Posted: 29 Jun 2011 03:30 PM PDT

Last weekend we got our first listen of Björk‘s new single Crystalline, which is taken from her upcoming new album Biophilia. Today we get to check out the single cover artwork for Crystalline as the song has been released for sale on iTunes. Click below to see the cover photo for Crystalline … and take another listen of the amazing track itself.

While it may look like Björk is channeling her inner Rihanna with this crazy red wig, I can assure you … it’s all Björk. I am crazy in love with Crystalline. In case you missed it before or just want another listen, here you go:

Fantastic song … I can’t wait to hear more!

Watch: Author Neil Gaiman Does ‘The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson’

Posted: 29 Jun 2011 02:30 PM PDT

Earlier this month we learned that Tom Hanks has teamed up with HBO to produce a 6-season TV series based on the amazing Neil Gaiman novel American Gods and last night, to promote the 10th anniversary of the American Gods novel, Gaiman was a guest on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Click below to watch Neil‘s interview last night to see what an incredibly charming man he truly is.

I love Neil so much. He is such an amazing writer, no question, but his personality makes him all the more lovable. I say this all the time but we are SO lucky to have him as an author. His storytelling is unmatched among modern authors. I honestly and truly love every thing he’s ever done. If you’ve never read his work, you MUST! Trust me … he is a genius. In regards to the American Gods TV series, Gaiman sat down with MTV to discuss plans for the show:

Squee … I am just so excited!!! There is so much amazing Gaiman goodness on the horizon, I can barely contain myself. Woot!!!

Incidentally, Paris Hilton was the guest on The Late Late Show last night right before Gaiman … click HERE to watch her interivew so you can compare the range of guests that Craig Ferguson gets on his show ;)

Robert Pattinson Gets A Pie In The Face On The Set Of His New Movie

Posted: 29 Jun 2011 01:30 PM PDT

A few weeks ago we saw photos of Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson on the Toronto, Ontario set of his new film Cosmopolis and, as you may recall, he was lookin’ fine and dapper. Today we get to see new photos of R. Pattz on set and, well, he is not lookin’ clean … at all. For some reason, that will likely be made evident once the film comes out, Rob‘s character gets a pie in the face. Click below to see photos of a very messy-looking Rob on set last night.

LOL! These photos are hilarious … but, strangely enough, R. Pattz manages to make even pie in the face look hot. HMMM. I wonder if there is anyone out there who would like to lick this stuff off his face for him. Any takers?

Rihanna Gets ‘LOUD’ In Los Angeles

Posted: 29 Jun 2011 11:30 AM PDT

Last night David and I met up with our friends Ollie, Woody and Darion for a fun concert night at the Staples Center to see Rihanna on her Loud Tour. Darion and I saw Rihanna on tour last year so we were very excited to see her perform again this year. I managed to stay away from photos and videos of this tour so as not to spoil the show and was very happy to see that Rihanna‘s live show changed pretty dramatically from last year to this year. Click below to see some photos of Ri Ri‘s live performance last night.

While Rihanna put on a fantastic show, the consensus among the group was that her performance was not as high energy as it could’ve been. To be clear, Rihanna sings live thruout this entire show and she busts a move here and there … but the tone of the concert was kinda mid-tempo thruout. Her usual club bangers weren’t really loud at all, to be honest. That said, I personally really enjoyed myself and had a great time last night. I can’t say that Rihanna‘s Loud Tour is a high energy, blow your mind kind of show … but Rihanna does sing her greatest hits with all her heart and that alone is worth the price of admission.

Here is a photo of me with Darion and Woody:

David and Ollie were seated on the other side of the Staples Center. I know they had fun … but not as much fun as we did ;)

This afternoon, I may be heading out to an early showing of Transformers: Dark of the Moon and tonight David and I are meeting up with Adriana at the LACMA to see the new Tim Burton Exhibit. Later tonight, I’m hoping to make it out to one of Ollie’s DJ parties so … today should be a fun-filled day. Happy Hump Day!

Cobra Starship are readying the release of a new album titled Night Shades and this week are unveiling a music video for the album’s first single You Make Me Feel … The Starship has teamed up with Sabi (who provides guest vocals on Britney Spears‘s song (Drop Dead) Beautiful) for the track. Click below to see Cobra Starship featuring Sabi in the vid for You Make Me Feel …

Cobra Starship's music video for "You Make Me Feel… (Feat. Sabi)" made its world premiere today on MTV. The song is available now on iTunes and is currently charting in the Top 40 at Pop Radio outlets nationwide . "You Make Me Feel… (Feat. Sabi)" is the first single off of Cobra Starship's upcoming album, Night Shades which will be available later this summer on Decaydance / Fueled By Ramen.

Here is an embed of the video for those of you outside the US who cannot see the MTV embed above:

I really like this song … it’s very Cobra Starship, which means it’s very fun. I had the pleasure of meeting Sabi at that private Britney Spears tour rehearsal a few weeks ago and let me tell you, she is the cutest thing EVER! I am so happy to see that she is guesting with Cobra Starship on this single. What do y’all think of this new track/video? Any Starship fans in the hiz? Do we love Sabi or what?

A First Batch Of UK Promo Posters For ‘Fright Night’ Have Been Released

Posted: 29 Jun 2011 09:14 AM PDT

Earlier this month we got to see the newest movie trailer for the remake film Fright Night (which features a blink and you missed it scene of David Tenant shirtless) and today we get to see a new batch of character posters released for the film in the UK. The four main Fright Night characters get their own posters … but, very unfortuantely, each is splashed with a horribly cheesy tagline. Click below to check ‘em out.

Our friends across the pond scored themselves four new character one-sheets for the upcoming remake of the Tom Holland film Fright Night. Eye candy or eyesore? Fright Night 3D has been rated R for “bloody horror violence and language including some sexual references.” Look for Fright Night in US theatres on August 19th, 2011 and in the UK on September 2nd.

Oh man … cheese-o-rama. But, on second thought, I don’t mind the cheesiness. I just rewatched the original Fright Night over the weekend and was reminded how cheesy the original film is. If this remake can stay true to the original in that way, then it could be a fun reinterpretation of Fright Night. I’m hoping David Tenant will be this film’s saving grace. I can’t wait to see it!

‘Material Girl’ Releases A New Batch Of Kelly Osbourne Promo Photos

Posted: 29 Jun 2011 08:26 AM PDT

Back in February, Madonna and daughter Lourdes Maria unveiled the new 2011 campaign for their juniors clothing line Material Girl which featured celebrity spokesmodel Kelly Osbourne. Today, MG unveils the Summer campaign with Kelly O as the featured spokemodel. Click below to see the new promo images for the line, available excuslively at Macy’s, along with some behind the scenes photos and video which feature Kelly palling around NYC with Madonna and Lola.

I have to say, I much prefer Kelly as the Material Girl spokesmodel over Taylor Momsen (who was the first MG spokesmodel when the line launched last year). I think Kelly wears the clothes much better. I also love how Madonna is smart enough to appear in at least a few behind the scenes promo images just to remind everyone that this is her clothing line with daughter Lola:

In this behind the scenes video, you can tell that Kelly and Lourdes had a blast shooting this campaign all over NYC:

All you material girls better get on down to Macy’s to snap up these new threads. C’mon, you know you want to … it’s what all the cool kids are wearing ;) What do y’all think of this campaign? Do you love it?
