We're glad to hear she's a least feeling a bit better. This morning, Lily Allen took to her Twitter to thank her fans and followers for sending her well wishes in the wake of her miscarriage. It's obviously been a difficult ti:me for the singer, but thankfully, she has a lot of support in her corner. She tweeted out her thanks, saying

| Mary Jane Watson DROPPED From Spider-Man Reboot?! Posted: 05 Nov 2010 12:30 PM PDT
We feel like every day, we're hearing something different! There's been quite a bit of speculation surrounding the reboot of Spider-Man, specifically regarding whether or not Mary Jane Watson or Gwen Stacy will be the primary love interest for the web slinger in the new flick. The biggest surprise came with the casting of Emma Stone, whom everyone assumed would take on KiKi's role before it was revealed that she would be Gwen! However, sources are reporting now that the Mary Jane character has been completely dropped from the reboot - mainly because the writer, James Vanderbilt, and director Marc Webb couldn't figure out a way to successfully incorporate a love-triangle into the script, and eventually became weary of the idea after how poorly a similar plot line was received in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3! The same source is also confirming The Lizard as the reboot's main villain! Inneresting! And we'd say that eliminating Mary Jane is probably a smart move! They've already covered all of that ground in the first films, so we think the more original this one is, the better! What do U think?? Are U happy with the direction the new Spider-Man is taking?? |

Not much of a surprise on that, but still! Today, Bristol Palin is Ellen DeGeneres guest on her show and, of course, the topic of Levi Johnston came up amidst the talk of Dancing With The Stars. Ellen flat out asked Bristol if she thought Levi would make a good mayor and she retorted with a resounding "No!" She added:
We believe these were all valid points brought up by the ladies of The View not too long ago, but obviously, there more important when coming from his baby momma/ daughter of the former governor of Alaska. Wowsa! It looks like she is moving right along! Although Melissa Etheridge's split from Tammy Lynn Michaels has been a horrible messy one, with Tammy claiming that her ex-wife left her without enough money to support the couple's four year old twins, the singer is coming forward to claim that it's all just BS, and that she's already seeing someone else! She explains:
Well, we sincerely hope that she's telling the truth! Those two clearly have some serious issues to work out, and fast! They have kids together, and that should be their number one priority instead of all of this "she said this, she said that" nonsense! Thoughts?? [Image via WENN.] |

Looks like Conan's getting yet another way to say HAH! to NBC. Rates for commercials on Conan's new show, despite being on TBS, will run for $30,000 to $40,000 for 30 seconds, which is in the same ballpark as commercial rates for Leno and Letterman. Here's what Conan's manager Gavin Polone had to say about ad space on the new show:
We'll be curious to see which advertisers will shell out for commercials on Conan's TBS show. Would U want your commercial to run during Conan's new show? Or do U still think Leno and Letterman will attract more audiences? [Image via WENN.] |
