Rebecca Black Doesn't Need To Charge People To Watch Friday! She's Already Made Six Figures!

Posted: 20 Jun 2011 12:45 PM PDT

rebecca black made six figures from friday

No wonder she's willing to take Friday off of YouTube! She's ALREADY make six-figures from the video!

Earlier today, we reported on all the dramz going on between Rebecca Black and Ark Music Factory (AMF).

As a quick recap, Black forced AMF to take down her video because she wasn't pleased that they were trying to charge a $2.99 rental fee to view it, and now Ark is pret-ty unhappy with her.

We've also learned that Black has already "generated revenue in the high six figures" for Friday, which helps us understand even more why she wouldn't want to charge people to watch her video.

If she's already making lots of $$$ and everyone gets to enjoy her music for free, why start charging people? There's NO WAY that people would respond positively to a $2.99 fee for Friday, and we gotta give credit to Rebecca for putting a stop to it.

Would U do the same as Rebecca if U were in her shoes?

Johnny Knoxville Remembers Ryan Dunn After Tragedy

Posted: 20 Jun 2011 12:30 PM PDT

Ryan Johnny RIP

It was a sad morning with the news that Ryan Dunn has died in a tragic car accident, especially for those who were closest to him — like his family and his fellow Jackass crew.

Johnny Knoxville has said this:

"Today I lost my brother Ryan Dunn. My heart goes out to his family and his beloved Angie. RIP Ryan , I love you buddy."

It's so sad to see anyone go regardless of age, but it tends to be a special kind of pain when they were so young.

Our thoughts and good vibes go out to Ryan's family and those close to him.

We're sorry for your loss, Johnny.

As they say, don't bite make fun of the hand that feeds you!

Check out the video (above) of a Barack Obama impersonator who was escorted off the stage at the Republican Leadership conference in New Orleans this weekend.

Everything seemed to be going quite well until the comedian started making fun of Republican candidates as well.

What do U think? Was the impersonator in the wrong here?

U.N. Council Passed Gay Rights Res!

UN Passes Gay Right Resolution

The U.N. Human Rights Council has finally passed their first gay rights resolution, resulting in support for equal rights for all, regardless of sexual orientation!!

It was introduced by South Africa, and passed 23 to 19, with 3 absentees.

Here's what's being said:

"It really is a key part in setting a new norm that gay rights are human rights and that that has to be accepted globally.

"It talks about the violence and discrimination that people of LGBT persuasion experience around the world," she said, "and that those issues … need to be taken seriously. It calls for reporting on what's going on, where people are being discriminated against, the violence that is taking place, and it really puts the issue squarely on the U.N.'s agenda going forward."

This is FANTASTIC news for the LGBT communities all over the world. While we're sure that discrimination won't end over night, this is a step in the right direction to those deciding whether or not what they're doing is in line with the U.N.'s decision!

It was best put when said that gay rights are human rights, and human rights are gay rights!

Glee Kids Set To Graduate WILL Be Graduating

Glee Seniors Graduating

Ryan Murphy, the creator and head of Glee, has confirmed that he's sticking to the idea that those who were juniors this past season on the show, will indeed be graduating next spring.

While some people might be bummed about this, you can't argue that it doesn't make sense. Sticking to the experience of actual high schoolers, kids graduate. Plain and simple!

Murphy:

"This next [season] will be their senior year, and then that [they] will graduate. We didn't want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years. We really wanted to be true to that experience."

So who will be filling in the empty spots?

Murphy isn't very keen on the term "replacing," but who is he really kidding, because that's exactly what it is:

"There's a couple rumors floating around, that half the cast is go to be replaced by the winner of The Glee Project, which is not true."

He went on to explain that some newbies will be introduced near the beginning of the season, and then midseason, including just one person from the Glee Project that will have at least seven episodes.

It will be very very inneresting to see how they handle these transitions. Either way, when those who are ready to graduate do (such as Rachel, Finn, Quinn and Puck), it'll be extremely emotional!

Though, Ryan has said that the permanent flow of the show will be placed on Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch, so it'll be nice to see them keep SOME familiar faces throughout the years!

How do U feel about this process??

Three Candidates In The Running To Replace Regis!

Posted: 20 Jun 2011 11:20 AM PDT

regis-philbin-kelly-ripa.jpg

The end is near, which means its time to start speculating who will be replacing Regis Philbin come the fall when he finally retires from his long-running morning talk show. A lot of names have been thrown around every since he made the announcement that he was leaving the show for good, but today sources are revealing the possible top three contenders to sit next to Kelly Ripa every morning.

Drumroll please. And the nominees for Regis' seat are:

Kelly's husband and frequent stand-in for Regis, Mark Consuelos.

Bravo's main man executive and talk show host, Andy Cohen.

And … Ryan Seacrest, (for credentials, just turn on your TV, radio, computer, etc. He's everywhere!)

Of course, ABC is confirming NOTHING and insists that it is "ridiculous" to speculate who will be replacing him at this point. However, we can't help but notice how plausible it would be for any of these candidates to take over for Reg. They each have the experience and the personality for the gig and it would be a huge honor for any of them!

What do U think? Do any of these gents seem like the right man for the job?
