Countdown Back To The Big House: Federal Judge Wants To Holla At T.I. About His Three Probation Violations Posted: 17 Sep 2010 05:08 AM PDT As you might have guessed by now, T.I.’s recent marital pill-poppin’ adventure is probably going to land him back behind bars. Turns out his visit to the L.A. County jail violated his probation three times. And a federal judge in Atlanta wants to talk to him about it… at some point. U.S. District Judge Charles Pannel Jr. signed the summons for T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris. The same judge sentenced Harris for firearms violations. The order lists three possible violations of his bond: possession of ecstasy on Sept. 1, testing positive for opiates on Sept. 2 and associating on Sept. 1 with Cortez Thomas, a convicted felon. Pannell did not set a date for the hearing. Good job, Clifford. Then again, this IS T.I.: maybe this is all promotion for his next album. We saw how well he parlayed being a felon into sales for Paper Trail. And he WAS in studio the night he got popped in Hollyweird. source

Update: The Broad Did Lie! Admits Acid Splash Was A Hoax Posted: 17 Sep 2010 04:36 AM PDT Cuckoo Bethany Storro has finally admitted that no one else was responsible for her face full of acid. Storro brokedown while being questioned by one-time in Vancouver, Washington on Thursday about the inconsistencies in her story. Bethany Storro was being interviewed by detectives, and whether she will be charged will be up to prosecutors, police said. “She is extremely upset,” said police Commander Marla Schuman. “She is very remorseful. In many ways it got bigger than she expected.” What police still don’t know, however is her motivation. Police would not speculate on Storro’s motives, only saying the August 30 incident did not occur as she described and that there were discrepancies in her account, including wearing sunglasses in the evening.They also had questions about the liquid’s splash patterns on Storro’s face. Officers acquired a search warrant and conducted a search Thursday morning. They removed several undisclosed items, but said they did not find a substance that might have caused her injuries. Poor thang! What could POSSIBLY have been that deep? SMH at her blaming it on “a black woman”! source

Illegal drug use in America has risen to the highest level since 2002, according to a government report, driven by increases in the use of marijuana, ecstasy, and methamphetamine. Here are some of the figures: * 21.8 million Americans (8.7 percent of the over-12 population) told survey takers that they’d used drugs in 2009, the highest (ha, ha) level since the survey was first taken in 2002 * That’s a nine percent increase in drug use * Marijuana, the most popular drug, rose in usage by eight percent * Ecstasy use rose by 37 percent * Meth use rose by 60 percent * Cocaine use has fallen 32 percent from its 2006 peak * Thinking about how weird your own voice sounds in your head when you’re talking has risen in frequency by eight percent * Six out of ten teenagers are having a great time, no, really, the best time, and would like to touch your beard * There were more than 45 million intense conversations in the United States in 2009 Authorities believe that the increase in ecstasy use may stem from the end of an early-2000s “widespread public safety campaign to warn young people about the dangers of ecstasy as a party drug”. The increase in meth use is attributed to more meth “coming across the border with Mexico,” according to Gil Kerlikowske, the director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy, while marijuana is seeing an increase in use thanks to “the focus of calling marijuana medicine.” This doesn’t surprise us at all! According to PEOPLE magazine, Jennifer Hudson has lost another 20 pounds!!! Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson has lost an additional 20 lbs. "I didn't expect to go as far as I did!" the Weight Watchers spokesperson told PEOPLE in New York City, where she launched the Lose for Good campaign, which teaches families how to prepare healthy low-cost meals in an effort to help fight hunger and obesity. "People are like, 'Okay Jennifer don't lose anything else!'" Hudson, who marked her 29th birthday on Sept. 12, still hasn't gotten used to seeing her slimmer reflection in the mirror. "I go into the store and they try to put me in 4s and 6s and I'm like [she looks over both shoulders] 'Who are you trying to talk to?'" says the former size 16 star. "My mind hasn't caught up yet." Elle Magazine Says Nothing Posted: 16 Sep 2010 03:55 PM PDT Gabby Sidibe in Elle Magazine's October issue and in V's January issue on the right If you, like quite a few others, think Elle Magazine OD’d when they photoshoped Gabourey Sidibe for their 25th Anniversary cover, the mag says you’re mistaken.Ever since the cover was revealed last week, critics have been complaining about the way America’s favorite plus-size Oscar nom was depicted. Critics say that the ‘Big C’ actress not only seems to have been digitally lightened, but that the plus-size star was not depicted in the same type of full-body photo as the other three cover models and that her hair style is unflattering. But a statement from Elle says these critics are analyzing the situation way too much. Elle said, “Nothing out of the ordinary was done. We have four separate covers this month and Gabby’s cover was not retouched any more or less than the others… If you take a look at the portfolio, each of the women were shot in different ways and for different reasons.” What do you think? Was this a conspiracy to make Gabby more acceptable to Elle’s readers? Or just the latest case of Photoshop gone wrong? Source
