Watch: Dr. Dre Features In A New ‘Imported From Detroit’ Commercial For Chrysler

Back in February, Chrysler debuted a fantastic Super Bowl commercial for their new Chrysler 200 car which featured Detroit native Eminem in the clip. Titled Imported from Detroit, the commercial not only highlighted the Chrysler 200 but it also highlighted the spirit, strength and beauty of Detroit, MI itself. Today we get to see another Chrysler commercial from their Imported from Detroit campaign but this ad features Eminem‘s friend Dr. Dre in the Chrysler 300S. What is special about the Chrysler 300S is that the car is outfitted with The Beats audio system. The Beats is Dre‘s own sound system company and the audio effect in this car is “designed to replicate the audio experience the artist has inside the recording studio”. This is an amazing collaboration between The Beats by Dr. Dre and Chrysler Motor Company. I really hope inventive things like this continue to help the Automotive Industry in Detroit flourish. There is still a long way to go … but Detroit is on the right track … thanks to offering these kinds of amazing products.

It turns out that that artwork was a fake because today the official single artwork for the track has been released for our viewing pleasure. Eliza Dushku Shares A Photo & A Video From The Set Of ‘White Collar’

Buffyverse alum Eliza Dushku joined her former Tru Callling co-star Matt Bomer on the set of his new TV series White Collar to film a guest appearance on his show. Because she loves to share, Eliza posted a cute photo with Bomer from the set along with a video showing off her new Dush’do hair’do. It’s unknown when Eliza‘s ep of White Collar will air but this photo and video gives us a great tease for her upcoming appearance.

I have to confess, I don’t watch White Collar (yes, despite the hotness of Matt Bomer) but I may have to tune in when Eliza‘s episode airs. First Look: ‘The Avengers’ Releases A First Teaser Poster

Back in April we got our first look at the first photo taken on the set of the upcoming Marvel Comics superhero film The Avengers, directed by Joss Whedon. Today we get our first look at the first teaser poster for the film. This poster comes from a recent press conference for the Licensing International Expo scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, LV. Click below to check out this first teaser poster.

The Avengers picks up when an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security. And Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.

This teaser poster is using very prominently the official movie logo which we first saw last August. My guess is that we will be seeing the first video footage from the film very soon … sometime this Summer. I am assuming that we may see the first teaser footage at San Diego Comic Con or possibly in front of the theater release of Captain America: The First Avenger. This poster is great … but I deffo want to see more!

David Beckham Supports Cruz Beckham At His Own Soccer Game

Last month we saw cute photos of Cruz Beckham supporting his dad David Beckham at an LA Galaxy training session and this weekend, it was Daddy Becks‘s turn to return the favor. Becks was on hand to lend his support on the sidelines at one of Cruz‘s soccer games this weekend … proving that you don’t have to be just an athlete but you can also be an athletic supporter :D


I have no doubt that the Beckham children will be able to do in life whatever their little hearts desire. I always assumed that at least one of the Beckham boys would follow in their father’s famous soccer footsteps and it just may be little Cruz that will do so. It’s clear that Becks‘s nurturing will go far in helping the Beckham children realize their full potential. I think if I had David Beckham rooting for and training me at that age, I’d grow up to be a soccer phenom, too. And can we just talk about what Becks is wearing in these photos? Who else IN THE WORLD can wear nondescript, boring gray sweat clothes and still make them look hot? Lord. Next thing you know, Becks will be the spokesmodel for these boring sweatpants and sweatshirts. In any event, these photos are pretty fun for a bunch of reasons … but mostly because Becks really shows his love for his son at every chance possible.

New Parents P!nk & Carey Hart Bring Newborn Willow Sage Home From The Hospital

Last Friday we learned the happy news that singer P!nk and her motocross motorcycling hubby Carey Hart gave birth to their first born child, a daughter they named Willow Sage. Today we learn that the new mommy and daddy brought home their bouncing bundle of joy from the hospital. The front gate of the Hart home was decorated with a lovely heart wreath … that was waiting for them as they arrived in their black SUV with baby on board.


It’s not at all uncommon for a baby to be released from the hospital so soon after birth but somehow this seems really quick to me. Still, it’s a very good sign that P!nk and Carey are able to bring Willow home from the hospital so quickly … that means she is a very healthy baby. I’m certain we’ll be getting our first look at little Willow soon enough. The baby photos could be published in a magazine or, ever the Twitter fan, P!nk could post the first photo on her official Twitter profile. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime, here’s hoping the happy Hart family can spend as much time as they need getting to know one another in their loving home … together.

‘Winter Is Coming’

For various reasons, our plans for yesterday didn’t really pan out so David and I ended up staying home all day long … which, in retrospect, was really for the best. As a result of all that couch time I had, I finally succumbed and started watching the new HBO series Game of Thrones that seemingly everyone is talking about. I have to admit, at first I thought the series looked a little too much like Xena: Warrior Princess for my liking but after watching the first 8 eps in a row, I’m happy to say I love the show entirely.


Truth be told, I actually fell in love with the series after episode one. Even tho I really had no idea what was going on, I liked the pace and feel of the show. While I love some fantasy fiction, I’m not a huge fan of the genre overall … thankfully, Game of Thrones doesn’t feel so much like a fantasy tale. It kinda feels more like historical fiction. There are a lot of great actors in Game of Thrones with great parts to play. I found it very easy to watch the string of 8 eps in a row without getting tired, bored or confused about anything. I am really intrigued by where the story seems to be going and I found myself dying for another ep after I finished the newest, 8th episode. If the show sounds interesting to you, I suggest you check out the premiere ep. That ep will give you a good taste for the show and you’ll prolly know right off if Game of Thrones is for you. I got hooked, you may get hooked too.

So yeah … that was my Sunday. Today, David and I will be trekking down to Anaheim, CA to spend the evening/night celebrating Ollie’s birthday at Disneyland. I’m ashamed to admit that it’s been far too long since I’ve been to Disney so I’m excited. The weather is cooler today … hopefully that will make for a really pleasant day at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Congratulations are in order for Twilight actress Nikki Reed and American Idol contestant Paul McDonald because the couple announced their engagement to the world at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards yesterday evening. What is really surprising about this engagement news is that the couple have only been dating for about 2 months … but at 26 and 23, I guess these crazy kids know what they are doing.

After meeting in March, Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald embarked upon a whirlwind romance – and now they’ve taken the next step. The Breaking Dawn star, 23, and her American Idol alum beau, 26, are engaged, a source confirms to PEOPLE. Posing together at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards, the couple showed off a sparkler on Reed’s left ring finger as she told E!, “He’s the one.” And to those who are concerned that the pair may be moving too fast, the actress – who is reportedly house hunting with McDonald – has an answer. “I love him and I don’t care,” Reed told PEOPLE in May. “I’ve never met anyone like him. I’ve never met anyone who has such a good solid heart and comes from such a good solid family and is just a genuine person. We have the exact same sense of humor. I’ve never laughed so much with anyone as I do with him.”


Ah, young love … impetuous, spontaneous, sometimes foolish young love. IMHO, it seems a bit too soon to be talking marriage after only about 2 months of dating but I guess when you know, you know. Here’s hoping the couple enjoy a very long and very happy life together. Let’s send the couple our heartiest congrats, yes? And our best wishes for a happy marriage.

Are Jennifer Aniston & Justin Theroux Hollywood’s Hot New Couple?

For the past few weeks there have been reports that actress Jennifer Aniston and actor Justin Theroux have been hooking up all over town while trying to keep this new relationship under wraps. Aniston went so far as to deny that she and Justin were nothing more than friends but … well, the couple just kept on creepin’ together. This weekend, the pair partied with Saturday Night Live castmember Jason Sudeikis after he hosted the 2011 MTV Movie Awards and, well, they sure looked coupley. So are they or aren’t they?

He’s her rumoured new man after years of romantic disappointment – so you can hardly blame Jennifer Aniston for keeping a close eye on Justin Theroux. The 42-year-old former Friends actress has apparently been dating the actor and screenwriter for a few weeks, but their appearance at the MTV Movie Awards after party was the first time they’ve been out officially together. The pair were at the Los Angeles branch of Soho House after the ceremony … According to People magazine’s Lesley Messer, Justin is a ‘little edgier’ than Jen’s previous dalliances – with is going some considering John Mayer is an ex. Lesley continued: ‘Apparently, she’s really happy.’ However, last month, a representative for Jen insisted the two are just good friends. According to ABC news, Jen threw a small get-together for her best friends including Chelsea Handler and Courteney Cox on May 27 to introduce them to Theroux, who co-wrote Tropic Thunder. A source told People magazine: ‘They all had a great time and enjoyed Justin’s company.’ The magazine says that Jen and Justin, 39, met on the set of movie Wanderlust last autumn.

Now, it’s entirely possible that Jennifer and Justin are hanging out so much lately because they’ve got a new film coming out … and nothing says free publicity like rumors of a new love affair. That being said, it’s also quite possible that Jen may have FINALLY found love with Justin. I’ve been a fan of Theroux‘s for a while and while I am not in love with the beard, he is deffo a hottie (and a big step up from John Mayer). It remains to be seen if this new dalliance will turn out to be true love … or much ado about nothing … but I expect we’ll be hearing more about this new coupling for some time to come. So what do y’all think? Are these two together together? If so, do you like Justifer as a couple?

It’s Official! Nicole Scherzinger Replaces Cheryl Cole As Judge On ‘The X Factor’

Last month we learned that Fox and Freemantle Productions were seriously considering replacing British singer Cheryl Cole as judge on the US version of the singing competition show The X Factor because producers fear her too thick British accent might be too difficult for US audiences to understand. It was reported that US singer Nicole Scherzinger was being courted as her replacement. Just yesterday, we learned of a report that claimed that Cheryl might not be cut from the show after all because she would still be owned her $1.5 million dollar contract fee, even if she does not judge the show. But today, Fox and Freemantle have officially announced that Cheryl has been replaced by Nicole as a judge on The X Factor. Read the statement in full below.

"Nicole Scherzinger will be replacing Cheryl Cole on the judging panel of The X Factor. Nicole will join Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Paula Abdul on their search across America to find the next global superstar or group to win the life-changing $5 million dollar recording deal. Nicole has previously joined Simon Cowell as a guest judge on The X Factor for the UK version of the show in 2010. Steve Jones will act as sole host of The X Factor."

Wow. They really did it. So now we know, for sure, that Nicole Scherzinger will join Paula Abdul, Antonio L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell on the judging panel … and Cheryl Cole will get the shaft? She will still have to be paid her $1.5 million. It remains to be seen if they will just cut her a check and send her on her way OR if they will find a new job for her on the show. I suppose it’s possible that Fox/Freemantle could give Cheryl Nicole‘s old co-hosting job but if her accent is truly the issue, that might not work out either. One thing’s for sure, the X Factor judging panel has been decided so that part of the show has been put to rest. But what will happen to Cheryl? That, my friends, is the $1.5 million dollar question.

Chris Hemsworth Gets Wetsuited Up

Chris Hemsworth, the hunky Aussie actor who portrays Thor the God of Thunder in the superhero film of the same name, ventured out to Long Beach, CA this weekend to take in some sun and surf … which turned out to be a blessing to anyone with eyes. Hemsworth decked himself out in a rubber wetsuit, which he half-peeled off his massive body … which you can enjoy seeing below.


Oh yes, producers chose well when they cast Hemsworth as the God of Thunder. He deffo has the physique to make a believer out of anyone. Whew! I mean … yeah. Summer is just getting warmed up so here’s hoping this weekend’s beach outing is only the first of many of these types of surfing excursions. Ain’t Summer just the best time of the year? Le sigh.

Watch: ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′ Releases A First Movie Trailer

Last week we got a sneak peek at the first video footage released from the upcoming two-part sequel film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 that was due for release during the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. It turns out that the footage, the film’s first movie trailer, leaked to the Internets hours before the Movie Awards aired on TV … and in case you missed it, or just want to watch it again, you can check out the video trailer in full below.


To be honest, this trailer is a great teaser for the first Breaking Dawn film. Those of us who have read the book know what will happen in Breaking Dawn and we know that Part 1 will cover the first half of the book … but it’s unclear where exactly the first film will finish and the second film will begin. Part 1 will feature the wedding of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen (and the Jacob Black drama that goes along with that event) as well as the subsequent honeymoon (and the raucous sex scene that is sure to be featured). Beyond that, it’s not entirely clear how far Part 1 will go. The clip shows us that Bella gets pregnant … so … my guess is the baby stuff (and beyond) will come in Part 2. As for this first trailer, are you impressed? I know I greatly appreciate that Taylor Lautner‘s short appearance in the clip is highlighted by his shirtlessness … for that reason alone, I’m happy with this trailer … are you?

Watch: ‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows – Part 2′ Releases A New Preview Video Clip

Last night Warner Bros. released a short preview clip from the upcoming sequel film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 that featured the final showdown between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort. Altho the clip is actually very short (too short for my liking), it is deffo worth seeing because it features new footage from the final Harry Potter film. Check out the clip below.


Despite the fact that this clip shows a very pivotal scene from the final Harry Potter film, due out in theaters in July, I am really bummed that the clip is so short … and dark … short and dark. That being said, I guess I really don’t want to see too much from the film … not just yet. The end is coming … faster than we would like … I suppose short clips like this only feed our desire to see more. What do y’all think of this new Harry Potter clip? Is it enough for you or do you want more?

Watch: Robert Pattinson Kisses Taylor Lautner, Drops The F-Bomb At The 2011 MTV Movie Awards

Robert Pattinson caused quite a sensation at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles, CA last night with two very special acts. First, while accepting the award for Best Kiss (which Pattinson won for his on screen kiss with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart), R. Pattz fled into the audience to plant a couple of kisses on his male co-star Taylor Lautner (yes, not just one kiss). Then, while paying homage to another co-star, Reese Witherspoon, R. Pattz accidentally (on purpose?) blurted out the word “fuck” on live television. Watch video of both of these incidents below.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart won the MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss, but it was Pattinson’s lip lock with the other nominated “Twilight” star that stole the show on Sunday night. After the on and off-screen pair teased the audience that they’d finally kiss on stage after last year’s head fake, Pattinson said, “I just think there’s someone else in the audience who I think will appreciate it a little more.” With Stewart’s encouragement, the night’s big winner — he took home four awards overall — rushed into the audience to find Lautner and, in a moment that made fan fiction real and set millions of teen (and, to be fair grown women) hearts a flutter, planted a gigantic kiss on his younger, werewolf rival. And then, while back on stage, intimated that he wanted to do the same to Stewart — only backstage. Which, of course, was only his second most buzzed about line — the first involved a bit of a F-bomb slip up while presenting to Reese Witherspoon.

Speechifying alongside Chelsea Handler and Patrick Dempsey in a tribute to Generation Award winner Reese Witherspoon, Pattinson went off script to bungle a joke about having once played Witherspoon’s son in a scene eventually cut from “Vanity Fair,” and then her lover in the film, “Water for Elephants,” which was released this year. "I didn't cut you out, but I did fuck you," he said — and without bleeping, as the censor missed the unexpected bomb.


LMAOOOOOOOOOO!!! I’m not sure what got into Mr. Pattinson but he was TRULY the highlight of the entire show. Rob kissed Taylor 3 times … on the face, on the head and on the hand. LOVE! The unexpected kiss was funny, if amazingly awkward, but the f-bomb was just priceless. I can’t be sure but it looked (and sounded) a bit like Pattinson was a bit boozed during his appearances on stage last night … both of his incidents last night looked a wee bit like they were fueled by liquid courage. Nonetheless, I was thoroughly entertained. Gotta love that Pattinson, eh?
