| Lesbian Blogger Has Been Kidnapped In Syria Posted: 07 Jun 2011 12:30 PM PDT Such a sad, scary situation. Lesbian blogger Amina Araf, who writes the blog A Gay Girl in Damascus AND is a voice for anti-government opposition in Syria, was kidnapped yesterday in Damascus. According to reports, she was grabbed by "three armed men" in their twenties, who forced her into a vehicle. Amina's cousin Rania Ismail posted the following about the kidnappers on the blog:
Amina is NOT popular in Syria for writing openly as a lesbian despite the fact that homosexuality is illegal in the country AND she's called for an end to the Bashir regime, which also makes her a target. Our thoughts and prayers are with Amina and her family during this upsetting, difficult time. We truly hope that she is okay, and makes it back home safely. |

That's a pic of it above! One of the Weiner wiener pic recipients was Gennette Cordova, and it just so happens that Cordova's high school newspaper ran an article awarded her with a HIGHlariously prophetical "Most Likely" distinction! If you ask us, this paper is probably where we should be looking for end of the world news, instead of some crazy old guy who makes a ton of profit from being constantly wrong. LOLz! | The Stage Is Set For The Voice! Posted: 07 Jun 2011 11:40 AM PDT Welcome to Tron!!! We kid, we kid! But you've got to admit - this set is very futuristic, supersonic, hypnotic funky fresh! Tonight, The Voice goes LIVE for the very first time, which means the show's got a whole new set to work with for the competition rounds. More lights. Big Screens. Catwalks. Floating stairs. Strobe lights. Anyway, have a look at these newly released set photos of the massive stage. Tonight, Xtina and the rest of the coaches will christen the space with a Queen medley that, from what we've seen so far, is sure to disappoint NO ONE! | Are Paris' Parents Having Money Troubles??? Posted: 07 Jun 2011 11:20 AM PDT Guess Paris isn't as generous with her rents as Jessica Simpson! According to financial docs from the L.A. County Recorder's Office, Paris Hilton's parents Rick and Kathy have recently taken out a $10 million equity line out of their mansion in Bel Air. The docs show that Paris' rents were approved for the equity line, and they must pay everything back in full by 2021. Hopefully everything's all right, but if things go SERIOUSLY downhill for the Hiltons, maybe they can go get a job as farm workers or camp counselors.
