check to support the “Yes On Prop 19″ campaign. Proposition 19, which is up for a vote in Cali on Tuesday would legalize Marijuana for adults over 21, but make it illegal to sell to minors, smoke around minors, or smoke in any public place.

The proposition has surprisingly gotten a lot of love from Web entrepreneurs: Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz put $70k down for the cause; Napster founder Sean Parker and Paypal’s Peter Thiel also contributed to the campaign.

But Butcheit says it has nothing to do with their own habits.

"The essential issue is that prohibition not only strips us of our personal liberty, but it also funnels billions of dollars to violent criminal organizations. Prop19 obviously won't solve all our problems, but I believe that it could be the turning point that leads us towards a more safe and sane drug policy. On this issue, the politicians will follow where the voters lead.

Prop 19 is popular in many areas, but the support in Silicon Valley is more visible because people here tend to have a greater degree of independence, and are therefore more likely to publicly express their support for what has historically been a controversial issue."

Investing $100k to protect other people’s right to touch the sky? Riiiiiight.

When Pigs Fly: Shady A$$ One-Time Responsible For Killing Danroy Henry Are Now Claiming He Was Drunk

Posted: 31 Oct 2010 08:57 AM PDT

danroy henry

This sounds like some straight BS right here…especially since all of the previous reports were saying that Danroy was turning down drinks all night:

An autopsy shows that college football player Danroy Henry was driving drunk when he was shot to death this month by police outside a bar in suburban New York City, a law enforcement official familiar with the investigation told The Associated Press on Friday.

In response to the disclosure, Henry’s father said, “If it’s a part of the truth, so be it. But at the end of the day, the central question to us is, does that justify killing our son? … We still fundamentally believe it isn’t.” Henry’s blood-alcohol level was measured at 0.13, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the autopsy report hadn’t been released. The legal limit for driving in New York is 0.08. Henry, a Pace University student from Easton, Mass., was shot in his car early Sunday, Oct. 17, after police responded to a disturbance outside a bar in suburban Thornwood, N.Y. Police said he sped away and hit two officers after a policeman knocked on his car window. His family says witnesses contradict that account.

The Henrys’ attorney, Michel Sussman said police were releasing the information “to change the conversation away from what police did. Probably several million college students have levels of 0.13 on Saturday night and early Sunday morning,” Sussman said. “It had nothing to do with police approaching him.”

Earlier Friday, Mount Pleasant Police Chief Louis Alagno held a news conference to counter claims that Henry was left to die without swift medical help. He presented a timeline indicating that the student received treatment from officers within three to five minutes of the first report of a shooting.

Lawyers for some witnesses have alleged that Henry was neglected for up to 15 minutes after he was shot. Alagno said investigators are looking for a woman who gave Henry chest compressions before officers took over. Alagno said the first report of a disturbance in the bar was at 1:19 a.m. Sunday, and the first report of a shooting was at 1:25 a.m. Between 1:28 and 1:30 a.m., officers noted Henry’s “grave condition,” retrieved oxygen and a defibrillator, and took over CPR from the woman. By 1:35 a.m., Henry was loaded on a stretcher and wheeled to an ambulance, he said.

Bonnie Zelman, an attorney for another shooting victim that night, Pace student Daniel Parker, said, ” I don’t buy it.” She called Alagno’s account a cover-up. A union representing one of the officers who fired on the car, Pleasantville Officer Aaron Hess, said Hess “acted in accordance with his training and as required under the circumstances.”

The other officer who fired at the car has been identified as Mount Pleasant Officer Ronald Beckley. A preliminary autopsy confirmed “death by gunshot,” Alagno said. He did not say which officer’s bullet caused the death or how many times Henry was hit. He said the investigation will take months.

Drunk or not (which he probably was NOT) does not justify killing this kid. GTFOH!!! Shady a$s pigs. SMH.

R.I.P. Danroy.
