Days Of Our Lives Renewed For Two More Years! Posted: 08 Nov 2010 12:40 PM PST After celebrating its 45th season this week, NBC announced that Days of our Lives would be renewed for another two years. "Days of our Lives remains vitally creative through the years as it continues to draw new generations of viewers, especially among its loyal female audience," said NBCU TV Entertainment chairman Jeff Gaspin. The show is still raking in 2.6 million viewers, which is not bad considering it premiered in 1965. Congrats!

Considering that his career pales in comparison to yours and yet he still has as much money is really saying something! Then again, what exactly is the dollar amount of the bill he is holding? Posted: 08 Nov 2010 12:10 PM PST After a rift that has gone on since 1993, Simon Cowell has had a reunion with his 64 year old half-brother, Michael, who is 13 years older than him. Here's what Michael had to say about reuniting with Simon: "I am really looking forward to seeing my brother again and having some time to talk properly. It is really exciting we can have this meeting and that he has set time aside for me." "We have just recently got back in regular touch over the phone but I don't want to go into details. The only people who know the full story are Simon and I." More from Michael: "When I see him on TV I still can't believe it. Openly Gay Bishop Announces Plans To Retire Due To Public Backlash! Posted: 08 Nov 2010 12:00 PM PST This is just so unfortunate. Bishop V. Gene Robinson, the first openly gay Episcopal bishop, announced to the Disocese of New Hampshire that he will be stepping down from his position in 2013, due to the public's backlash against him for his sexual preference! During his announcement in a speech to his congregation on Saturday, he explained: "The fact is, the last seven years have taken their toll on me, my family and you. Death threats, and the now-worldwide controversy surrounding your election of me as bishop have been a constant strain, not just on me, but on my beloved husband, Mark. New Hampshire is always the place I remain, simply, 'the bishop.' This is the one place on earth where I am not 'the gay bishop.' I believe that you elected me because you believed me to be the right person to lead you at this time. The world has sometimes questioned that, but I hope you never did." Such an unbelievable shame, but we can understand why that kind of constant hatred and bigotry would be too much for someone - even if he is a bishop! We're proud of him for being brave enough in the first place to accept the position, and paving the way for other Episcopalians and Anglicans to take on positions of power in the church, despite sexual preference! Although the two recently called it quits for good, it appears that AnnaLynne McCord and Kellan Lutz are still on pretty good terms! The pair was spotted running into each other at the AFM Blowout Party in Santa Monica, and according to witnesses, they happily HUGGED! It's lovely to see that they can put aside the nonsense and drama of splitting and just focus on what made them like each other to begin with! Start saving your pennies because soon, Jackie Chan will be unveiling his own personal museum aptly titled Jackie Chan World! The world will house, as Jackie puts it, all the "shit" he's collected over the years from his various movies, as well as some personal things. He told sources: "All my props and costumes, I put them there. I want people to go in and see them. Now I am planning Jackie Chan World - everything I've collected all these years will go in there. Teacups and saucers, cars, rocks, spoons.In my office, so many s**t! I've got six lofts in Hong Kong and if I want to find an Apple (Mac) I can't find it anywhere. I have to buy a new one. One day, when I die, I want my bank account to be zero. Nothing." Basically, he's going to charge admission for people to see his storage unit. More Deets On Keith Olbermann's Return To MSNBC! Posted: 08 Nov 2010 11:30 AM PST He may be acting a little rash and stubborn, but you can't deny that he makes some pretty strong points! Although he was suspended for breaking company rules and making monetary contributions to political candidates and their campaigns, Keith Olbermann will soon be back on MSNBC, but he is NOT happy about what went down, and expects a few things from the network in order for him to return! An insider explains: "Keith is furious about the way this has all been handled and insisted that MSNBC bosses apologize to him before he would agree to return. Keith sees himself as the star of MSNBC, the person who put them on the map and discovered fellow network anchors Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell. To be treated like this by the network he helped shape, he considers disgusting. In addition to an apology, Keith is demanding that the rules be changed. Keith thinks it's unfair that FOX News anchors can make contributions and support candidates and he can't. It's his money that he has earned, he should be allowed to do whatever he wants with it. What sort of country do we live in where an actor can trash a hotel room with an escort and drugs and Keith can't donate money to people running for office he believes in? It makes no sense. If they think they can slap Keith's wrist and have him to return a few days later like nothing happened, they are wrong. They picked the wrong guy. Keith clearly won this battle. Not only has he got the bosses to say sorry, but he's also got the company to review its ethic rules. You watch — his rating on Tuesday when he returns will be bigger than ever, giving him even more power at MSNBC." Wow! That's pretty ballsy, even for him! We're glad he'll be back, but we think it probably would be better if both parties just quietly moved forward! The rules were still broken, and he should be respectful of his part in that and grateful that he didn't get in more trouble! What do U think?? Is Keith's behavior justified??

After announcing that he would perform in nine concerts to benefit victims of the Tennessee floods, Garth Brooks sold out every single one of his Nashville shows. The event has raised $3.5 million for the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee with the sale of 140,000 tickets.
