With Alicia Keys dropping her Songs In A Minor Deluxe Edition 10-year anniversary album next week, one of the 4 new tracks she added to it just hit the net.

 

Check out "Typewriter" when you read on....

If the track sounds like it's from her early days, it is.  Alicia decided to finally release this "Typewriter" song originally meant for her debut album, Songs In A Minor.  And in it, she calks about letting her listeners in to her laboratory of music.

It's the raw, rough around the edges, soulful sound we all originally fell in love with.  Check it.

Lupe Fiasco Defends Calling President Barack Obama A Terrorist On "The O'Reilly Factor"

In a semi-shocking move, Lupe Fiasco went on "The O'Reilly Factor" to defend comments he made calling President Barack Obama a terrorist and Bill O'Reilly took him to task for it! Watch the heated exchange inside...

During a CBS Interview, Lupe Fiasco recently said:

"My fight against terrorism, to me, the biggest terrorist is Obama in the United States of America." 

That statement has caused a lot of controversy and the rapper went on FOX NEWS to defend it.  

One would assume that Bill O'Reilly would love a statement that detracts from President Obama, but he actually seemed to take the rapper to task for his statements saying his words are influential and could cause harm.

But he also said to Lupe that his listeners don't have political PhDs, which seems like a nice way of saying they aren't smart enough to understand politics.  Did he just call the hip-hop community dumb? 

Lupe goes on to defend himself saying he thinks all U.S. President were "terrorists" in some way because of the way they handle wars, world politics, etc.

Orlando Magic baller Dwight Howard showed off his silliness as he hit up a tv show in Madrid, Spain yesterday.  He dipped into Rihanna's wig crypt for a messy red wig and pranced around the stage.  Pics of him, plus hotties Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Idris Elba sitting front row at Milan Fashion Week, when you read on....

Ha!  Never thought Dwight Howard could look this ugly.  He hit up 'El Hormiguero' Tv Show at Vertice Studio in Madrid, Spain yesterday.  And he proved that he should stay the broad shouldered hot man that he is.

This wig is killing me.

Looks like he had too much fun on the show.

Meanwhile, his NBA colleagues Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony were off in Milan getting dapper for Men's Fashion Week:

Dwyane hit the DSquared show and a few others.

Nice.

Carmelo was there and kicked it with the fineness that is Idris Elba.

Nivea's Mugshot And DRUNK DRIVING Arrest Details Released

Nivea's mugshot has been released along with the deets about her unfortunate arrest. And despite her going off on Twitter yesterday about NOT drinking and driving, all details released by the cops beg to differ.  Get them all inside....

According to details obtained by TMZ, Lil Wayne's baby mama and The Dream's ex-wife, Nivea, plowed her 2006 Mercedes into a tree that had fallen into the street after a recent storm at 1:30am on Sunday. 

Cops said when they pulled her over she had "bloodshot, glassy eyes and smelled like alcohol." And she then told the cops she ONLY had 3 drinks earlier in the evening.  Nivea girl...we saw the wedding reception pics.  You LOOKED it.

She also told them she didn't see the bright yellow crime tape and the traffic cones directing cars away from the downed tree. *red flag*

The singer was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and reckless driving and the child who was in the car with her was not injured and released to her boyfriend.  

Now......how did all those people (including her baby-mama-circle-o-besties) at the wedding reception of Toya and Memphitz let her get behind the wheel of a car with a child?  Damn shame.

SIGH.  Another day another facial tattoo.  Rick Ross is the newest addition to the foolywang truck.  What possesses folks to do ish like this....ESPECIALLY when they're not getting broke off a dime by said company they are tattooing on themselves?

Yes we all love a hot pair of vintage Cazal shades.  But would we go as far as to tatt the logo on our faces?  Absolutely not. 

Rick Ross decided to tattoo the company's logo on his face right underneath his left eye.  And the picture proof is above.

SUMMER VACAY: The Obama Ladies Arrive In South Africa!

The Obama ladies are kicking off their South African sumer vacay...and of course, there's business involved as well.  Diplomatic First Lady Michelle Obama arrived to Pretoria, South Africa today with her daughters Sasha and Malia, her mom Marian Robinson, and nephew, Avery Robinson, 19, and niece, Leslie Robinson, 15 (her brother Craig's children).

 

We've got pics and deets on how the ladies dressed for the occassion and what's going down on their trip, when you read on....

Awww.  Sasha looks like she just woke up from that long plane ride.  You know that annoyed look kids get.  She and her sister Malia were welcomed at Waterkloof Air Force Base this evening by SOuth African officials and their children.  And the First Daughters receieved South African blankets with colors of the nation's flag by young children of the protocol officer as a welcome.  (It's winter and 51 degrees there)  Sweet!

Michelle rocked an orange and black sweater by designer Duro Olowu who is of African decent, according to the White House.

On the trip Mrs. Obama and her fam are meeting with several women leaders, including South African President Jacob Zuma’s wife and Nompumelelo Ntuli-Zuma, Graca Machel, the wife of former South African President Nelson Mandela.  She's also set to met with nobel peace prize winner Desmond Tutu.
 

This is the first lady's fourth trip to the continent of Africa and her first to South Africa. This is her second solo official visit. Next stops: Johannesburg and Cape Town and continuing to Botswana.....

Beyonce Kicks Off 1st Concert In A Year In Nice, France

Beyonce is performing her first full concert in almost a year and a half.  And she rolled over to Nice, France to do so.  We got pics of her performance and laid back arrival inside....

The "Best Thing I Never Had" singer traveled to Nice for the second time this month to put on a concert for her french fans.   She went to the southern France city last week for rehearsal and arrived yesterday to work it out in pink.  This was posted on her facebook:

Depending on how you track the time, it's been 486 days, 11,680 hours, 700,800 minutes, 42,048,000 seconds, OR just plain too long since Beyoncé's last concert. That all ends now. Beyoncé's first concert in over a year has just begun in Nice, France. When's the last time you saw Beyoncé in concert?

Will Smith And Jay-Z Hang Out On "MIB3" Set + Sean Kingston Tweets That He's "Feeling Alot Better"

While in NYC filming Men In Black 3, Will Smith got a visit from Jay-Z  on the set.  See pics of the duo hanging out and get a health update from Sean Kingston himself inside...

Jay-Z dropped by the set of Men In Black 3 in New York City's Battery Park neighborhood to visit his friend and business partner Will Smith. 

Will and Jay-Z produced the Broadway play "Fela!" together a little while ago.

Weeks after his jet ski accident, Sean Kingston is looking great and feeling good.  He recently tweeted a pic of himself saying:

"GOD IS GREAT! Thanks for all the prayers and support! Love you ALL!"

It's his first tweet since his horrible accident.  And from the background in the photo, it looks like he is out of the hospital.

OH LAWD: Jackie Christie, Kimsha Artest & Gloria Govan Are Headed To "Basketball Wives LA"

Shaunie O'Neal isn't missing a beat....or a good money making opportunity...as she and VH1 have announced that they are taking the "Basketball Wives" franchise to Los Angeles.  And Gloria Govan (who Shaunie became "rivals" with on the original "BBW") will be front and center with the drama.  Find out the rest of the cast inside....

 

Coming to VH1 on August 29, "Basketball Wives LA" will take us into the lives of NBA wives/girlfriends/fiancees under the California sun. 

So far, the cast includes Kimsha Artest, wife of Los Angeles Laker Ron Artest; Jackie Christie, wife of Doug Christie, former player for the Los Angeles Clippers; and Imani Showalter, ex-fiancée of Charlotte Bobcats' Stephen Jackson, and Gloria Govan, fiancee of Laker baller Matt Barnes. Also, Laura Govan (Gloria's sister) is expected to make appearances. 

Well we got 2 wives out of 3 this time...that's a first.

I need Vanessa Bryant on this show...that would be EPIC with her (alleged) sassy and uncalled for bratty outbursts on other basketball wives.  But we all know that aint gonna happen....
