'Teen Mom' Kailyn Lowry Works at Forever21 Posted: 03 Apr 2011 07:06 AM PDT It looks like Teen Mom 2‘s Kailyn Lowry is moving up in the world – she has reportedly left her gig at Sports Authority and upgraded to working at Forever21. Although she met boyfriend Jordan Wenner while working at Sports Authority, Kail tweeted a pic of herself last week on the way to her Forever21 job interview, and she tweeted a few days later that she had officially gotten the job. Considering that the retail chain launched a maternity collection last year that was reportedly aimed at teen moms, Kail might be the ideal Forever21 employee. She won’t be making as much as ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, whose gig fixing copiers is pretty well-paying, but it’s nice to see someone on this show who actually has a work ethic. Good on her for having a job, unlike her castmates Chelsea Houska or Jenelle Evans, but doesn’t that MTV money kick in at some point? Post from: Crushable |
The Dos and Don'ts of Drama, with 'Degrassi': Taking the Stand Posted: 03 Apr 2011 08:58 AM PDT I’ve gotta say, I wasn’t expecting Fiona’s deposition against Bobby, her boyfriend who physically abused her last season, to be so fascinating. Fiona’s always been a flaky, spoiled rich girl, yet in “Chasing Pavements, Part 1″ we see her as a recovering addict who manages to keep a tight grip on her strength even as Bobby tries to paint her as her former self. Spoiler: She wins! But not without several interesting plotlines being set up for next week… Like when she tries to make out with Holly J! Gallery: 11 Smartphone Apps That Let You Exercise God-Like Powers Posted: 03 Apr 2011 08:35 AM PDT Let’s face it: Smartphones are terrifying. I mean, they do all of these things for us, they ask for nothing in return, and yet we blithely hand over our lives to them fully knowing that one day they could possibly become self-aware like Skynet and take over the world? What is WRONG with us? Oh, wait, I know: Smartphones also give us the illusion that we are more powerful than we actually are. This must be why there are so many apps out that there let us experience the power usually only available to gods. Feel like trying it yourself? Here are the best apps to play god with, both in real life and in games, on the market: Post from: Crushable Gallery: 11 Smartphone Apps That Let You Exercise God-Like Powers |
Check Out 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Husband Joe Giudice's Mugshot Posted: 03 Apr 2011 07:06 AM PDT Joe Giudice’s mugshot has just been released, Daily Mail reports. The husband of Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice, was arrested last Friday, March 25, on charges of fraudently obtaining a New Jersey driver’s license. His license was suspended last year, and he spent 10 days in jail on charges of driving on a suspended license. Now, Joe is accused of going to the DMV and getting a driver’s license under his brother’s name. If convicted, he faces up to 18 months in prison, for forgery, and up to 10 years in prison, for wrongfully using identifying information of another person. Joe was released from prison on $50,000 bail. This hasn’t been an easy couple of years for the Giudices. Joe was recently detained at a Dominican Republic airport, after a fight broke out in a DR hotel bar. Joe Giudice, as well as other cast mates, got in a physical fight, when Teresa was allegedly punched in the face after a bar patron was angered by her accidentally spraying champagne on his wife. Teresa’s latest Facebook status update was on Thursday, at 3:19 p.m. She wrote, “Come see me at the XRSE store in Palisades Mall in West Nyack NY. on Saturday, April 2nd from 12PM – 3PM! xx.” Post from: Crushable Check Out 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Husband Joe Giudice's Mugshot |
