NOTHING TO SEE HERE: Rihanna Denies Dating Drake

As Rihanna and Drake have been spotted spending a lot of time together in Canada over the last week, it got tongues wagging about them hooking up (again?).  Find out what RiRi had to say about that inside....

We told you previously about Rihanna and Drake clubbing and dining in Canada for "work related activities" and being careful to avoid being photographed together off stage.  And it got folks to thinking the two were hooking up.

But when a fan asked Rihanna were dating on Twitter late last night, she simply responded "Nah, Boo."

And there you have it.

Speaking of Drizzy, he was spotted at the airport departing Canada yesterday:

He had appeared on stage with RiRi in both Toronto and Montreal for Rih's LOUD Tour.

EVENT ROUND-UP: Tika, Jay-Z, Halle, & J-Hud Party It Up In NYC

Celebs hit the town in Manhattan last night.  Tika Sumpter, Jennifer Hudson, Halle, Jay-Z, and others made their rounds at lots of events in the city, and we've got all the fab looks when you read on...

YBF Chick Jennifer Hudson worked it out in white last night at the amfAR Inspiration Gala at the Museum of Modern Art last night:

Glad she switched up that wig.  She's looking curvalicious and toned in this dress.  Loves it.

Great look for the singing mom of 1.  She hit the stage to perform as well:

Also at the event was model Chanel Iman:

Looking red hot.  She went for the dramatic eye look and Egyptian Goddess inspired gold shoes and clutch.  LOVES this.

And model Alex Wek got fringy with her look.

Elsewhere in New York, Halle kicked it in Harlem at the Red Rooster restaurant with actress Mariska Hargitay and Mayor Bloomberg for the Mayor's Fund Benefit Dinner To Support The Family Justice Centers:

Our fave chick Tika Sumpter worked her way to the Theory boutique downtown for a party hosted by Elle magazine:

Jay kicked it with actress Gina Gershon.  He was there to support his homie Bono as U2 and The Edge created all the music for the production:

Gayle King made an appearance with Bono.

And hit the carpet with Newark, New Jersey mayor Cory Booker.  Don't care what Gayle says...they are SO dating.

Robert DeNiro and his wife Grace Hightower kicked it with David "The Edge" Howell Evans.

And Spike Lee brought his kiddies out to the prodcution.

In addition to getting ready to perform at the BET Awards and the  “Today” show concert series on July 15, Breezy has new music coming for his loyal fans.  He recently said, “Before my Fortune album drop ima put out a hip hop mixtape. Well, still kinda debating.”

SPOTTED: Jordin Sparks Leaving ABC Studios + Plaxico Burress Goes Shopping

Jordin Sparks was seen uptown in NYC today leaving ABC studios after appearing on "Live With Regis and Kelly," while Plaxico Burress was spotted enjoying his freedom and getting some retail therapy elsewhere in Manhattan.  Pics inside....

Jordin Sparks was in NYC today where she appeared on "Live With Regis And Kelly."  Looks like she tapped back into hrher colorful hair she used to rock.

Jordin looked fabulous in her fitted black dress.  Great tan too.

Plaxico Burress was spotted outside the Apple Store.  He was on a free man's shopping spree today.


 

He hit up the nearby Sunglass Hut.

He greeted fans and took pics.  LOL at the fan who grabbed his arm and walked the streets with him.  Gotta love 'em...

Fans Start Trippin' Over Beyonce' At Nice Airport...Literally!

Beyonce was spotted flying out of Nice today in a cute printed sundress and her black Louboutin pumps.  And clearly folks got extra excited because they were falling over themselves to get to her.  Literally.

Victim Accuses Shaquille O'Neal Of Having Him Pistol-Whipped Over Alleged Sex Tape While Married To Shaunie

The name of retired NBA baller Shaquille O'Neal is being thrown around in a criminal case that involves an alleged kidnapping, an alleged sex tape, seven gang members and an alleged pistol-whipping beatdown robbery.  Deets inside....

 

In a story fit for Hollywood, a former business partner of Shaquille O'Neal is accusing the now retired superstar of a set-up that involved him being kidnapped, robbed and pistol-whipped by 7 L.A. Crips members over an alleged sex tape with his mistresses while he was married to now ex-wife Shaunie O'Neal.  Maybe Shaunie could produce that?

TMZ reports Robert Ross, who claims to have worked on some business projects with Shaq, says that he and the baller fell out after a business deal with Ray J went sour.  Here's the low down:

Feeling that Shaq owed him some money, Robert told Shaq that the security cameras at his home had captured him having sex with several women during his marriage to Shaunie.  But before Robert and Shaq could strike a deal...the -ish went left.

Robert claims that on Feb. 11, 2008 his Rolls Royce Phantom was surrounded by seven gang members, with guns drawn, who jumped into his car and made him drive to a house in South Central L.A.

Once there, he says he was pistol whipped, robbed of $15,000 and told to turn over the sex tape. He promised he would and they let him go. 

But of course Rob went to the cops.  Fast forward, the 7 men are now in jail and currently in the middle of a preliminary hearing.  

Although his name is wrapped all up in this mess, Shaq is not charged with anything and is not a suspect.  But it's not a good look for him either. 

So will we be seeing a Shaq sex tape?  Not likely.  Robert told the cops that the security camera recycles periodically and the video no longer exists. WOMP. Guess that beatdown was for nothing.

Reps for Shaq have not touched this one.

Kelly Rowland's New Single "Lay It On Me" Ft. Big Sean

Kelly Rowland has finally dropped her second single as a follow up to her #1 hit "Motivation" ft. Lil Wayne.  She tapped another rapper, Big Sean, this time around.

Sounds like another possible summer hit.  Her album Here I Am drops July 26th.  We feelin' it?

FOOLYWANG VIDEO: Bishop Eddie Long Stacks His Paper During Sermon

For those followers concerned about Bishop Eddie Long's future, he seems to be doing just fine if this video from Sunday's sermon is any indication.  A woman comes out the audience and gives him a stack of money so thick you'd think if came straight from the set of a Lil' Wayne strip club video clip.  Watch it inside.....

 

Call it what you want, but even after he settled his sexual abuse of power case, Bishop Eddie Long knows how to keep that paper stacking.  This past Sunday, he was interrupted mid-sermon by a woman who dropped off a huge stack of cash. 

He then told the church:

“Manifest! Signs, wonders, and miracles! I couldn’t pray for that! That’s just the first fruit, I see everybody bringing that to the alter. Quick, fast, in a hurry.”

Then all your cousins (yes, YOURS) started cheering and going in their pockets to "bless Pastor."  Maybe they felt compelled to help him pay off that alleged $25 million settlement.  Either way, from the eye contact he gave the woman as she passed him, it looks like he knew it was coming.  So was he trying to spark a trend so others will keep his pockets full in future church services?  Where do they bring up stacks of cash to a pastor during his sermon?  Or at all, honestly?

Eddie then said, "It might be her day today...but my day coming." (to the audience).

So....my day of celebration is the day I can give you a stack of money?  Interesting. Praise be to.....Bishop Long.

Or maybe she was paying her tithes.  But if that was her 10%, I'd love to know what she does for a living.

He was twitpic'd chillin' with his dad recently...and actress Reagan Gomez is his fabulous mom.  Reagan and her hubby, Dewayne Turrentine, had little Tyger back in April.  And they named their baby boy after Dewayne's nickname.  They also have a young daughter named Scarlett. Too cute!

Serena Williams On Her Near-Death Experiences Thanks To Partying+ Jordin Sparks Becomes An Ambassador

In a new interview, Serena Williams is opening up about the three major surgeries she's have over the past few years and the game changing blood clot that nearly end her career and her life.

We've seen Serena go through a lot lately both on and off the court, and in a very revealing discussion, she's now talking about her life before and after the blood clot surgery that nearly killed her.

Though the details do remain a little unclear, to make a long story short, Serena had two operations on her right foot and developed a blood clot after the second operation.  It's the blood clot that nearly killed her and ended her career. 

While talking at a press conference during the Aegon International tennis tournament in Eastbourne yesterday, Serena opened up about the surgery to remove a blood clot on her lung.

'It has been a totally different road because I've had some serious health problems and I was literally on my deathbed at one point.

'The doctors said that I had several clots bilaterally in both lungs. They said if they had caught it two days later, it could have been a lot more serious, possibly career-ending.


'A lot of people die from it because you don't recognise it. I couldn't breathe. I honestly just thought I was out of shape and needed to get on the treadmill or hit the elliptical (cross-trainer).

'It was my physio who forced me to go to the hospital whereas I was actually on the way to a party. She said, "No, you need to go to the hospital". I'm glad I didn't go to that party.'

 

After it was all over, the reality of what was going on sat in and she wasn't happy....

"After it was all over, there were a few days when I didn't get out of bed. So much had happened to me and I couldn't understand why. I was thinking, "Just what didn't I do or what did I do to deserve this?" '


'We were leaving the restaurant, I was walking and then I felt something. I just stepped back and said, "Oh, that really hurts". There was a massive pool of blood. I was like, "Oh my gosh."

'I ended up fainting because I lost so much blood. I ended up getting stitches in both feet. One was on top and one was on the bottom of my other foot. It sliced right through my ligament. I didn't know that, I just knew that my toe was hanging low."

She continued....


'The second surgery on my foot was way tougher than the first, especially mentally. More mentally tough than anything I have been through in my life outside of my sister's passing (her eldest sister Yetunde Price was shot dead in 2003).

'I was in a cast for 20 weeks. I'd rather have been in jail for 20 weeks because I really hated that cast. Having your foot in one position so long, not moving it, not being able to walk or do a lot of things caused a lot of the problems.

'After it was all over, there were a few days when I didn't get out of bed. So much had happened to me and I couldn't understand why. I was thinking, "Just what didn't I do or what did I do to deserve this?" '

But on a happier note, she's happy to be back playing.  She later said,

'I'm just excited to be here and playing. I hope tennis has missed Venus and me.


'If tennis has missed us half as much as we've missed tennis, we're in a good place. This is a comeback that's totally different from any other comeback.'

And how's the comeback going?  Very well.  Serena won her first match since 2010 today during her first round at Eastbourne.

Bey is rocking her international promo for her new 4 album.

The "Run The World (Girls)" Pop-N-B star is gracing the cover of the upcoming L'UOMO VOGUE.  And she's donning a Dior Homme look of a black tuxedo jacket, white tuxedo shirt, and bowtie.  Her short shorts are from Acne and top hat from N.Y. Vintage.  Paired with black fishnets and Tom Ford shoes of course.

The cover girl is also rocking the pages of the British mag DAZED & CONFUSED, which we posted pics of last week.  She told the mag she has killed of her alter ego Sasha Fierce and her main concern is becoming an icon:

The Braxton Sisters Get Summer Swimsuit Sexy For VIBE

The Braxton sisters are celebrating their reality show season finale tonight with new pics in VIBE magazine.  The sisters...sans Toni...donned sexy swimsuits and stilettos to show of their bods.

They've been catching some heat from readers elsewhere, but I personally think the ladies are looking fab.  The Braxton ladies are rocking the feature of VIBE's Summer of Celebs in Swimwear:

Traci, Tamar, Trina, and Towanda laughed it up during their revealing swimsuit photoshoot recently.  I still feel like Tamar needs to leave her face alone--she was pretty before all these nips and tweaks.

Tamar's rocking an Xhilaration bikini from Target paired with matching aqua Louboutin sandals and her own jewelry.

Towanda is in an Xhilaration bikini with black YSL sandals and jewelry from Belk and Nordstrom.

Kanye West dropped a new track of his that he left off of My Beautiful Dark & Twisted Fantasy.  It's called "Mama's Boyfriend" and we've got it after the cut...

When 'Ye hit up Facebook HQ a while ago to pub his last album, he dropped a few bars acapella from this track.  Now he's releasing the finished version...just because he can.  He's putting his feelings of being his late mother, Donda West's, "husband" of sorts while growing up.  And not feelin' the boyfriends she brought home:

TV FAB: Jada Pinkett Smith Tells "Chelsea" About Making Music, Movies And TV With Will And The Kids

Jada Pinkett Smith stopped by "Chelsea Lately" last night (previously taped) to dish on "Hawthorne's" third season premiere and working with Will Smith on the show and their children's projects.  Check out the video inside.....

 

While Jada dished to funny girl Chelsea about her life, she talked about what it is like to work with your spouse and she said it has its ups and downs.  But she added that it's very special when they look at the things they have created together like Jaden's Karate Kid movie or Willow's music videos.
