Anna Nicole Loses Court Case Today

Before Anna Nicole Smith died in 2007, she was locked in a complicated legal battle over money supposedly left (or not left) to her by her late husband's estate.

Her husband had died in the first year of marriage and his will made no mention of her. Upset by this, Anna took the estate to court saying that her late husband had promised her $300 million dollars to be left to her in the event that he should pass away.

Today, in a case that's strangely between to deceased people, the court has ruled in favor of the estate, and that Anna Nicole was not to get any of that money.

She accused J. Howard Marshall's heirs of conspiring to keep her out of the payout.

And four years later, everyone can get back to whatever they would be doing right now if this had been dropped a long time ago!

Courtney Love Burns Hands In NYC Townhouse Fire, Refuses Medical Treatment

Poor Courtney Love! She's had a tough run of it lately.

Earlier this month, Courtney was sued by New York security firm Screen International Security Services, who claimed she owes them $58,222.50 for unspecified services.

Now, we're sad to report that Courtney suffered "minor burns to her hands" following an early morning fire at her townhouse in NYC's West Village.

Here's what a fire dept spokesman had to say about the situation:

"We can confirm that we attended a small fire at the location and the curtains were on fire. The owner had burns to her hands and refused medical treatment."

"The fire was on the 4th floor of the building and the call-out time was logged at 1.52am."

We're sorry to hear about this and we hope you're okay, Courtney, but why would U refuse medical treatment? Even if the burns were minor, that def sounds like the type of thing that should be looked at by a professional!

Feel better soon, and consider visiting a doctor, Courtney!

Cory Monteith Recalls Youth As Alcoholic, Drug-Addicted High School Drop-Out

Cory Monteith is best known for his role as Finn Hudson on Glee, but before he struck gold on the series, he has revealed that he spent a better part of his youth as a drug-addicted, alcoholic high school drop out...and all by the time he was 16!

And despite a stint in rehab, the only thing that helped him get his life together was an ultimatum from his family that they would press charges against him for stealing from them!

He explains:

"I'm not Finn Hudson. I'm lucky on so many counts—I'm lucky to be alive. I had a serious problem [with drugs and alcohol]. Anything and everything, as much as possible. I burned a lot of bridges. I was out of control. [At 19] That's when I first went to rehab. I did the stint but then went back to doing exactly what I left off doing. I stole a significant amount of money from a family member. I knew I was going to get caught, but I was so desperate I didn't care. It was a cry for help. I was confronted and I said, 'Yeah, it was me.' It was the first honorable, truthful thing that had come out of my mouth in years. A lot of things went missing when I was around; I had high overhead to take care of. I was done fighting myself. I finally said, 'I'm gonna start looking at my life and figure out why I'm doing this.' I don't want kids to think it's okay to drop out of school and get high, and they'll be famous actors, too. … But for those people who might give up: Get real about what you want and go after it. If I can, anyone can."

Wow. So candid!

And you'd never expect him to be one of those kids!

Proof that ANYONE can be led astray!

But also a reminder that no matter how bad your life can get, there's always the opportunity to turn it around.

Cory found his passion and drive in acting, and we sincerely hope to that young men in similar situations can somehow persevere and find what makes them want to be better!

Oh No! Another Kardashian Sex Tape!!!

ANOTHER SEX TAPE!?!? When will they learn!

According to Star Magazine, there's a sex tape floating around of Kourtney Kardashian and a gentlemen friend who has NOT been identify as Scott Disick.

According to sources who have allegedly viewed the video, the tape is a "few years old" and fairly graphic. In one shot, Kourtney supposedly pleasures her man friend with some oral sex and her face is clearly visible. Naturally, the family is doing all that they can to STOP the release of this video.

If it's really out there, we doubt even the Kardashian millions can stop of it from circulating. The people want to see it ... so it will get seen! Still, we won't say we told ya so (even though we have MULTIPLE times), since we have our doubts on the story.

We won't believe till we see it!

Lindsay Avoids Jail Time!!!

Celebrity justice at its best!

She's escaped jail time yet again!

Lindsay Lohan is heading back to her posh Venice pad to resume her home confinement and avoided any jail time on Thursday in a probation violation court hearing.

Judge Stephanie Sautner ruled that Lohan's prior judge, Elden Fox, only required controlled substances testing from January 3rd through February 25, 2011. Judge Fox did not mandate alcohol testing as part of Lindsay's probation. So, even though the recovering addict tested positive for booze, she was not in violation.

The decision came after more than an hour of deliberations between Lohan's legal team and prosecutors in the judge's chambers.

And, get this, the probation department can't test Lindsay anymore for drugs or alcohol because there's no court order allowing it.

Prosecutors asked to reinstate mandatory drug and alcohol testing; Sautner declined the request.

How does that even make sense????

For the time being, Lindsay can booze it up all she wants!

The DA's office strongly refuted Judge Sautner's findings and have requested a review of Judge Fox's ruling from October.

Judge Sautner did, however, "punish" Lindsay by saying she can no longer have any parties at her Venice pad while under house arrest. Boo hoo!

Lohan can now only have one guest over at a time, in addition to family members.

Judge Sautner said the only thing Lindsay was guilty of was "extremely poor judgment by having roof parties while on home confinement" but added, "poor judgment is not a violation of your probation."

She also told the former actress not to do stupid things that fly in the face of the court's order.

Judge Sautner asked Lindsay if she wanted to get on with her life. Lindsay replied, "Yes I do."

Somehow, we don't believe her!

Lohan is scheduled to be released from house arrest Wednesday.

Lindsay's next court appearance is set to be a progress report at the end of July.

Jamie Foxx To Play Tarantino's Django?

First we heard that Leo is on board for the evil plantation owner in Tarantino's new "southern" (slightly different than a "western"), and now we're getting word that Quentin is casting Jamie Foxx for the lead role of Django!

So here's what we know casting wise:

Foxx will play the title role of Django, a freed slave who teams with a German bounty hunter to take on an evil plantation owner in order to retrieve his long-lost love, Broomhilda. Kerry Washington, who played opposite Foxx in "Ray," has met with Tarantino for the latter role; she's one of a handful of contenders in the mix. Leonardo DiCaprio has been set as the sadistic slavemaster Calvin Candie, while Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" star Christoph Waltz will play Django's friend and mentor. Samuel L. Jackson is expected to play Stephen, Candie's right-hand man.

Sounds like a fab cast so far!

The role of Django was originally offered to Will Smith, who apparently turned it down. Probably because it was controversial and could have an effect on his clean image.

The casting for the lead took about a month, and saw auditions from Idris Elba, Terrence Howard and Chris Tucker.

It will be very inneresting to see Jamie in this role, but in the end we think he'll be the right choice. Quentin always nails his casting!

Katie Couric's Father Has Passed Away

Even at his age, it doesn't make it easy, especially for Katie and those close to him.

Katie Couric's dad, John, passed away at 90 after fighting Parkinson's disease.

He had a very full life, and had a very successful, kind, and wonderful daughter. Here's a bit about his life:

Couric's father was a former journalist who reported from the southern U.S. and Washington, DC in the 1940s and 1950s before becoming a public relations professional, according to an obituary in the Washington Post. The elder Couric told the Post in 1991 that he supported Katie's decision to go into broadcast journalism: "I encouraged her to go into broadcasting because I thought it was more promising than print, having been in print myself."

Katie has expressed gratitude towards the many messages of condolences and support from her fans and followers on twitter, too:

"Thank you to all the kind people expressing their sympathy to my family. The loss is profound and I am grateful for your support."

We're sorry for your loss, Katie. He sounds like he was a good man!

It's Over! Winklevoss Twins Finally Drop Facebook Lawsuit!

Good! As we said last month, it's time for them to move on.

To recap....as we saw in The Social Network, the Winklevoss twins sued Mark Zuckerberg for turning their failed ConnectU project into Facebook.

THEN the twins Winklevii were being sued by Wayne Chang, who was also involved with ConnectU. He claimed that he was elbowed out of the $65 million settlement between the Winklevoss twins and Facebook.

AND THEN the twins re-ignited their lawsuit with Facebook, and tried to bring the suit to the Supreme Court, in an effort to get the settlement invalidated.

Now, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss have decided to let it go and keep their settlement.

Here's what Facebook said in response:

"We've considered this case closed for a long time, and we're pleased to see the other party now agrees."

Not the NICEST response that Zuckerberg and co. could have come up with, but ah well! We're just glad to hear that this is all over now.

Are U pleased to hear that this lawsuit is done? Or do U think the Winklevoss Twins deserve more money from Facebook?

Justin Theroux clad all in leather (yum), was spotted in NYC yesterday, posing for acclaimed photographer Terry Richardson.

Seems the pair have become fast friends! Out to dinner one night, photo shoot the next! Such is Hollywood!

Justin posed with a black BMW motorcycle and when he positioned himself just right, you could see his delectable Calvin Klein undies while hugging his tush!

Now we get what Jennifer Aniston sees in him!
