The First Little Ladies of the White House, Malia and Sasha Obama, were spotted starting off their summer vacation off right with a visit to Universal Studios Hollywood! The girls were joined by their grandmother - and a gaggle of the Secret Service and White House staffers - as they toured the park, hopping on the Simpson's Ride and the Studio Tour! Such fun! Hopefully, there will be tons of little trips like these for the girls to enjoy this summer!

Authorities Confirm Teen Mom's Attempted Suicide. Posted: 14 Jun 2011 01:01 PM PDT So tragic. She needs an extraordinary amount of help. It's been confirmed by authorities that Teen Mom's Amber Portwood, who was rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious in her home with a rope around her neck, did indeed, try to commit suicide. According to a source close to the family, baby daddy Gary Shirley became concerned for her state of mind after the two had a disturbing phone conversation, so he sent her mother to go and check on the reality starlet, which is when she was discovered. She was immediately brought to the emergency room, where she was stabilized and later admitted to taking a cocktail of pills. According to the police report: "Late this morning (11:34 a.m.), Anderson Police responded to a call at a residence in the 1300 block of Pleasant Meadow Drive. According to the caller, 21-year-old Amber L. Portwood was depressed and threatening to end her life. The victim, who did not appear to be injured, was transported to a local medical facility for further evaluation. Two policemen arrived, found her face-up on the couch and immediately called for an ambulance. When two EMT workers arrived, they removed the rope that Amber had loosely knotted around her neck. They tried speaking with her, but she was in and out of consciousness and couldn't respond; she was just moaning. They gave her an oxygen mask, put her on a gurney, and rushed her to the hospital." And to think that she was just beginning to put her legal woes behind her… Such a shame. And that poor baby Leah. We truly hope that this young woman can get the help that she clearly, clearly needs, and that she can come to realize what a HOriffic, dire mistake taking her life would have been. Our thoughts continue to be with her, as well as her family, friends, child, and loved ones during this sad time.

Teen Mom Amber Portwood was rushed to an Indiana hospital around noon today, after reportedly being "found unconscious" at her home. A source says she was found "possibly with a rope around her neck." According to the source, Amber admitted to taking pills while at the hospital. Such a sad situation! For better or for worse you're a mother now, Amber, and if things have gotten so bad that you feel suicide is the only way out, you need to seek professional help. Taking pills or hanging yourself by a rope is not the way to solve your issues. Our thoughts and prayers are with Amber, her daughter, and her family during this difficult time. We wish her a full recovery, and we hope she seeks the help she so desperately needs.

Democrats Want To Recover From Weiner Scandal - But How?! Posted: 14 Jun 2011 12:10 PM PDT It's kind of hard to move past the problem when the problem just won't leave! Yeah, we're talking to you, Weiner! Even though the President of The United States admitted he'd resign if he were in Weiner's shoes, Rep. Anthony Weiner refuses to leave his post in Congress. Democrats are scrambling to figure out how to save face in the midst of this scandal, but they are left with very few options. But let's get back to the President for a second. This morning, on The Today Show, President Obama went on the record to say that the congressman's actions were "highly inappropriate" and swore he would be reacting differently if he was in this type of scandal. He explained: "I think he's embarrassed himself. He's acknowledged that. He's embarrassed his wife and his family. Ultimately, there's going to be a decision for him and his constituents. I can tell you that, if it was me, I would resign." He might not have to make that decision to be honest. We hear that while Weiner has disappeared to seek treatment for "an undisclosed disorder at an undisclosed location," the House quickly approved a two-week leave of absence for him and today are meeting behind closed doors to discuss Weiner's future in congress. No doubt they are devising ways to force him out of office should he continue to ignore pleas to resign willingly. Dude, just let it go. Your political career is over. In November, we posted this video (above) of Tracy Morgan talking about bullying and urging people to be "kind to one another" in the wake of so many young gay teens committing suicide. His words kind of hang in the air now after he so hatefully went back on them last week with his homophobic stand-up routine. Still, it offers a side of Tracy we hope to see more of now. Perhaps NBC will make him do more PSAs like this or join other outreach efforts to teach others (and himself) not to be so homophobic. We hope you're learning from this mistake, Tracy. We really do.

We reported today that the marriage between Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris has been called off, and the bride-to-be quickly moved out of the Playboy mansion, and now, we've gotten word that it's all because she's involved with another man - Dr. Phil's son, Jordan! WTF?! An insider reveals: "The wedding is off and everything has been canceled. Hef is in shock. Crystal bailed and left the mansion at 11pm Sunday night. She has a boyfriend. She is seeing Dr. Phil's son, Jordan. She thinks she is going to be living with all of Dr. Phil's millions." Katie Couric's CBS Evening News Replacement Doesn't Bring In The Ratings Posted: 14 Jun 2011 11:20 AM PDT Looks like Katie Couric's replacement is JUST getting by… Last month, we heard that 60 Minutes' Scott Pelley was taking over Katie's CBS Evening News anchor position, and we were feeling pretty good about it. Now, Pelley has taken over, and his ratings aren't BAD at all…but they're not anything fantastic. During his first week, Pelley averaged 5.7 million viewers, which matched Couric's average ratings for May. His ratings were a bit LOWER, though, than the average for Katie's substitute anchor Harry Smith. Ah well! Hopefully he's able to maintain his current ratings at the very least.
