Just Kidding About The Winklevoss Twins: They've Filed A New Lawsuit Against Facebook Posted: 24 Jun 2011 12:45 PM PDT Who here thinks they should just give it up already? We thought they had! But, as it turns out, it looks like the Winklevii are going to try and sue every avenue they can to get Facebook back. It's kinda sad, really. And looks desperate. They started brand new legal action the day after they ended their main litigation. This is what they're whining about now: Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss claimed in a legal papers that Facebook 'intentionally or inadvertently suppressed evidence' during the previous court battle. The brothers want undisclosed damages and have filed a fresh complaint to a court in Massachusetts. The Winklevoss brothers and and their business partner Divya Narendra say that Facebook should have disclosed instant message conversations by Zuckerberg in which he reportedly called those who shared information on the website 'dumb f****'. They later emerged in on-line blogs and newspapers. The claim in the Massachusetts court is that Facebook should have disclosed those communications when they put together the 2008 settlement. We're not going to lie here, this really seems like it's ridiculously tying up courts that could be used towards real issues. The court system is already abused with unnecessary lawsuits, why should they keep entertaining these rich, entitled dudes that don't even need any kind of settlement at all? A win wouldn't even clear how the public sees them at this point! But we digress. While we don't know much beyond the basic filing, we're sure we'll hear about how much in damages and more specifics soon! Do U agree that the Winklevii should just give it up?? Forget 3D! Spy Kids 4 Will Be Scratch'N'Sniff! Posted: 24 Jun 2011 12:30 PM PDT Robert Rodriguez is a revolutionary! ...Actually, he's not, because Smell-o-Vision and AromaRama were gimmicks used to bring people into movie theaters back in the 50's, but he's reviving the technique. That's right, folks. Robert Rodriguez will be introducing Aromascope with his upcoming August release Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4-D (above). Here's what he had to say about his revival of the 50's gimmick: "After Spy Kids 3, I had to do something new, add another surprise. I had actors smelling things on set, but they never questioned it." "It's very fun and interactive since you never know where and when a smell will come next. It adds a lot of extra laughs." "You never know. It would be great if it caught on and everyone started doing it." For those of you wondering how this works, when you go see Spy Kids, you'll be given a card "loaded with eight different smells." Yeah, it's a lot like scratch'n'sniff stickers. Remember those? This actually could bring up all types of inneresting advertising opportunities! What if Jeremy Piven uses Axe shampoo in the movie, and one of the smells is actually a sample of the product! They could then sell bottles of shampoo by the concession stand!!! If that kind of thing starts to happen, you heard it here first! LOLz. Are U excited for Aromascope? Jerry Lewis Rushed To The Hospital Posted: 24 Jun 2011 12:20 PM PDT Oh no! Say it aint so! Remember how we kept you up to date about American comedian, Jerry Lewis, and his struggle with muscular dystrophy? Well now the slapstick legend has been rushed to the hospital after he couldn't step out of his car before an Australian show. The incident came as a shock since Lewis had shown no symptoms throughout the day. Lewis has been performing in a series of shows for the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation all across the land down under. Surely audience members were let down since the famous comedian has been producing laughs since the 40's with Dean Martin. David Jack, CEO of the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation issued this statement: We would like to apologize to people who purchased tickets for tonight's show, but in unforeseen circumstances Jerry was not well enough to take the stage. New Deets On Illegal Celeb Poker Game! Hookers And Cocaine Were Involved!!! Posted: 24 Jun 2011 12:00 PM PDT Earlier this week, we heard all about an underground poker game which is attended by Tobey Maguire, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck. As we mentioned before, the game is run by "a Beverly Hills hedge fund manager who embezzled investor funds and orchestrated a Ponzi scheme in a desperate bid to pay off his monster debt to the star and others." We had also mentioned that Tobey Maguire is being sued, because the fund manager Brad Ruderman used investor money to pay off a $300K+ debt to Tobey. Maguire has hired a lawyer and is trying to argue that the games weren't illegal, which doesn't surprise us at all! We've heard that he was making upwards of #1 million/month, so of course he wants to keep the games going! Looks like it's going to be pret-ty difficult for Tobey to prove that these games were legal, because we've now learned that cocaine AND hookers were involved. Yikes! Here's what a source had to say about it: "It was known to a handful of us that one player would keep two hookers down the hall of the hotel in another room. He would disppear for 30-minutes at a time, leaving the main players in the game frustrated. In reality, he was getting to do blow (in a room with) two hookers." The source says that the celebs we mentioned above weren't aware of the hookers and cocaine. Crazy! Were other celebs there too? Are we gonna learn that another celebrity has been doing cocaine and "meeting with" hookers at these games??? What do U think about all of this? Do U approve of these games? Geez! According the The National Enquirer, Owen Wilson has ended things with his baby momma Jade Duell over a fear of commitment. After the split, Jade reportedly took their son to New York to get some space from Owen, which has only made things worse. Now, Owen reportedly deeply regrets breaking things off with Jade and is a total "mess." A source explains: "He cries all day and blames himself for ruining his life again. He loves his son Robert more than anything, and he's kicking himself for not giving his relation­ship with Jade enough time." He wouldn't be the first man to be afraid of commitment, but we also have a hard time believing commitment would scare him after he had a child with this woman! It just doesn't make sense! R.I.P. Peter Falk Posted: 24 Jun 2011 11:05 AM PDT We're very sad to report that beloved Columbo star Peter Falk passed away Thursday evening at his Beverly Hills home, at the age of 83. Although the cause of death is currently unknown, the actor had been suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's disease for the past few years.
