| Russell Crowe Officially Joining Superman! Posted: 16 Jun 2011 12:45 PM PDT Russell Crowe is now officially Jor-El, Superman's daddy in the upcoming Zack Snyder/Christopher Nolan reboot of the franchise! He's now in the final stages of negotiations for the part once played by Marlon Brando in 1978, which Nolan had been looking to fill with an A-list star. Looks like he got his man! This was one of the last parts to cast, but they're also looking for someone to play Supe's biological mom as well. Not much is known about the plot so far, in typical Nolan fashion. Congrats to Russell, and we've thought about it and are really coming around to the idea of it being a good fit for him! How about U guys? U feelin' the Crowe?? [Image via WENN.] |

| Welcome Back! Dave Chappelle Has A New Show In The Works! Posted: 16 Jun 2011 12:20 PM PDT Well, this is a surprise! Aside from that Starbucks photo taken back in February, we hadn't seen Dave Chappelle in a LONG time, but now it looks like we may see quite a bit more of him. The former Chappelle's Show star is reportedly working on a new show for a "subscription entertainment service." No word yet on exactly which service, but Netflix or Sony's Crackle are strong possibilities. Best of luck with the new project, Dave! It's good to have U back! | CBS Renews Amazing Race For 20th Run Posted: 16 Jun 2011 12:10 PM PDT Good news for Amazing Race fans! CBS has just added a 20th season of the hit reality show, which sends competitors on a globetrotting trek, to air this spring in addition to the 19th season airing on Sundays this fall. The monster hit hasn't shown any signs of it's ratings slowing down either with season 17 and 18 reeling in an average of 11.2 million viewers an episode. Will U continue to watch the Amazing Race this fall? |

We have no idea how they're going to be able to top season five, but that's the same thing we said after season four wrapped, so we've got some serious expectations that we hope can be met! | Deets Revealed About Vanessa Minnillo's Bridal Shower! Posted: 16 Jun 2011 11:50 AM PDT Over Memorial Day weekend, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo hosted a wedding shower for their friends at the London Hotel rooftop in West Hollywood. It sounded like a lovely event, and now we've got a bunch of deets about Vanessa's bridal shower, which took place at her best friend's home in Beverly Hills over the weekend. Here's what a source had to say about it:
We've also learned that the event was lavender-themed, and guests enjoyed "purple Hypnotiq Harmonie cocktails in a garden decorated with violets." The guests commemorated the shower by taking pics "with a feather boa in a photo booth," and they left Vanessa notes in a scrapbook before dinner. Sounds wonderful, Vanessa! | Oprah Would've Launched OWN Network "Differently" If She Had To Do It Again Posted: 16 Jun 2011 11:30 AM PDT Oprah Winfrey went before the cable industry this morning with her tail slightly between her legs as she addressed the issues facing her failing OWN cable network. She admitted to the board that the "bumps" OWN has endured thus fair are partly her fault. With "one foot out the door" of her talk show and the other stepping into the network, she found it difficult to juggle both without sacrificing attention to one. But now that her talk show has ended she pledged to "commit" her "full energy, feet first, body immersed" with her cable staff. We're firm believers that there isn't anything Oprah can't do if she puts her mind to it. Obviously, she was a bit distracted when OWN launched and it suffered for it. But if she says she is committed, we say we expect it to flourish in the fall season! Just you wait and see! [Image via WENN.] |

During her latest show at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA, the singer debuted another new song off her upcoming album, called What the Water Gave Me! Ch-ch-check it out (above)! Not the best quality, but we are LOVING this! We think it's safe to say that gurl will be showing the sophomore slump what's what - BIG TIME! Can't wait to hear the studio version! What do U think??
